Franklin “Frank” R. Tlusty, 75, Medford, died Monday, May 15 at Memorial Health Center emergency room. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Whittlesey, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery in Whittlesey. Pallbearers were Mark Tlusty Jr., Mike Tlusty Jr., Shawn Tlusty and Paul Tlusty.

Jeffrey “Dorf” L. Wieting, 48, Medford, died Monday, May 15 at Memorial Health Center emergency room. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Crivitz, with Rev. Mark Hannemann officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Crivitz. Pallbearers are Dave Pepper, Tom Wojtkiewicz, Jim Przybylski, Matt and Dan Wieting, and Brian and Todd Shepro
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 18 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz from 4 to 8 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Lannie Faude, 55, Withee, died Sunday, May 7 at St. Joseph’s Hospital emergency room in Marshfield, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle/auto accident. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, with Reverend Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Adeline Ann Heindl, 79, of Dorchester, died Saturday, May 6 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 10 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, with Father Paul Gitter officiating. Burial was at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Craig and Chris Heil, Clinton and Paul Heindl, Mike King and Rob Wegmueller.

Martha Schwabe, 93, Medford, died Saturday, April 29 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford where she had lived the past eight years. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 3 at The United Church Of Christ in Medford, with Mary Jo Laabs officiating. Burial was at Chelsea Community Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were her great-granddaughters. Active pallbearers were her great-grandsons.

Danny A. Ulrich, 61, Town of Hill, died Sunday, April 30. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. at Ogema Baptist Church, with Pastor David Root officiating. Inurnment will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in the Town of Hill.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Harvey Viergutz
(1925-2006)
Harvey H. Viergutz, 80, Medford, died Wednesday, April 19 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital while under hospice care. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 22 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford with graveside military rites performed by Medford VFW Honors team. Pallbearers were Jack, Jay, Shane, Jason, Ryan and “Slats” Viergutz.

Harvey Viergutz was born September 5, 1925 in Medford to the late Ferdinand and Hilda (Bormann) Viergutz. He attended Medford area elementary schools and was a graduate of Medford High School. He entered the United States Navy and served during WWII, then returned to Medford.
On July 3, 1948 he married Shirley L. Block, who preceded him in death on February 16, 1972, in Medford. He married Marge Kuenne, who survives, on September 3, 1977 in Iowa. He worked at Hartman’s Garage, Bauer’s Bar and owned and operated Harvey’s Bar. He also worked at Weather Shield and the City of Medford until retirement.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Klossner-Dietzler VFW Post No. 5729, and the old Medford Archery Club. He enjoyed playing cribbage, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, John “Jack” (Pam), Jay (Valerie), and Shane (Jenn), all of Medford; two step daughters, Christine (Andy) Slote of Plano, Texas, and Carla (Dave) Brost of Medford; two sisters, Mildred Erl of Medford and Marge Hein of Ripon; a brother, Dick “Slats” of Medford; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by one brother in infancy.

Albert O. Carroll, 64, Town of Goodrich, died Monday, April 24 in Tomahawk. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Medford, with Pastor Brian Wipf officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery II in Medford. Pallbearers will be Jerry Holtz, Wayne Fuchs, Neil Blomberg, Gary Siebert, Jim Jonas and Jim Faber.

Former Hannibal area resident Harold W. Couillard, 78, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, April 22 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 26 at Zion Lutheran Church in Gilman, with Pastor Steven Haag officiating. Burial was at the Donald Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Sheldon VFW Post.
