BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Constance Marie Fouke, 74, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, May 17, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1924, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Madeline Karle Gruber.
She attended Hagerstown High School.
She retired as a secretary with her husband at the family business, Fouke Chevrolet, Hancock. She was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Russell Fouke Jr.; one daughter, Ann L. Fouke of Arlington, Va.; two sons, Randall R. Fouke of Berkeley Springs and Ronald L. Fouke of Killingsworth, Conn.; one sister, Betty A. Kershner of Warrenton, Va.; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Gruber.

Ramon Fuentes
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Ramon Fuentes, 77, of Martinsburg, died Friday, May 14, 1999, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born Jan. 26, 1922, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Flor and Asuncion Oliver Fuentes.
He was a retired self-employed electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Irizarry Fuentes; three daughters, Elsa Torres of Philadelphia, Magali Fuentes of Ranson, W.Va., and Dora Cavanaugh of Elizabeth, N.J.; two sons, Raymond Fuentes of Hayward, Calif., and Wilfredo R. Fuentes of Odessa, Texas; 24 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. John Ledford will officiate. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ocea J. Richardson
SUMMIT POINT, W.Va. - Ocea Jean Richardson, 69, of Summit Point, died Saturday, May 15, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born Nov. 26, 1929, in West Glade Run, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roland and Wilda L. Wolfe Buzzard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Richardson, in 1993.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Summit Point United Methodist Church.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by four sons, Benjamin M. Richardson of Summit Point, David H. Richardson and Craig D. Richardson, both of Manassas, Va., and Garth D. Richardson of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; a brother, Keith O. Buzzard of Ford City, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry E. Buzzard and William C. Buzzard.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Summit Point United Methodist Church. The Revs. John Lewis and Charles Frum will officiate. Burial will be private.
There will be no visitation.

MIDDLEWAY, W. Va. - Harry Lester Shirley Jr., 48, of Middleway, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born May 23, 1950, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of Helen Viands Longerbeam of Charles Town, W.Va., and the late Harry Lester Shirley Sr.
He was a 1969 graduate of Charles Town High School.
He was employed with Citizens Communications in Charles Town for 30 years.
He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, Ranson, and attended Bethel Assembly of God, Martinsburg.
He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 2035 and was a member of National Rifle Association.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Connie Louise Miller Shirley; three daughters, Lisa M. Fraley of Middleway, Sherry N. Shirley and Krista J. Shirley, both at home; one son, Sean C. Burton of Hedgesville, W.Va.; two sisters, Judy Mills and Debra Breeden, both of Hidden River, W.Va.; three brothers, Robert Shirley, Donald Lee Shirley and Charles Shirley, all of Hidden River; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 114 S. Fairfax Blvd. in Ranson. The Rev. William Reed and the Rev. Keith Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery.
Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town.

Norma J. Hoover
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Norma Jean Starliper Hoover, 57, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at her home.
Born Oct. 17, 1941, in Cherry Run, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Marshall F. and Margie Lee Litten Starliper.
She attended Pleasant View School in Morgan County, W.Va.; and was a graduate of Marriott Corporation Management School in Washington, D.C.
A seamstress, she had worked with Londontowne Manufacturing in Hancock and Perfection Garment Co. in Martinsburg, W.Va. She also was a homemaker, wallpaper hanger and had been a waitress at Maria's Garden in Berkeley Springs.
She was a member of Cherry Run United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Herbert Lee Hoover; one daughter, Margie Lee Hoover McCumbee of Berkeley Springs; two sons, Herbert Lee Hoover Jr. of Martinsburg and Daniel Alan Hoover of Berkeley Springs; five sisters, Mary Apple of Cherry Run, Dorothy Stuckey of Martinsburg, Sarah Clark, Oleta Cain and Betty Silvers, all of Berkeley Springs; three granddaughters; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Violet Householder, Nancy Weicht and Mattie Bohrer; and three brothers, Marshall Starliper, Harry Starliper and Billy Seckman.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Spohrs Crossroads, Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Dan Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs, and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the church. The funeral home will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Evelyn Hilliard Stipp, 80, of Kearneysville, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Dec. 7, 1918, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Myrtle Rockwell Kearns.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Kearneysville Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Edgar Stipp of Shepherdstown; two daughters, Linda Johnston of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Kaye Manor of Kearneysville; two sons, Donald L. Hilliard of Hagerstown and William N. Hilliard of Pikeside, W.Va.; two sisters, Irene Warfield and Margaret Weller, both of Martinsburg; a brother, Roger Kearns of Martinsburg; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Walters; and a sister, Hilda Leonard.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel, 2060 Rosedale Cemetery Road, Martinsburg. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
