Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Jan; two sons, Daniel (Jan) Dorak, Waukesha, Chris (Deb) Dorak, Two Rivers; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin (Helen) Dorak.

Melda M.L. Krueger
Melda M.L. Krueger, 87, Shawano. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville, and 10-11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, township of Pella. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Survivors include two daughters, Glorianne (Jerry) Kuschel, Green Bay, Verl (Harold) Wolf, Marion; one son, Norman (Jane) Krueger, Clintonville; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Myrtle (Robert) Winter, Bonduel.

Blossom T. Mueller
Blossom T. Mueller, 81. A private service will be held. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Johnson, Middleburg, Va., Carol Truel, Miami Lakes, Fla; two sons, Ron (Debbie) Mueller, Hendersonville, N.C., Jack (Roberta) Mueller, Seymour; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Raymond E. Nead
Raymond E. Nead, 82, Green Bay. Visitation 2-4 p.m. today at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral service 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Betty; one daughter, Judy (Paul) Bohman, Mishicot; one sister, Ethel (Fran) Vander Heyden, Green Bay.

Horace O. Nixon Jr.
Horace O. "Nick" Nixon Jr., 90. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Graveside service 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Allouez Catholic Cemetery, 2121 Riverside Drive. Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Nelda) Nixon, Fairbanks, Alaska, William C. Nixon; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Judith O'Blenes
Judith "Judy" O'Blenes, 79, Green Bay. Visitation 10-11 a.m. today at West Mason Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St. Funeral service 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include one son, David (Sandra) O'Blenes, Green Bay; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Frank (Kathy) Taff, Appleton; one sister, Rose Schroeder, Lincoln, Neb.

Miriam Helen Paape
Miriam Helen Paape, 90, Green Bay, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003. She was born January 2, 1913, in De Pere, Wis., to the late John and Anna (Peters) Kersten. Prior to marrying George June 19, 1937, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere, Helen worked as a telephone operator. She and George owned and operated a Red Owl grocery store in Reedsville from 1945 to 1954. George preceded her in death August 17, 1986. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for nearly 50 years. For 24 years, she was a volunteer organist at Western Village, Woodside Lutheran Home, San Luis Medical and Rehab Center and the Salvation Army and helped with other activities. Helen loved her family, music, golfing and playing cards. She was a devoted mother, a woman of great faith and an example for us of service to others.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and John Gottschalk, Madison, and Rose Ann and Bill Buttke, Green Bay; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Betty Paape, Minneapolis, Minnesota; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Willemsen, Walworth, Wis.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Paape; one great-granddaughter, Katelyn Ryan; one brother, Norbert Kersten; and one sister, Leona Brozyna.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established for Unity Hospice.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Unity Hospice for the special care given and the genuine concern shown.

Gladys M. Stern
Gladys M. Stern, 91, Seymour. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main St., Seymour. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Survivors include two sisters, Beatrice (Glenn) Kluth, Clintonville, Catherine (Francis) Beckman, Appleton; one brother, Arthur (Pat) Zuiches, Shiocton. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, is assisting the family.

Donald L. Bordeleau
Donald L. Bordeleau, 85, Green Bay. A private visitation and funeral service were held at West Mason Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St. Survivors include his wife, Ceil; one daughter, Sandi (Russell) Crawford, Shawano; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.

Thomas A. Clement
Thomas A. Clement, 61, of Topeka, Kan., passed away on July 4, 2003, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.

Tom was born on May 17, 1942, in Green Bay to the late Dr. Francis and Dora Marie (Lindquist) Clement of Green Bay. On January 27, 1968, he married Carolyn Powell Barbour at Ft. Bragg, N.C. Each day of their 35-year marriage was a celebration of love and devotion to each other and to their cherished daughters Chrissy and Lisa.

Tom enjoyed life to the fullest, treasuring time with his family. His out-going personality and love of his grandchildren, Adam McKenzie, Matt and Cole brought life and laughter to our family. His free time was spent creating beautiful memories in his garden, reading and traveling.

Tom attended Annunciation Catholic Elementary School and Premontre Catholic High School in Green Bay. He graduated in 1964 from St. Norbert College in De Pere, with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. In 1980, Tom received a master's of business administration degree from Kansas State University. Tom was commissioned a lieutenant in the U.S. Army as an Artillery officer. He served on active duty for 11 years attaining the rank of major. His career included several assignments in the United States, a tour of duty in Germany, and two combat tours in Vietnam in 1965-66 and 1969-70. His military decorations include the Purple Heart medal and the Bronze Star for Valor. He served in several units including the 101st Airborne Division and 82nd Airborne Division.

Upon leaving military service, Tom spent 10 years in retail management for Wal-Mart Stores, owned and managed a shipping business, and most recently was a federal employee with the U.S. Postal Service.

Tom was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Topeka where he was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council #8411 James W. Gibbons Assembly of the 4th Degree, a member of the Parish Council and a Eucharistic minister. Tom is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn; his daughters and their spouses, Christina (Michael) Manning, Olathe, Kan., Melissa (Peter) Van Prooyen, Georgetown, Texas; his grandchildren, McKenzie and Cole Manning, and Adam and Matthew Van Prooyen; his siblings and their spouses, James (Carol) Clement, Rockville, Md., Sister Patricia Ann Clement, C.S.J., Green Bay, David (Donna) Clement, Green Bay and Robert (Cynthia) Clement, Gurnee, Ill; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tom will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday with a Parish Rosary at 7 p.m., and a Knights of Columbus Rosary and a 4th Degree Chalice Ceremony at 7:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2003, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 W. 25th Street, Topeka, KS, 66614. Entombment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the Thomas A. Clement Memorial Fund at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Bernard J. Cropp
Bernard J. Cropp, 91, Green Bay. Visitation after 10 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. today at the church. Survivors include his wife, Martha. Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., is assisting the family.
