Agnes H. "Aggie" Weninger
Agnes H. "Aggie" Weninger, nee Wild, 89, of Big Cedar Lake, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1911, in Wimbeldon, N.D., to the late Alfred and Philomenia (Reiser) Wild, and moved to Webster, Wis., at an early age.

After her marriage to Roman L. Weninger on April 8, 1929, at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Whitefish Bay, the couple lived in the town of Addison on the family farm.

She was a member of the St. Lawrence Christian Mothers, the Gold Star Mothers and Women's Auxiliary of the VFW of Allenton.

Her husband passed away Feb. 6, 1982.

Survivors include five children, Jack (Kate) of Slinger, Shirley Bacon of Milwaukee, Margie (Clarence) Schmidt of the town of Barton, Mary (Marc) Bozo of Saline, Mich. and Sally (Art) Retzlaff of the town of West Bend; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Madeline Hug of West Bend and Angie (Phil) Krezinski of Beaver Dam; a brother, Gib (Margie) Wild of Beaver Dam; three sisters-in-law, Rosie Wild of Hartford and Gladys Wild and Marion (Ernie) Slavik, both of Beaver Dam; a brother-in-law, John (Rosalie) Hug of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were two sisters and five brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Lawrence.

Father Alois Van Beek will officiate, and interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass.

Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the loving care given to theirmother and the constant vigil to her by Home Care Services of Richfield, the Kettle Moraine Support Services and the Vitas Innovative Hospice Care of Brookfield.

The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.

Virginia I. Steuber
Virginia I. Steuber, nee Krueger, of Menomonee Falls, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her residence, at the age of 82.
She was the beloved mother of Robert (Diana), Patricia (Emil) Koltermann, Kenneth (Sue), Donald, Deborah (Thomas) Varish and Terry (Gerald) Kenyon.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George, and an infant daughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Schramka-Herrick Funeral Home, W164 N9034 Water St., Menomonee Falls, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Robert R. "Bob" Monday
Robert R. "Bob" Monday, 59, of Cedarburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee.
He was born July 4,1941, in Newburg, to Joseph B. and Leona (nee Parlow) Monday.

During the Vietnam War, Bob served with the 5th Cavalry in the U.S. Army.

He married Mary K. Sampont, and for over 30 years was employed as a driver for United Parcel Service, retiring in 1998.

Bob was an honorary member of the Newburg Fire Department, a lifetime member of the VFW Waubeka Post 7037, and a member of Teamsters Local 344.

Survivors include two children, Robert J. (Amy) of West Bend and Carla M. Monday of Newburg; his loving companion, Diane M. Palmer of Cedarburg; his mother, Leona H. Monday of Newburg; three brothers, Joseph (Sue) of Spring Hill, Fla., Philip (Sue) and Virgil (Bonnie), both of West Bend; four sisters, Mary (John) Sampont of Port Washington, Barb (Charlie) Geib of Wausau, Carolyn (Mark) Janz of Kewaskum and Chris (Dan) Beulein of Berlin; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death was his father, Joseph, on July 13, 1993.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. at Divine Word Catholic Church, Cedarburg.

Rev. George Gajdos will be the presider, and entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Newburg Fire Department.

The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.

Allen T. Hultman
Allen T. Hultman, 2, of Wisconsin Dells, formerly of West Bend, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital of Madison.
He was born June 26, 1998, in Waukesha, to Stacy N. Nixon and Thomas A. Hultman.

Survivors include his mother, Stacy Nixon and Martin Knezobich of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Caitlyn Nixon of Wisconsin Dells; maternal grandparents, Sue and Eric Erikson of Hustisford and Gail Nixon of Council Bluffs, Iowa; maternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Shaloinewicz of Park Falls; aunts; uncles; cousins; and other relatives.

He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of West Bend.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend.

Rev. George Mumm will officiate, and cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory of Fond du Lac, with interment of ashes in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials are appreciated.

