Erwin W. Buss
TOWN OF TRENTON - Erwin Warber Buss, 88, of the town of Trenton, died on Saturday, March 29, 2003, at his home.

Private services will be held on Tuesday, April 1. The Rev. David Nottling will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Erwin was born on May 19, 1914, in the town of Trenton, the son of Edwin and Carrie (Warber) Buss. He was married to Mildred Brunn on April 27, 1940, at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Trenton.

Erwin farmed all his life in the town of Trenton. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church for 83 years. Later he became a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Fox Lake.

Survivors include two sons, Daryle (Nancy) Buss, town of Trenton, and Ronald Buss, town of Trenton; three grandchildren, Calvin Buss, town of Trenton, Jeffrey Buss, town of Trenton, and Brenda Buss, Beaver Dam; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Kyneesha, and Sierra; one sister, Constance Buss, Waupun; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded n death by his wife and his parents.

Friends may call on Monday, March 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun.

Gladys P. Feucht
LEROY - Gladys P. Feucht, 89, of the village of LeRoy, died on Friday, March 28, 2003, in Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lomira.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 1, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. The Revs. Charles Wester, Michael Wild and Robert Berghammer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew's cemetery, LeRoy.

Gladys was born on Feb. 8, 1914, in Knowles, the daughter of Adolph and Helen (Hefter) Lehman. She was married to Joseph J. Feucht on May 27, 1936, in St. Andrew's, LeRoy.

Gladys together with her husband, farmed in the town of LeRoy. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy and a member of Christian Mothers and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include five sons, Joseph (Gerri) Feucht, Las Vegas, Nev., Alan (Janet) Feucht, Waupun, Daniel (Caroline) Feucht, Lomira, Gerard (Candace) Feucht, LeRoy, Lewis (Shirley) Feucht, St. Cloud; six daughters, Carol (Glenn) Haddy, Mayville; Janet (Richard) Weiglein, Brownsville, Claudia (friend Bill Stern) Parsons, Clintonville, Marie (Robert) Wondra, Lomira, Teresa Ritger, Oak Park, Ill., and Christine (Kenton) Norskog, West Bend; one sister, Hildegard Lehman, Fond du Lac; one brother, Carl Lehman, New Holstein; 39 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2002; two sons, Thomas and Charles; four brothers; five sisters; one son-in-law, Roger Parsons, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call on Monday, March 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and on Tuesday, April 1, from 9:30 until the time of service at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy.

Memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Lois G. Hendrick
MENASHA Lois Geraldine Hendrick, 74, died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Menasha on Thursday, May 29, 2003.

She was born Lois DeBroux to George and Erna DeBroux on Oct. 3, 1928 in Green Bay.

Lois graduataed from Denmark High School and later from Marquette University with a dental hygiene degree. It was at Marquette where she met Dr. James Hendrick, whom she married on July 9, 1949. She worked many years with her husband in his dental practice in Waupun while raising six children. Lois was always very active and involved with her family and community. When her family was young she was a den mother with Boy Scouts and an avid supporter of her children's many sporting or musical activities. She and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling, spending time at their cottage, fishing and entertaining friends. Following her husband's death in 1987 Lois moved from Waupun and spent her winter months in Green Valley, Ariz., and her summers in Arbor Vitae. While continuing to support her children's and grandchildren's activities she also created new interests in Green Valley. Lois became an Elk, joined the American Legion Auxiliary, volunteered with the local fire department through the Tele-Car program, enjoyed learning about an creating many beautiful ceramic pieces, volunteered at the Titan Missile Museum and made many new friends.

Lois loved being with her family, traveling, reading, playing bingo and going to casinos. She loved meeting people and had a real gift for making people feel welcome. Whether she was on an airplane, attending church or at a doctor's office, she found someone with whom she connected - "a new friend." She will be dearly missed.

