Ethel Mildred Dye, 89, of Hanover, WV, formerly of Clothier, WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on November 4, 1918 at Mohawk, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Frank and Amanda (Collins) Lewis.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert H. Dye, her six sisters: Etta Carper, Gertrude Lockhart, Oretta Shull, Pearl Riffe, Marie McCoy, and Eva Buchannon; and her three brothers: Arthur, Kyle, and John Franklin Lewis.
Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Clothier, WV.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Ethel are her two nieces: Brenda (Greg) Gent of Cyclone, Cathy (Butch) Cline of Hanover with whom she had made her home with for the past several years, also two special great-nieces, Sam Chapman and Amanda Hatfield, many grand-children and great-grandchildren, also other family and friends who loved her dearly.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 24th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Diamond Carter officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Madison, WV. Family and friends served as pallbearers, with Honorary pallbearers: Butch Cline, David Endicott, Jack O`Dell and Chip O`Dell.

Charles William Noe, 80, of Gilbert, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from Trinity Health Care of Logan, WV.
Born on May 20, 1928, he was the son of the late William 'Bill' and Martery (Whittaker) Noe.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Thompson) Noe; his brother, Franklin Noe; his sister, Anna Lee Ellis; his great-grandson, Stevie Joe Browning; and his great-granddaughter, Sabrina Browning.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the Navy, he was also a member of the Gilbert Baptist Temple.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Charles are: his four daughters: Sandra Sue Toler and Vickie (Steve) Browning both of Gilbert, Lola (Ray) Fuller of Isaban, and Sherry (Steve) Cline of Baisden, his eight grandchildren; his thirteen great grandchildren; his one great grand-child; his brother, Harold Noe of Gilbert; his two sisters, Pauline (Tennis) Hatfield of Gilbert and Carol (Don) Roberts of Santa Clara Utah; and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Friday, June 20th from 6 to 9 pm.
Funeral services were held at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening, June 20, 2008 at 7pm, with the Rev Ronnie Lester and the Rev Joe Lester officiating. Cremation followed the services.

Leland Justice, 40, of Baisden, departed this life on Monday, June 16, 2008, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born on February 4, 1968 at Man, to Harlan and Arvilla (Cline) Justice.
Preceding him in death was: his paternal grandparents: Lonnie & Liddie Justice; his maternal grandparents: Phil & Hattie Cline; his brother, Sheldon Todd Justice; and a special niece, Cassidy Faith Justice.
Leland loved to hunt. He loved animals, especially dogs, chickens, and deer, and he loved to ride his 4-wheeler. He was of the Church of God Faith.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Leland are: his parents, Harlan and Arvilla Justice of Baisden; his sister, Melissa (Jeff) Carter of Baisden; his brother, Derek (Danielle) Justice of Baisden; his five nieces; his nephew; and a host of family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends call at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, on Thursday, June 19th after 6:00 pm. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 20th, at the Full Gospel Church of God with the Rev. Jonas Trent and the Rev. Learmon Mounts officiating. Burial followed in the Phil Cline cemetery at Baisden. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Arthur Donald Stanley, 82, of Gilbert, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 14, 2008, from Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan WV.
He was born on January 17, 1926 at Red Jacket to the late Hollis and Belle (Ferrell) Stanley.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: an infant son; one sister, Savannah Steward; two brothers: Wesley and Alex Stanley; and two grandchildren: Douglas and Gregory Dowdy.
Arthur was a veteran of the US Navy, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Prophetic House of Prayer at Rossmore.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Arthur are: his loving wife of 47 years, Eunice (Hatfield) Stanley of Hampden; his two daughters: Jeanette Stanley Elkins of Omar, and Tina Maria Stanley of Hampden; his son, Michael Stanley (Sharon) Stafford of Logan; his three grandchildren: Amy Elkins (Larry) Adkins of Omar, Brian (Kelly) Dowdy of Dunbar, and Leigh Dowdy of Holden; his six great grandchildren; a very special friend, Stewart Justice of Justice Addition; and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Monday, June 16th from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert with Bishop Madison Ooten and the Rev. Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Hatfield cemetery at Sharon Heights, Hampden, WV. Military grave rite services were performed by the Disable American Veterans Chapter #141 of Belfrey Kentucky. Friends of the family served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were: Clayton Meade, Sam Hatfield, Stewart Justice, Joe Eugene Bragg, Big Jim Hatfield, and Jeremiah Hatfield.

