Dorothy E. Rogge, 93
Dorothy E. Rogge, nee Anderson, of Kewaskum, formerly of West Bend, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend, at the age of 93.
She was born Jan. 18,1907, in Brookfield, to the late Charles W. and Anna (nee Stork) Anderson.
On April 26, 1927, she married Arthur B. Bohn in Milwaukee. He passed away March 7, 1959. On March 12, 1966, she married Henry F. Rogge in Milwaukee.
In 1969 she retired from A&P Tea Co. offices in the financial auditing department after 23 years of service.
Henry passed away July 5, 1986.
Dorothy was a charter member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathlyn Sweet of New Berlin and Janice Crowley of Milwaukee; four stepchildren, Roger (Mary) Rogge of Jackson, Gerald Rogge of Coleman, Charles (Judy) Rogge of Coleman and Joanne (Jerry) Liska of Grafton; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Martha) Anderson of Nekoosa; a sister, Lorraine Likness of Hudson, Fla.; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were two sons-in-law, Joseph Sweet and James Crowley; two brothers; and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Fr. Jeff Haines will officiate, and burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.
Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 3 to 5:45 p.m.
Memorials may be given to St. Frances Cabrini Parish.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.

William E. Kindt
William E. Kindt of the town of Erin passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000. He was 72 years old.
He was born Jan. 13, 1928 in Milwaukee, to the late Albert and Ellen (nee Fahrenholz) Kindt and married Phyllis Zodtner on Dec. 27, 1952 at First Lutheran Church in Janesville.
William was a graduate of St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in accounting. He started two successful businesses, Neidermeier & Kindt Millwork and W.E. Kindt Manufacturing.
Bill is survived by two sons, James (Patti) and John (Clare) Kindt; a daughter ,Ann (Daniel) Droege; 6 grandchildren, Melissa, Nicholas, Sarah, Ben, Jacob and Noah; and a brother Alan (Donna) Kindt.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis and his parents.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Olaf's Church, W653 Roosevelt Road, with Rev. Larry Westfield officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's future columbarium.
Memorials to St. John's Northwestern Military Academy or Hospice Care Inc. in Madison.

Mary L. Hansen
Mary L. Hansen (nee Roets) died Dec. 23, 1999 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls of pneumonia.
She was born March 27,1928. The Milwaukee native lived all of her married life in Richfield and married LaVerne J. Hansen on Jan. 8, 1949 at St. Agnes Church in Milwaukee.
Mary enjoyed people and worked all of her life. She worked as a secretary at Germantown High School, Community Memorial Hospital, Medical Associates in Menomonee Falls and, lastly, at West Bend General Clinic.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards with friends, reading and watching sports. She was an avid Packer fan and never missed a game. She was a longtime member of the St. Columba Christian Women's Society and served on parish council at St. Columba. Mary also worked as a pollworker for the town of Richfield.
In addition to LaVerne J., her husband of nearly 51 years, she is survived by two sons, John (Vicki) of Elroy and Robert (Carol) of West Bend: three daughters, Shirley (Robert) Helmer of West Bend, Kathleen Hansen of Lake Mills and Janet (John) Reichert of Colgate. She was the loving grandma of 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mary has one brother, William (Mary) Roets of Warren Robins, Ga.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Dec. 31, 1999 at St. Columba Catholic Church, Colgate. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The family suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association, St. Hubert School, Hubertus, or Holy Angels School, West Bend.

Howard Dukelow
Howard Dukelow of Auburndale, formerly of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at his residence. He was 81 years old.
He was born July 5, 1919 in the town of Hustisford to Raymond and Anne (nee Hetzel) Dukelow, and married Geneva D. Dais on May 9, 1942 at St. Kilian's Church in Hartford.
Howard was an employee of Midas International then became an independent insurance agent for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Hartford VFW Post #8834, Knights of Columbus #2689, Courtney-Carr-Milner American Legion Post #19, and since 1994, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterhaven, Fla.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Daniel) Hiller of Auburndale; two grandchildren, Tracy (Shawn) Steiner of Winter Park and Brenda (Serge Philips) Hiller of Miami; two sisters, Jean (Tom) Gandy of Wyoming and Marcella Dukelow of Neosho; a brother, Donald (Louise) Dukelow of Algoma; two brothers-in-law, Jerome (Carmen) Dais and Eugene (Florence) Dais, both of Hartford; further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geneva who passed away Aug. 3, 1999; a brother, Clyde Dukelow; a sister, Patricia (Gilbert) Neu and a sister-in-law, Rosemarie Dukelow.
A mass of Christian burial was Monday, Jan. 31, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Kilian's Church, Hartford, with Father Franklyn Becker officiating. Visitation at Shimon Funeral Home Monday from 4 to 7 p.

