Dale J. Brunette
Dale J. Brunette, 72, died unexpectedly at home of an apparent heart attack on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005. He was a willing helper to anyone who needed a hand and would always help his children and grandchildren with all of the various projects they were involved in. He liked animals and would spend his time feeding hundreds of birds as well as squirrels and deer. He also liked old cars and shooting pool. Dale was a true Packer fan for many years. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Dale was born June 14, 1932 to Leo and Alma (Marks) Brunette. He was a 1951 graduate of Catholic Central High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. On Dec. 28, 1955, he married Joan Allen. Dale had been employed by Green Bay Packaging for 40 years, retiring in 1994.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Joan; five children and their spouses, Keith and Sheryl Brunette, Craig and Mary Brunette, Kevin and Mary Brunette, Ellen Olmsted, Brenda and Bill Robillard; 13 grandchildren, Jackie, Jon, Michael and Stephanie Brunette; Joey, Matthew, Jacob and Molly Brunette; Ben and Harry Brunette; Brook, Robert and Chris Robillard; a sister, Fern Schaaf; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Rene Brunette; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol Kimel, Diane McCollian, Sharon and Stephen Wiegert, Mary Allen, Ralph and Betsy Allen, David and Brenda Allen, Mark and Kristen Allen, Bruce and Kathy Allen.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Brunette; his parents, Leo and Alma Brunette; a brother, Bryle Brunette, a brother-in-law, Carlton Schaaf; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Gertrude Allen.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. James Dillenburg officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

Erwin 'Erv' F. Haber
Erwin "Erv" F. Haber, 92, Green Bay, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Woodside Nursing Home after a brief illness. He is survived by one daughter, Susan K. Haber. Erv was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Katherine Six and by his brother, Frederick Haber of Milwaukee. Erv was a dedicated member of Faith Lutheran Church, Green Bay. For over 20 years he was an active volunteer in support of the work for the local Cerebral Palsy Foundation. He worked throughout his adult life as an accountant in Milwaukee, White Bear Lake, Minn., and most recently at Pauly Cheese Company where he retired in 1978.
Family and friends may call Friday, February 18, 2005, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at church, with Pastor Peter A. Speckhard officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