Frank James Blankenship, 32, of Christian departed this life June 5, 2008 from his residence.
He was born on June 17, 1975 at Man, to Jessie Earnest 'Bazz' Blankenship and Brenda Wolford.
Preceding Frank in death were: an uncle, JimBo Wolford and an aunt, Emma Wolford.
Frank loved hunting and being with his family and friends.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Frank are: his mother, Brenda Wolford; his father, Jessie Earnest "Bazz" Blankenship; his girlfriend, Mindy Laffue of Hanover; his daughter, Emma Blankenship of Wharncliffe; his two brothers; Jessie J Blankenship of Varney and Drewey Blankenship of Augusta GA; his half 'sister, Jessica Blankenship Trent of Baileysville; his step-sister, Chasity Frances of Nicholas County; his step-brother, Richard (Bucky)Thomas of Panther; his six uncles: Junior, Cab(Bonita), William(Carolyn), Junior(Sarah), and Charles Wolford, and Ricky Hatfield; his four aunts: Tracy Castle, Cricket Trent, Judy Cline, and Carol Browning; his grandparents; Drewey and Annie Wolford of Varney, and Dallas and Shelby Jean Hatfield of Hampden, and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden on Monday, June 9th after 6:00 pm.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on June 10th at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer with the Rev. Diamond Carter, Rev. Jonas Trent, and the Rev. Carl (Cab) Wolford officiating. Burial followed in the Wolford cemetery at Sharon Heights.
Pallbearers were Jamie Wolford, Sambo Wolford, Gary Wayne Blankenship, Drewey Blankenship Daniel Johnson, Steven Wolford, William Wolford, and Charles Wolford. Honorary pallbearer was Jessie Blankenship.

Michael David Kennedy, 37, of Simon, departed this life on Monday, June 2, 2008, at his residence.
He was born on August 21, 1970 at Mullins to Doris Delena (Lester) Kennedy and the late Arlin Jay Kennedy, Sr.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one niece, Cassondra Ellen Bledsoe.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Michael are: his loving mother, Doris Kennedy; his daughter, Samantha Lynn Kennedy; his son, Michael David Kennedy, Jr., all of Simon; his brother, Arlin 'Jayboy' (Bridgett) Kennedy of Oak Hill; his four sisters: Sarah Bennett and Millie (Steve) Hatfield, both of Simon, Arlene (Doug) Waldon of Bluewell, and Libby (Allen) Hatfield of Coal Mountain; his six nieces: Crystal (Vince) Kennedy, Lorrie and Angela Hatfield, all of Simon, Marie Kennedy of Coal Mountain, Vannessa Files of Oak Hill, and Mariessa Hazelton of Pineville; his nephew, William Butler of Coal Mountain; his five great nephews: Payton Bledsoe of Brenton, Blake Bledsoe of Oceana, Luke Hatfield of Parkersburg, Dalton Walls of Simon, and Dakota Toler of Branchland; his great niece, Brianna Toler of Branchland; and a host of family and friends. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Friends called at the Coal Mountain Community Church at Coal Mountain on Thursday and Friday, June 5th and 6th after 6:00 PM. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM at the Coal Mountain Community Church with the Rev. Andy Bo Kennedy and the Rev. Roy Lee Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in the Milty Morgan cemetery at Long Branch of Simon. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Carrie Marie Perry, 84, of Justice, passed over to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from her residence following a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 18, 1924, at Gilbert, she was the loving daughter of the late Glover Cleve and Sarah (Musick) Carter.
In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Vergil Perry; her beloved son, Franklin James Perry; her six brothers: Charlie, Ezra, George C., Cecil, Grover, and Everett 'Bud' Carter; and her four sisters: Mary, Martha, Mattie (Carter) Adkins, and Geneva Carter.
Carrie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sprattsville Freewill Baptist Church.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Carrie are: her three loving daughters: Lois Romaine (Roy Lee) Lester and Edna Loretta (Duranny) Walls, both of Justice, and Wanda Gail (Harry D.) Cline of Baisden; her sister, Virginia (Nathan) Simpson of Justice; her daughter-in-law, Millie Perry of Justice; her two grandsons: Scott Lester and Nicholas Cline; her four granddaughters: Lisa Perry, Cindy Thomas, Angie Lester, and Kimberly Osborne; her twelve great grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 4th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Johnson, Rev. Denny May, and the Rev. Scottie Dingess officiating. Burial followed in the Nathan Justice cemetery at Justice. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Clyde Alfred Eggleston, 68, of Monroe Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, October 2, 2008.
Born on August 11, 1940, in Greenbrier County WV, he was the beloved son of the late Earnest and Bertha (Bryant) Eggleston.
Funeral services were held at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home in Monroe on Friday, October 3rd at 5 pm with the Rev. Billy Autry and the Rev. Jake Davis officiating.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Clyde are: his loving wife, Judy Darlene Carter Eggleston of Monroe GA; his two sisters: Dora Long of Loganville and Helen Gross of Gilbert; his brother, Jimmy Eggleston of White Lake MI; and a host of family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, October 5th from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 6th, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Lee Lester officiating. Burial followed in the Blue Ridge Memorial Garden at Beckley. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