Martha Ida Alma Derge
Martha Ida Alma Derge, nee Schreier, 103, of Slinger, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at the Hartford Care Center of Hartford.
She was born Oct. 19, 1897, in the town of Herman, Dodge County, to the late Jacob and Auguste (Kell) Schreier, and married Elmer Derge on April 24, 1918, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, town of Herman.

After their marriage the couple farmed in the town of Addison for over 30 years, then moving to Cedar Lake and later to Hartford.

She was a charter member of the Hartford Senior Friends, a member of St. Paul's Church in Slinger, and its Ladies Aid.

Her husband passed away in September of 1952.

Survivors include a daughter, Pearl Retzlaff of Hartford; a son, Dale (Gloria) Derge of Beaver Dam; a daughter-in-law, Rose Derge of Whitewater; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were two sons, Lester, in infancy, and Melvin, four brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild, Tim Mueller.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Slinger.

Pastor James A. Castillo will officiate, and cremation will take place at Parkview Cremations in Fond du Lac, with interment of ashes in Union Cemetery, Theresa.

Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials are appreciated to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church or to the Senior Friends in Hartford.

Raymond A. Wegmann
A funeral service was held on Tuesday at First Immanuel Lutheran Church for Raymond A. Wegmann, 77, who died on Oct. 21, 2000. Rev. Schwanz officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg. Burial was held at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg.
Mr. Wegmann was born Sept. 8, 1923 in Cedarburg, son of Edward and Alma (nee Dobberpuhl) Wegmann. He worked as a farmer and was on the Ozaukee County Fair Board for 30 years, the Ozaukee County Board, People to People, a Covered Bridge 4-H member and leader for many years. He was also head of maintenance of the fair grounds and was inducted into the State Association of Fairs Hall of Fame. He also attended First Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: sister Hildegard Wegmann; sisters-in-law Ruth Wegmann and Bruennhilde Wegmann.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, other relatives and friends.

William G. Konig
Funeral services were held Sunday at Schmidt-Bartelt Funeral Home in Mequon for William G. Konig, 89, who died on Oct. 18, 2000. Rev. Ronald Pinc officiated at the ceremony. Inurnment was held at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee. Shimon Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Konig was born Sept. 28, 1911 in Mineola, Long Island, N.Y. to William G. and Alma (nee Young) Konig. He married Lois Guenther on Dec. 28, 1974 at Mount Tabor Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

He retired from Haymen Manufacturing in 1980. He volunteered his time and talents as a pollworker in Mequon and a tutor at Vincent High School. He was a member and past president of the Milwaukee Astronomical Society and a member of the Mequon Board of Appeals for many years. He was a longtime member of the Ozaukee County Art Committee.

Survivors include: wife Lois of Mequon; sons William (Barbara) of Menomonee Falls and Russell (Judy) of Butler; daughter Carolyn (Wayne) Ingham of Colgate; grandchildren Michele, Michael and Kenneth Konig, Kristin (Tom) Wachs, and David and Mark Ingham; great-granddaughter Jessica Wachs; brothers Vincent (Marge) of Grafton, Robert (Kate) of Pound and Kenneth (Margie) Konig of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sister Alice Brixius of Milwaukee. He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Woodrow.

Sadie J. Hicks
A funeral service was held Monday for Sadie J. Hicks, 92, who died on Oct. 20, 2000. Rev. John Suelflow officiated at the ceremony, with Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton, assisting the family with the arrangements. Burial was held at Sixteen Cemetery in Thornburg, Iowa.
Mrs. Hicks was born June 23, 1908 in Westby, daughter of Ray and Bertha (nee Twinde) Noyes. She married Darwin Hicks and worked as a mail clerk for Cherry Electric Corp.

Survivors include: daughters Margaret Madsen of South St. Paul, Minn., Helen (Norbert) Feih of Grafton; sons Charles Prill of Casa Grande, Ariz., James Prill of Zion, Ill. and Richard (Lynda) Prill of Markesan; sister Helen Scarseth of La Crosse.

Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Darwin Hicks.