Lois is survived by her six children, James (Amy) Hendrick of Appleton, Steven (Young) Hendrick of Spring, Texas, Michael (Kay) Hendrick of Menasha, William Hendrick of Edgemont, S.D., Susan Hendrick of Thornton, Colo., and Debra (Ben) Adams of Menasha. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren, John, Andrew, Margaret, Alan, Jessica, Elizabeth, Adam, Rebecca, James, Michael, Abigail and Rachel; a sister Mrs. Frank (Donna) Emrick of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

Funeral Services for Lois Hendrick will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun with the Rev. Michael Moran officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Werner Harmsen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mildred A. Krause
Mildred A. Krause, 79, of the Beaver Dam Care Center, died on Friday, May 30, 2003, at the care center.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Rae Ann Bloomquist will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mildred was born on Nov. 17, 1923, in Iceledo, Ark., the daughter of Jessie and Millie (Hill) Bolin. She was married to Alfred Krause on Dec. 30, 1948.

Mildred was a graduate of Yellville High School, Yellville, Ark. During World War II, she worked in California as a supervisor at a naval depot. She later worked at Green Giant and the Cheeseman for many years. She enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, sports, playing cards, gambling and going on gambling trips. She also was known for being an excellent cook.

Survivors include four children, Robert (Jean) Krause, Karen Krause, Keith (Mary) Krause and Steve Krause, all of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Mark, Brandon and Megan Krause; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers and one grandson.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Wednesday, June 4, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, 109 N. Lincoln Ave., Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

Harold E. Cupery
WILMINGTON, Del. - Harold E. "Hal" Cupery, 87, of Wilmington, Del., died on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, from pneumonia.

A native of Friesland, Hal graduated from Randolph High School Class of 1937; attended Hope College and the University of Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Delaware. During World War II he was a chemist at the Kankakee ordnance plant and production supervisor at the Wabash River ordnance plant. Returning to the DuPont Experimental Station after the war, he worked in the Central Research Department where he took part in the early discovery of the urea herbicides. He was named inventor on several patents including one covering the process for the synthesis of the key intermediate to the drug "Symetrel." He finished his 37-plus-year career as a supervisor in the Pressure Research Laboratory in 1977. An avid gardener he also enjoyed woodworking, bowling and senior center activities. His memberships included Chem Vets, the DuPont Lawn Bowling Club, Fort Delaware Society, Sellers Senior Center for over 20 years, and Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 60 years.

Survivors include three son, Bruce M. and E. Nicholas, Wilmington, Del., area and Stephen Hurst, Florida; two granddaughters, and two great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor; four brothers, Nicholas, Martin, Rink and Peter, and three sisters, Jen De Young, Margaret Vander Hoek, and Josie Meekema.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends and relatives in Wisconsin and Delaware.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 2, at 1 p.m., with the service at 2 p.m., at the McCrery Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Del. Burial will be in Chester Bethel cemetery, Foulk Road, Delaware.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested that donations be made to Sellers Senior Center, 500 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19809, or Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th St., Wilmington, DE 19806.

Nancy J. Beyer
FREEMONT, Calif. - Nancy June Beyer, 65, of Freemont, Calif., died on Thursday, May 29, 2003, at home after a six month illness.

Nancy was born on Aug. 11, 1937, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Harry and Laura (Wollenburg) Beyer.

Nancy graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1955. She received her nursing training at Kenosha and worked at the VA Hospital in San Jose, Calif., before retiring several years ago.

Survivors include on brother, Burton (Elaine) Beyer; one niece, Julie (Dan) White and their children, Jenny and Matt; one nephew, Jeffrey (Laura) Beyer, and their son, Adam; all of Beaver Dam; other cousins; and special friends in California whom she regarded as family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Martha Beyer.

No formal funeral services will be conducted.

Margaret Savage
JUNEAU - Margaret Savage, 75, of Juneau, died on Monday, May 26, 2003, at the Clearview South Nursing Home, Juneau.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 2 p.m., at Clearview South Nursing Home, Juneau. The Rev. M. Eugene Kinney will officiate. Burial will be in St. Columbkille cemetery, town of Elba, Dodge County.