Anita M. Degeler
Anita M. Degeler (nee Margraf) of Slinger died Wednesday, Jan. 26 at her residence at the age of 83 years.
She was born Feb. 29, 1916 in the town of Polk to Philip and Katherine (nee Scherr) Margraf, and married Lyle C. Degeler on May 6, 1943 at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Slinger.
She was a cook at Shady Side Restaurant for more than 20 years, retiring in 1971. She was also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle; five children, Kenneth (Patricia) of Warrens, Ronald of Sturgeon Bay, Wayne (Victoria) of Slinger, "Sue" Dorlis (James) Vogel of Maplewood, and David of Slinger; sister-in-law Rachel Margraf of West Bend, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Dorlis Neisar of Muscoda, brother-in-law Glenn (Bernice) Degeler of Hustisford, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 28, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger with Father Robert J. Bales officiating. Visitation was at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Cremation at Parkview Cremations of Fond du Lac.
Memorials are appreciated to St. Peter's Catholic Church of Slinger.
The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.

Sanford W. "Sam" Blodgett
Sanford W. "Sam" Blodgett of Martinez, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga. He was 77 years old.
He was a native of Hutchins and had retired as a machinist with Greenfield Industries. He was an Army veteran and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He received the Meritorious Unit Award, Good Conduct, America Theater Service, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service and Philippine Liberation medals. He was also a member of Day Spring Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rose S. Blodgett; four sons, John W. Blodgett of Augusta, Ga, Russell M. Blodgett of Martinez, Ga., Robert W. Blodgett of Evans, Ga. and Dennis C. Hines of Augusta; a daughter, Rosemarie Carter of North Augusta, S.C.; three brothers, David M. Blodgett of Whitewater, DeLou R. Blodgett of Lake Geneva and Wayne Blodgett of Hartford; three sisters, Clarabell Shuma of Hartford, Katherine Wurtz of Janesville and Marcelaine McCulloch of Whitewater; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family received friends at Starling-Hatcher Funeral Home, 7502 Richmond Hill Road, Augusta, Ga. Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church with Dr. John F. Moore and Dr. James A. Perkins officiating. Burial was at the South Harlem Cemetery, Harlem, Ga.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of August, 246 Davis Road, Augusta, Ga. 30907.

Joan C. Beilke
Joan C. Beilke, of Mayville, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. She was 60 years old.
She was born to George and Erma (nee Van Houten) Zuest on June 26, 1939 in Hartford. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1957. She married Ronald Beilke on June 17, 1961 in Hartford.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mayville, the Mayville American Legion Auxiliary Post #69 and the West Bend-Hartford Chapter of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; two sons, Kurt (Lynn) Beilke of Mayville and Keith (special friend Lisa Graf) Beilke also of Mayville; two grandsons, John and Jason Beilke; mother-in-law, Hilda Beilke of Mayville, a sister, Jean (James) Linder of Slinger, a niece and nephew, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 31 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mayville from 4 until the time of service. A funeral service followed at 7 p.m. with Rev. Geoffrey Hoy officiating. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
Memorials are appreciated to the St. Paul Organ Fund.

Marvin V. Holschbach
Marvin V. Holschbach, 69, of Branson, Mo., died unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
He was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Manitowoc, to the late Paul and Clara Holschbach.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he had worked in construction, retiring from Vilter Mfg. as a refrigeration service engineer in 1990.
He served on the Manitowoc City Council from 1971-'75.
Marvin and his wife moved from West Bend to Branson in 1993.
At the time of his death, Marvin was serving as the vice president of the Master Board of Holiday Hills Homeowners Association, was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Branson and was a member of the Wisconsin Pipe Trades Local 601 of Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; 12 children, Michael (Judy) Holschbach of Madison, Deborah (Brent) Johnson of Sheridan, Ark, Robbin (Keith) Jansky, James Holschbach and Karl (Debra) Holschbach, all of Manitowoc, Beth Holschbach (fiance Jon Suchon) of Whitelaw, Michael Stuebs of Yuma, Ariz., Pamela (Brian) Murphy of Spokane, Wash., T.J. Stuebs (friend Carryl Baldwin) of South Dakota, Lisa Engeleiter of Newburg, Michelle (Joe) Shirkey of West Bend and Steven (Vicki) Stuebs of Cascade; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Bernice (Don) Barta, Donald (Dolores) Holschbach, Grace Brandl, Vernon (Dorothy) Holschbach, Eunice Mella, all of Manitowoc, Harvey Holschbach of Two Rivers and Paul (Rose) Holschbach of De Pere; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Jerome; a sister-in-law Corrinne Holschbach; and two brothers-in-law, Arnold Brandl and Leonard Mella.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Bon
