CLIFFORD HAND
SYLACAUGA — Clifford Hand died Feb. 11 at Bill Nichols Veterans Home in Alexander City.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga.

WILLIE MAE HATCHETT
SYLACAUGA — Graveside service for Willie Mae Hatchett, 79, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Fayetteville Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating.
Mrs. Hatchett died Feb. 11 at Coosa Valley Nursing Home in Sylacauga. In her later years, she was a nutritionist at Sylavon Towers.
She is survived by one son, Mike Hatchett of Bessemer; one daughter, Barbara Brewer of Sylacauga; one brother, Lender Hutchinson of Sylacauga; four grandchildren, Kelly Brewer, Chris Hatchett, Hillary Neel and Lee Hatchett; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga will direct the service.

THEDFORD J. HOLLIS
RAGLAND — Graveside service for Thedford J. Hollis, 80, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Forest Crest Cemetery with Dr. T. Keith Hollis and the Rev. William David Johnson officiating.
Mr. Hollis died Feb. 10 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham. He was a resident of Birmingham for 40 years and had lived in Ragland since 1994. He was employed by Thomas Foundry for 15 years before retirement. He was a veteran of World War II while serving in the Army and he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie L. Hollis of Ragland; one daughter, Phyllis A. Archer of Cullman; two sons, Thedford Hollis Jr. of Ragland and Jimmy Hollis of Rye, Texas; two sisters, Lou Vinnie Hollis Russell of Fultondale and Betty Jean Hollis Phillips of Cullman; two brothers, Voyed Hollis of Locust Fork and James Hollis of Centerpoint; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

ROSALIE JACOBS
VINCENT — Rosalie Jacobs, 76, died Feb. 11 at Medical Center East in Birmingham.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel.

BERTHA MAE LEDLOW
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Bertha Mae Ledlow, 74, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in Evening Star Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Ledlow died Feb. 9. She was a lifelong resident of Pell City, was retired from Avondale Mills in Pell City with 42 years of service and was a Baptist by faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha Ann Ledlow of Pell City; three sisters, Ila Belle Gardner and Nancy Ann Gardner of Vincent and Martha Sue Walker of Pell City; one brother, Elex Leon Merrill of Leesburg, Fla.; three grandchildren, Farrah McCutcheon, Sherri Schatzer and Scott Schatzer; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lauren and Gavin; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alex Walker, Ronnie Walker, Mark Molson, Lloyd Williams, Danny Williams and Ronald Underwood.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

IRENE R. MEADS
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Irene R. Meads, 81, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery in Alexandria.
Mrs. Meads died Feb. 9 at her residence.
She is survived by six sons, Alfred Meads of Sylacauga, Ernest Meads of Texas, Milton Meads of Hollins, Johnny Meads of Tampa, Fla., Larry Meads of Tampa, Fla., and Clifton Meads of Sylacauga; two daughters, Mary Jones of Sylacauga and Betty Parker of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Era Dunnam and Edna Landers of Sylacauga; 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.

LULA McKENZIE
TALLADEGA — Lula McKenzie, 90, died Feb. 10 in Alpine.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sims Funeral Service.

MATTIE McNEAL
ALEXANDER CITY — Mattie McNeal died Feb. 10 at Russell Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wright’s Funeral Home.

CLAUD MILAM
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Claud Milam, 79, was Monday at Usrey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Granville Gauldin officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Milam died Feb. 9 at Talladega Health Care Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, was retired from Bemis Company and was owner of Milam Grocery. He was a veteran of World War II and was a Baptist by faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Wood of Huntsville; two sons, Claud Thomas Milam of Talladega and David E. Milam of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Mildred Hammonds of Sycamore, Janie Hendrix of Goodwater and Louvenia Smith of Baltimore, Md.; his companion, Lois Murray; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harry Joe Milam, Jerry Milam, Robert Milam, Lane Milam, Terry Milam, Ray Milam, James Milam, Gene Milam, Wayne Fulmer, Roy Fulmer and Jimmy Fulmer.
Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.

RUTH DAVIS MYERS
VINCENT — Funeral service for Ruth Davis Myers, 78, was Monday at First Baptist Church in Vincent with the Rev. Cullen and the Rev. Lindy Martin officiating. Burial was in Elliott Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers died Feb. 8.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Kincaid, Terry Kincaid, Robert Kincaid, Lloyd David, Jimmy Davis and Gary Couch.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.

BERDA ESTELL HORTON PEARSON
FAYETTEVILLE — Funeral service for Berda Estell Horton Pearson, 93, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. David Mann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Pearson died Feb. 9 at Coosa Valley BMC. She was a member of Fayetteville Methodist Church, worked at Watson’s Department Store in Sylacauga, Old House Antiques in Talladega and Outlet Store in Sylacauga. She was a native of Shelby County, was a well-known seamstress and was an honorary member of Mid-Alabama Museum Railroad.
She is survived by three sons, Billy B. Pearson of Alexander City, Andrew Blois Pearson of Oak Grove and Robert Harold Pearson of Fayetteville; one daughter, Sara Pearson Dye of Lake Jackson, Texas; 38 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Travis Brooks, Mike Pearson, Kent Pearson, Duane Smith, Jeffie Sims and Sam Pruett.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.

PEYTON JACKSON
PRESSLEY JR.
TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Peyton Jackson Pressley Jr., 75, was Monday in Oak Hill Cemetery with Dr. George Ricker officiating.
Mr. Pressley died Feb. 9 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Northside Baptist Church, where he attended the Terry Beverly Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was well known for his dealings in the furniture industry. He was a member of Talladega Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Rice of Dublin, Va.; two brothers, Johnny Pressley of Talladega and Reginald Pressley of Tocoa, Ga.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.

EVA LEE SMITH
MUNFORD — Funeral service for Eva Lee Smith, 81, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Curtis Collett and the Rev. Noris Wade officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Feb. 10 at Citizens BMC. She was a native of Clay County, had lived in Munford most of her life and was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Joyce Lewis, and a son, Thomas Finch.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Smith of Munford; three daughters, Betty Carr, Patsy Johnson and Linda Golden of Munford; two sons, Robert Wayne Smith and Jackie Roy Smith of Munford; one sister, Reatha Campbell of Ashland; one brother, Alvin Crawford of Alexander City; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Lloyd, Allen Collett, Tommy Smith, Dennis Smith, William Carr and Jimmy Collett.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.

FRANCES C. TURNER
EASTABOGA — Frances C. Turner, 82, died Feb. 10.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in Anniston.

LINDSEY SHARON MARIE WILLIAMS
LINCOLN — Funeral service for infant Lindsey Sharon Marie Williams, 6 1/2 months, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Larry Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The infant died Feb. 10 at Citizens BMC.
She is survived by her mother, Julia Williams of Lincoln; her father, Robert Green of Pell City; one sister, Lauren Williams of Lincoln; and her grandparents, Suzanne and Donnie Williams of Lincoln, Sharon McLain of Pell City and Robert Green of Pell City.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
