White
CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- Mary Maude Shaver White, 87, of Cherokee Village died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif.
Born at Nelsonville in Sharp County, she was a member of Hardy Church of Christ for more than 70 years. She was a graduate of what was then Arkansas State College and taught school at Hardy and at Highland High School.
She also worked in real estate for Cooper Communities in Cherokee Village and was a member of the Timely Club of Hardy. In addition, she was active in General Federated Women's Club and had served on the Sharp County Library Board.
She was recognized for her teaching, her work in business and her service to people in the Spring River area with the E. Wilson Green Award, a Woman of the Year in Business award and a Teacher of the Year award. She also was named Realtor of the Year.
Survivors include a daughter, Jill Howard White Roberts of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; a sister, June Shaver Koorstad of Hardy; and three grandchildren, Clifford W. Roberts III of Los Angeles and John Roberts and Caitlin Roberts, both of Corona Del Mar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Howard White, and her parents, Robert Edwin and Hassie Mildred Street Shaver.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel at Highland, with Bobby Garner and Johnny Carter officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Kensett Cemetery
east of Searcy.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Beadles
PARAGOULD -- Pauline Beadles, 93, of Paragould died Saturday, Nov. 20, at Paragould Nursing Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould.
Coleman
BLYTHEVILLE -- James Aubrey Coleman, 84, of Blytheville died Friday, Nov. 19, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East at Memphis.
Born at Cleveland, Miss., he lived in the Blytheville area most of his life. He was retired from Randall Co. and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie M. House Coleman of the home; three sons, James Edward Coleman of Tyronza, James Ronald Coleman of Blytheville and Kenneth Wayne Coleman of Tomball, Texas; three daughters, Barbara Sue Mueller of Rochelle, Ill., Brenda Joyce Hardy of Memphis and Shirley Ann Coleman of Blytheville; one sister, Inez Pruitt of Blytheville; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Dailey
PORTIA -- Mildred "Ma" Dailey, 84, of Portia died Friday, Nov. 19, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Born at Portia, she lived in West Memphis before moving back to Portia 25 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of the Portia Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Milligan of Portia; one sister, Mardell Teel of Walnut Ridge; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Dailey; one daughter, Sue Campbell; one brother; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Blair Stowers, Harold Stowers, Scott Campbell, Mark Richey, Josh Callahan, Jerry Milligan and Steve Gattis.
Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Deems
PARAGOULD -- Julia Marie Deems, 71, of Paragould died Friday, Nov. 19, at her residence.
She lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a retired teacher having taught for 34 years, mostly at Valley View, and was a graduate of Greene County Tech and Arkansas State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Paragould and camp director at Mount Zion Baptist Camp for girls for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Larene Vasarhely of Parker, Ariz., and Julia Ann Jenkins of Jonesboro; three brothers, Charles Dunham of Smackover, Winfred Dunham Jr. of Montgomery, Ala., and Wayne Dunham of Bolivar, Mo.; five sisters, Wilma Hughey of West Memphis, Anna Sparkman of Rock Island, Ill., Vera Mitchell and Ruth Terrebonne, both of Paragould, and Loeta Friend of Bolivar; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Nellie Marie Holland Dunham, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scott Neathery officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery
under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Willard Lowell Glasgow, 81, of Jonesboro, who died Thursday, Nov. 18, will be at 2 p.m. today at Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
The Rev. Glen Putman will officiate and burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Aric Keller, Bron Glasgow, Tommy Elkins, Tom Kirksey, Clayton Fletcher and John Elk.

WARM SPRINGS -- Jimmy D. Goodman, 43, of Warm Springs died Friday, Nov. 19, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born at Pocahontas, he was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Bean of Paragould; one son, Jonathan Bean of Paragould; two sisters, Shirley Quest of Rochelle, Ill., and Cathy Pacilli of Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Wayne Goodman of Rockford, Ill., and Dan Goodman Jr. of Warm Springs; and one half brother, Travis Gates of Byron, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Goodman and Ruth Crider Gates Goodman, and four half brothers.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Warm Springs Cemetery, with Rick Anglin officiating. Cox-Waymon Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Halk
CHELSEA, Mich. -- Olive Anastasia "Ann" Halk, 83, of Chelsea, formerly of Jonesboro, died Friday, Nov. 19, at Chelsea Retirement Community.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and volunteered with St. Bernard's Medical Center Auxiliary and the American Red Cross.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Thomas Halk of Kansas City, Mo., and Edward Louis Halk of Sunnyvale, Calif.; two daughters, Kathryn Ann Welch of Dexter and Patricia Ellen Vuz of Carrolton, Texas; and five grandchildren, Nathan Halk, Erica Halk, Joanna Halk, Emily Aker and Austin Vuz.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Vic Stepka officiating. Burial will private.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Little
J. Hardy "Bud" Little, 91, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Nov. 20, at NEA Medical Center.
He was a lifelong Jonesboro resident, businessman and civic leader and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He owned and operated the Jonesboro Roller Mill and Purina Feed Store for several years before becoming a vice president for Citizens Bank of Jonesboro.
He attended the University of Arkansas and was a 1935 graduate of what is now Arkansas State University.
A member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, he served there as a deacon, choir director and was a member of the Roy Jolly Sunday school class.
He was a past president of the Jonesboro Rotary Club and a past board member of the Jonesboro Country Club.
He was a member of the Jonesboro Elks, Catfish Club, Ducks Unlimited, Big Island Hunting Club and served on the Jonesboro City Council and the Jonesboro School Board.
Survivors include two sons, Hardy Little III and Bill Little, both of Jonesboro; a daughter, Toni Lilley of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren, Lorinda McMillian, Jim Little, Adele Caemmerer, Leah Jackson, Katie Melton, Tracy Little, Carly Williams and Willie Little; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Little, and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery
under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will include Willie Little, Tracy Little, Jeff Jackson, Mark Melton, Zach Williams and Jim Little.
