HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Andrew Forrest Boarman, 87, of Hedgesville, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 11, 1911, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late William M. and Ada Stump Boarman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Tyson Boarman.
He was a retired barber and a banjo craftsman.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was a member of UCT and Red Men's Lodge No. 84 in Williamsport.
He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Dayley of Hedgesville; four sons, Vincent Boarman and Forrest Boarman, both of Hedgesville, Donald Boarman and Robert Boarman, both of Falling Waters, W.Va.; a brother, Anthony Boarman of Bedington, W.Va.; 18 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Wright and Margaret Smallwood; and a brother, William Boarman.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, W.Va. The Revs. John V. DiBacco Jr. and John E. Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hazel M. Baker
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Hazel M. Baker, 76, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Dec. 20, 1922, in Loudoun County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Catherine Talton Wenner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Baker.
She was a Lutheran.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine V. Cross of Frederick, Md., and Nina M. Delp of Martinsburg; a son, Albert M. Baker of Powhatan, Va.; a sister, Virginia Longerbeam of Charles Town, W.Va.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Beamer; and a brother, Lester Talton.
Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. James D. Riley Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
E. Eugene Stanley
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - E. Eugene Stanley, 80, of Shepherdstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, at his home.
Born March 3, 1919, in Vancleavesville, W.Va., he was the son of the late Daniel Worth and Mary Susan Powell Stanley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Canby Stanley.
He was a 1937 graduate of Martinsburg (W.Va.) High School.
He was a farmer.
He attended First Baptist Church in Martinsburg.
He is survived by two daughters, Joyce S. Thornton of Shepherdstown and Harriet E. Hachen of Martinsburg; two sons, Charles W. Stanley and D. Michael Stanley, both of Shepherdstown; one sister, Christine Tabler of Martinsburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred Stanley, David Stanley and Julian Stanley.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood cemetery, Shepherdstown. The Rev. Christopher D. Fowler will officiate.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - M. Louise Siler, 87, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, at her home.
Born April 1, 1912, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Sylvester and Nannie Louise Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Siler.
She was a 1929 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
She was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Waunita L. Siler, Barbara E. Jones, Linda L. Carter and Ann M. Armentrout, all of Martinsburg; three sons, Joseph Guy Siler of Concord, Calif., J. Franklin Siler and Wayne L. Siler, both of Martinsburg; one sister, Marguerite Fritts of Martinsburg; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Byers; and an infant brother, George S. Myers.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. John R. Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Katherine M. Lowther, 77, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.
Born Oct. 23, 1921, in Gerrardstown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John Luther and Annabelle Weidman Aikens.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Lowther.
She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School.
She had retired as owner/operator of Martins Beauty Shop.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She was a member of Golden Rule Chapter 69, O.E.S.
She is survived by three brothers, Max R. Aikens of Gerrardstown, and John L. Aikens and B. Robert Aikens, both of Martinsburg; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia Jean Benner and Mary V. Abrell; and one brother, Willard F. Aikens.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.
