Phyllis Ann Collins, 85, of Parkersburg,
passed away March 11, 2013, at Camden Clark
Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1927, at Seymour, Ind., a
daughter of the late Samuel F. and Bernice
White Hodapp. Phyllis was a graduate of
Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg,
was a member of the Stout Memorial United
Methodist Church, and was a homemaker. She was
also a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #11
of the Order of the Eastern Star and Chapter Z
PEO of West Virginia, the Friends of
Blennerhassett, and the Parkersburg Art Center.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip R. (Betsy)
Collins of Staunton, Va., and Rodney A. (Lisa)
Collins of Sterling, Va.; four grandchildren,
Andrew (Holly) Collins, Craig Collins, Erica
Collins and Brian Collins; two great-
grandchildren, Oliver Phillip Collins and
Patrick Benjamin Collins; and a sister, Mary
Jane Gertsch of Greenville, S.C. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her husband, Roy Clemith Collins, in 1991.
The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m.
Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th
Street, Parkersburg, with Rev. Paul Russell
officiating, and burial will follow at Mt.
Olivet Cemetery. The visitation will be 2-4
p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, and 9:30 a.m. until
service time Thursday.
Robert M. Hornbeck Jr.
Parkersburg, WV
Robert M. Hornbeck Jr., 55, of Parkersburg,
passed away March 10, 2013, at home.
He was born Feb. 19, 1958, at Parkersburg, a
son of the late Robert M. Hornbeck Sr. and
Bettie Irene Foggin Hornbeck. He had formerly
worked at Sears, as a Truck Driver, and was
most recently employed by McDonalds. He had
served with the West Virginia National Guard,
and was proud of his former service with the
Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathy Hornbeck
Farnsworth and Ginny Hornbeck. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by two
brothers, Steven Hornbeck and an infant
brother; and one sister, Connie Buffington.
The family will receive visitors noon- 1 p.m.
Thursday at the Chapel of Sunset Memory
Gardens, with burial to follow.
Kimes Funeral Home is assisting the family
with arrangements.
Sharon (Poke) Rowley Sullivan
Beverly, OH
Sharon (Poke) Rowley Sullivan, 66, of Beverly,
Ohio, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Feb. 25, 2013, at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Parkersburg, a
daughter of the late George W. and Maxine
Willis Rowley.
Sharon was a 1964 graduate of Williamstown
High School and member of Pine Grove Baptist
Church. She was a beautician having worked at
the Merchant of Venus and Hair Fazes, and
owned her own shop, Height of Fashion. She was
a former employee of Photo 1 and Century 21 as
a real estate agent. Sharon enjoyed shopping,
toll painting and traveling.
Surviving is her fiance and the love of her
life, Don Reynolds; her daughter, Mendi
(Stephen) Gardner of Grafton, W.Va.; one
sister, Regina (Mike) Roush of Waverly; a
nephew, Andy (Theresa) Roush of Bridgeport;
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by an infant brother, Roger Rowley.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor Chad Mugrage will
officiate and burial will follow at Willow
Island Cemetery. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. today
and one hour prior to service Thursday.
Memorial donations may be made to the National
Kidney Foundation or the American Heart
Association.
William Everett Reynolds
Parkersburg, WV
William Everett Reynolds, 87, of Parkersburg,
passed away Feb. 21, 2013, at the Arbors of
Marietta, Ohio.
He was born in Roane County, a son of the late
General Floyd and Zella Santee Reynolds.
Everett was a retired Truck Driver as a mail
contractor.
Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Walker Reynolds;
one son, Dusty Reynolds; three daughters,
Robin Cox, Claudia Reynolds and Jennie Butler,
all of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; one step-
grandchild; 17 great-grandchildren; two step-
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Freda
Wells of Walker, W.Va. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by two
brothers, Herb and Lee Reynolds.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m.
Monday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor John Barker will
officiate, and burial will follow at the
Hebron Church Cemetery at Speed, W.Va., in
Roane County. The visitation will be 5-8 p.m.
Sunday.

Edna Bell Starks
Edna Bell Starks, 67, of Harrisville, departed
this world Feb. 21, 2013, at the Camden Clark
Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at
the First Assembly of God, Harrisville, W.Va.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to
Kimes Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Parkersburg.
Jean Ann Buckley
Parkersburg, WV
Jean Ann Buckley, 84, of Parkersburg, passed
away Feb. 15, 2013, at her home.
She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Belpre, Ohio, a
daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Nolan
Root, and stepdaughter of the late Nellie Root.
Jean was a longtime member of Camden Avenue
Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Belpre
High School, and had formerly worked for the
State Department of Washington, D.C., Kaiser
Aluminum, Miller's Accounting Services, Astorg
Accounting Services, and American Express. She
and her husband had owned and operated the
Sunshine Car Wash on Division Street for
several years.
Surviving is one son, David Ray Buckley of
Tokyo, Japan; two daughters, Belinda Bee
Buckley and Karen (John) Life, both of
Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Jessica
(Jeremiah) McKenzie, Jana (Jeremy) Myers,
Charles David (Tanya) Buckley and Sarah
Katherine Buckley; two great-grandchildren,
Chase Buckley and Caleb Limbauch; and one
sister, Charlene Bell of Belpre.
In addition to her parents and stepmother, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond
Edward Buckley in 1973; a brother, Robert
Root; and a sister, Billie Mulligan.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Evangelist John Rockhold and Mr.
Walter Morgan will be speaking, and burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Tuesday.
