William Lamont Cattanach, 52, Owen, died Sunday, Jan. 30 at his home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen, with Rev. Eric Linzmaier officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Joan Johnson
(1930-2005)
Joan Arlene Johnson, 74, Town of Greenwood, died Friday, Jan. 28 at her home with hospice care. Funeral services are Thursday, Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Rev. Roger Sloan officiating. Pallbearers will be six members of Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake. Visitation is Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, and Thursday at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Paul Kleist
(1920-2005)
Paul V. "Red" Kleist, 84, Medford, died Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Funeral services were Saturday, January 29 at the United Church Of Christ in Medford, with Rev. James Briney officiating. Military rites were conducted. His grandchildren served as pallbearers. His body was cremated.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Raymond Rogalski
(1917-2005)
Raymond R. Rogalski, 87, Thorp, died Saturday, Jan. 29 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp, with Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Pallbearers are Jerry, David, and Rich Luzinksi, Gregg and Karen Turenne, and Loretta Jarocki. Visitation is Tuesday at Thorp Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be a 7:30 p.m. parish and Knights of Columbus Rosary service.

Marion Kerr
(1910-2005)
Marion R. Kerr, 94, Wittenberg, died Thursday, Jan. 27 at Homme Home in Wittenberg. Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 31 at Homme Home Chapel in Wittenberg, with the Rev. Richard Gildseth officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery.
Schmidt Schulta Funeral Home in Wittenberg assisted the family with arrangements.

Kevin Bargenquast
(1964-2005)
Kevin G. Bargenquast, 40, Abbotsford, died Friday, Jan. 21 as the result of a Price County snowmobile accident. Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 25 at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, with Rev. Kenneth Dix officiating.

Elsie Brost
(1924-2005)
Elsie M. Brost, 80, Town of Medford, died Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 22 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville with her brother-in-law Rev. Frederick Brost and Deacon Joseph Roe officiating. Burial was in Medford Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Brost, Dan Sackman, Jim Czech, Bob and Scott Romang, and Bob Heckendorf.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

William Costello
(1929-2005)
William P. Costello, 75, Medford, died Saturday, Jan. 22 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford. Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford with Revs. Gerard Willger and Irv Case and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was in Medford Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Les Hanson, Ray Klingbeil, Bryan Carey, Ed Kapfhamer, John Schmucker, and Stan Carlson. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Handel and George Webb.

James Kraschnewski
James H. Kraschnewski, 66, died Thursday, Jan. 20 as a result of an automobile accident. There will be no services held at this time. Brainard Funeral Home of Wausau is assisting the family with arrangements.

Vienna Lucia
(1918-2005)
Vienna Louise Lucia, 87, Rib Lake, died Tuesday, Jan. 18 at the Rib Lake Health Care Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with Rev. Douglas Helling officiating. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in the Northside Cemetery in Westboro.

Arthur Meschefske
(1912-2005)
Arthur J. Meschefske, 92, Tomah, died Friday, Jan. 21 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tomah. Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 25 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, with Rev. James Babler officiating. Burial was in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery with graveside military rites. Pallbearers were Jack Dallas, and grandsons Jeff, Scott, and Craig Albers, and Reed Meschefske.

Anna Meyer

Anna M. Meyer, 77, Medford, died Monday, Jan. 24 at St. Joseph s Palliative Care in Marshfield. Funeral services are Saturday, Jan. 29 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. John Melke officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield. Pallbearers are grandsons Daniel, Jesse, Thomas, James, Adam, Aaron, and Noah Meyer, and Seth and Luke Fekete. Visitation is Friday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church beginning at 9 a.m.

Roger Olejniczak
(1936-2005)
Roger Vernon Olejniczak, 68, Lake Holcombe, died Friday, Jan. 21 at his home. Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 25 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig s Catholic Church in Thorp, with Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date. Pallbearers were Dave Shewczyk, Pete Hansen, Jim Jarocki, Fred Turenne, Ray and Jerry Price, and Ken Henrickson.
Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Helen D. Rau, 85, Medford, died Monday, Jan. 24 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford. Funeral services are Friday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Paul Steinberg officiating. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers are grandchildren Jill Kleczewski, Jacki and Jenni Rau, and David and Susan Hartwig. Visitation is Thursday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the church beginning at 11 a.m.

Joanne Karen Schultz, 59, Rib Lake, died Monday, Jan. 17 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 20 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake with Rev. Cheri Miskimen officiating. Burial was in Mount Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Pallbearers were Aaron Bishop, Fran and Sharon Coenen, Ted Neibauer, Roger Hollenbeck and Steve Weinand.

Alan Fritsche
(1946-2005)
Alan A. Fritsche, 59, Wausau, died Monday, March 7 at his home, under hospice care. Funeral services will be Friday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at The Church of St. Anne in Wausau, with Deacon Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home in Wausau, with a 7:30 p.m. parish rosary service. Visitation at the church begins at 10 a.m.

Robert Maier Sr.
(1935-2005)
Robert John Maier Sr., 69, Stetsonville, died Monday, March 7 at his home under hospice care. Funeral services are Friday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Paul Steinberg officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen II Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers are David and Mike Olson, Donna Moss, and Guy, Corey, and Ray Tallman Jr. Don Radtke is an honorary pallbearer. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Medford and Friday at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m.
