Jerry L. Zielieke, 55
Jerry L. Zielieke, 55, of Campbellsport, died Monday, April 3, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital of West Bend.
He was born in Farmington, Mo., on Oct. 11, 1944, to Aaron and Geraldine (Thurman) Zielieke, and on Oct. 24, 1954, married Jewell Laleike at St. John's Church, West Bend.
He was a certified well driller with Zielieke Well Drilling, Inc.
Jerry was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Campbellsport, the National Ground Water Association, the Wisconsin Water Well Association, the Kettle Moraine Klassic Kar Club, the Classic Mercury Club and the Cushman Club of America.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Geraldine of Campbellsport; two sons, Jon (Jill) and Jim, both of Campbellsport; three grandsons, Cody, Clayton and Nathan; a brother, Jeff (special friend Char) of Campbellsport; two sisters, Brenda (Bill) Skudlarczyk of Campbellsport and Robyn (Brian) King of Fond du Lac; his mother-in-law, Gladys Pirsig of West Bend; a sister-in-law, Joan (Guy) Breger of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate, and burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
Visitation at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Friday from noon until the time of services at the church.
Memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.

Gerald E. 'Tiny' Hoepner, 55
Gerald E. "Tiny" Hoepner, 55, of West Bend, died Monday, April 3, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 18, 1944, in Dodge County, to the late Ewald and Linda (nee Dobberpuhl) Hoepner, and married Margaret A. Klahn on Sept. 28, 1968, at St. Matthias Church, Nabob.
As a child, his family moved to the West Bend area. After graduating from West Bend High School, he became employed at The West Bend Co., retiring in December, 1999 as an operations coordinator.
He was a member of the 25-Year Club at The West Bend Co.
He enjoyed golfing and bowling, participating in local leagues.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Cindy (Michael) Hinckley, Mary Lou and Greg, all of West Bend; two grandchildren, Dylan and Kayden Hinckley; a sister, Leora (Ronald) Arbogash of Rhinelander; a brother, Leroy (Mary B.) of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, West Bend, with Pastor Oscar Kraft officiating. Burial will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday from 3 to 7:15 p.m.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or National Kidney Foundation are appreciated.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.

Raymond A. Ehmke, 85
Raymond A. Ehmke, 85, of West Bend, died Monday, April 3, 2000, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
He was born Aug. 26, 1914, in Milwaukee, to the late Reinhard and Theresa Ehmke, and married Virginia Wiedenhoeft on April 23, 1938, in Milwaukee.
Raymond was a city of Milwaukee police officer for 25 years, retiring in 1968. He then worked at Wauwatosa East High School as the chief stock clerk for 10 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend, the Cedar Lake Village Choir and was a former member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club at the Cedar Campus.
Raymond was also an avid hunter and golfer and enjoyed square dancing.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Susan Haldane of Sheboygan; a sister, Genevieve Schneider of Milwaukee; a brother, Robert (Marge) of Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ehmke of Menomonee Falls; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Warren and Glenn, and a brother-in-law, Thomas Schneider.
Visitation will be at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, on Thursday, April 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.
A private family service will be held Friday. Rev. Jeffrey Haines of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church will officiate, and cremation will follow.
Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Cedar Lake Health Care Center are appreciated.

Lester C. Schloemer, 93
Lester C. Schloemer of West Bend, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, at the age of 93.
He was born April 13, 1906, in the town of Jackson, to the late Charles and Elizabeth (nee Lorenz) Schloemer, and farmed in the town of Jackson until retiring in 1965.
Survivors include a sister, Sylvia Staehler and a brother, Roland, both of West Bend; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Marion Theusch, and two brothers-in-law, Raynor Theusch and Joseph Staehler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 7, at 8:15 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend. Fr. Adrian Staehler O.F.M. Cap., will officiate, and burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 7 p.m. until the time of services.
The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.

Madge K. MacBean, 99
Madge K. MacBean, nee Brittain, of Allenton, formerly of Prescott, Ariz., died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at the Hartford Care Center, Hartford, at the age of 99.
She was born Sept. 18, 1900, in Wausau, to the late Steve and Lena (Bever) Brittain, and raised in the Marshfield area.
After her marriage to Karl MacBean, the couple lived in Milwaukee, later moving to Prescott, Ariz. and settling in Allenton in 1985.
She moved to Slinger in 1990 to live at the Friedenheim residential facility.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Josephine "Jean" Brittain of Slinger; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Slinger.
A Memorial Mass was held Friday, March 31, at 2:30 p.m. at Friedenheim "House of Peace" in Slinger. Father James Strupp officiated, and interment of ashes will take place in Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott.
Memorials are appreciated to St. Peter's Catholic Church of Slinger.
The Phillip Funeral Home, Slinger, is assisting the family.

Dwayne S. 'Dewey' Kohler, 39
Dwayne S. "Dewey" Kohler, 39, of West Bend, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at his residence in Milwaukee.
He was born Jan. 23, 1961, in West Bend, to Anton and JoAnne (Eckert) Kohler.
He was raised in the West Bend area where he was self-employed as a carpet layer.
Survivors include four children, Jason Kohler of West Bend, and Dwayne Jr., Ashley and Samantha; his mother, JoAnne Kohler-Schodron of Green Bay; two brothers, Dale of Hartford and Tony (Barb) of Marshfield; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father, Anton "Tony."
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend. Cremation will take place at Parkview Cremations of Fond du Lac.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials are appreciated.

Werner T. Zuern, 83
Werner T. Zuern, 83, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2000, at the Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.
He was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Hartford, to the late William and Frances (nee Ziegelbauer) Zuern, and married Esther Kissinger on Nov. 28, , 1940, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Werner loved farming and farmed his whole life. He was also a member of St. Kilian's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard of Milwaukee; four daughters, Sandra (Dan) Weidner and Mary Zuern, both of Slinger, Barbara (Ralph) Horst and Nancy Zuern, both of Hartford; three grandchildren, Jane (Paul) Dean, Pete Weidner and Annah Horst; two great-grandchildren, Katie and Alex Dean; a special friend, "Smily;" nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a brother, John, and two sisters, Catherine Wenninger and Adeline Mueller.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Kilian's Church, Hartford. Father Michael Petrie will officiate, and interment will be in St. Kilian's Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m.

Lee G. Dobberphul, 57
Lee G. Dobberphul, 57, of West Bend, died Monday, April 3, 2000.
He was the beloved husband of Lola L. (nee Lane); dear father of Brian (Laurie), Keith (Jodi) and Dawn (Henry) Tyler. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Irene Lane; a sister-in-law, Phyllis McFarlin; other relatives and friends.
He was an employee of LaLonde-Stafford Contractors.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at the Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, with interment in Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services for John L. Duehning will be Wednesday, April 5, at 8 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, Slinger. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