Margaret was born on July 17, 1927, in the town of Elba, Dodge County, the daughter of Thomas and Clara (Daley) Savage.

Margaret was a long time resident of the Clearview Nursing Home, where she was very active and helpful.

Survivors include three sisters, Suzanne Savage, Juneau, Patricia Savage, Fond du Lac, and Frances Motisi, Madison; one brother, James Savage, Oshkosh; one aunt, Florence Daley, Columbus; special friends, Beverly Luck, Horicon; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 29, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Clearview South Nursing Home, Juneau.

The Murray Community Funeral Home, Horicon, is serving the family.

Edward O. Brown Sr.
WAUPUN - Edward O. Brown Sr., 79, of Waupun, went to be with his Lord on Monday, May 26, 2003, at the Christian Home, Waupun.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Christopher Doerr will officiate. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca.

Edward was born on April 2, 1924, in Lock Haven, Pa., the son of Walter W. and Lillian (Meyers) Brown. He was married to Vern Thompson in 1945 in Berlin.

Edward and his wife spent most of their married life in the Waupun area. He spent most of his career as an officer with Wisconsin State Corrections in Waupun. After his retirement in 1979, he continued to work LTE as a captain at Taycheedah Corrections in Fond du Lac. He was a World War II veteran in the Army as part of the military police. He was an elder at the Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Waupun and its Men's Club. He was a devoted husband and father. Both he and his wife were avid travelers and especially liked going to Branson, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Vern, of the Christian Home, Waupun; one daughter, Anna Jane Brown, Juneau; one son, Edward (Vickie) Brown Jr., Fond du Lac; one stepdaughter, Stacy; two nieces, Debbie and Pattie, and one sister-in-law, Florence Brown, Williamsport, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Walter.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 29, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Friday, May 30, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Judith Williamson
Judith "Judy" Williamson, 62, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, May 26, 2003, at her home.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Emmanuel Udo will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Judith was born on Aug. 6, 1940, in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Fischer) Moritz. She was married to David Williamson on Nov. 5, 1960, in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Judith was a graduate of the Providence High School in Chicago, Ill. She graduated from the St. Vincent Hospital training program for nursing, and worked at St. Ann's Hospital in Chicago for a number of years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and was an active volunteer for the church. She also had volunteered at the Hillside Hospital for many years.

Survivors include one daughter, Laura (fiance Greg Siehr) Williamson, Green Bay; one son, David (Beth) Williamson, Antioch, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Sean and Allisa Williamson; her parents, Elmer and Irene Moritz, Beaver Dam; good friends, Virginia Plageman and Jerry Busby, both of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her husband, David on Nov. 9, 1995, and one infant sister.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 29, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to Hillside Hospice Program of Beaver Dam.

Donald D. Dorn
FOND DU LAC - Donald D. Dorn, 68, of 490 Maona Ave., Fond du Lac, died on Monday, May 26, 2003, at his home.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 30, at 6 p.m., at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac. The Rev. David Redman will officiate. Cremation will follow traditional services.

Donald was born on Feb. 24, 1935, in Beaver Dam, the son of Alvin R. and Sarah (Jones) Dorn. On Aug. 26, 1961, he was married to Janice L. Klas in Beaver Dam.

Donald was a member of Our Saviour Ev. Lutheran Church. He was formerly Fond du Lac Branch manager for Mercury Marine, retiring in February 1998, after 40 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He was a member of the Mendota Club.

Survivors include his wife, Janice; one daughter, Lori (William) Veness; one son, Daniel Dorn, all of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Ryan Dorn, Hunter, Kassidy and Parker Veness; two brothers, Alvin (Ione) Dorn, Appleton, and Gordon (Phyllis) Dorn, Marlboro, Md., and one sister, Sally Dorn, Beaver Dam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Thomas and Dudley.

Friends may call on Friday, May 30, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.Legacy.com.
