KEOTA — Donna Belle Condo, 64, of Keota died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Cave City. She was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Canadian, Texas. She was a homemaker, a farmer, a member of Home Community Education Club of Star Community and a member of First Baptist Church in McCurtain.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in McCurtain with burial at Stigler cemetery in Stigler under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
She is survived by a daughter, Annetta Maupin of Cave City; a son, Dale Kennedy of Keota; a sister, Betty Shaw of Keota; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry and Brooks Shaw, Brian Bursan, Tim Johnson and Lloyd and Wayne Mayhall.

Teddy Ayala
KEOTA — Teddy J. Ayala, 75, of Keota died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Keota First Assembly of God with burial at Old Cache cemetery in Keota under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; five daughters, Lisa Stricklin of Stigler, Rosa McClary and Theresa Hays, both of Keota, Melissa Pemberton of Sallisaw and Lacey Nixon of McCurtain; two sons, Alonzo Ayala of Stigler and Quincy Ayala of Keota; a sister, Violet Ortega of Bakersfield, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Othel Gamble Jr., Rich DeShazo, Rick DeShazo Jr., Jimbo Hammontree, Lonnie and Tracy Rust.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Peggy Hamlin
STIGLER — Peggy J. Hamlin, 65, of Stigler died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, in Holdenville.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Hoyt cemetery in Hoyt under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by a brother, J.B. Hamlin of Stigler.

Samuel Allen Jr.
POTEAU — Samuel Allen Jr., 80, of Poteau died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Monroe. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an aircraft machinist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Assembly of God in Poteau with burial at Oakland cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was survived by his wife, Wanda; a son, Jimmie Johnson of Poteau; a stepdaughter, Sharon Broussard of Louisiana; two stepson, Patrick Nelson of California and Michael Nelson of New York; two sisters, Wanda James and Verna Hughes, both of Poteau; and seven grandchildren.

Kenneth Jones
WALDRON — Kenneth Richard Jones, 79, of Waldron died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Waldron. He was a retired water department supervisor, a lifetime member of Waldron Masonic Lodge, past patron of Mount Fern Chapter No. 62 of Georgetown, Calif., a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner of Ben Ali Temple of Sacramento, Calif., and a member of Waldron Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Patsy Estey and Teresa Jones, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Joyce Green of Fayetteville, Barbara Ronny of Berea, Ky., Sherry Spencer and Brenda Blanton, both of Waldron; two brothers, Jo Keith of Sacramento and David Jones of Boles; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Chester Kozal
ALMA — Chester R. Kozal, 73, of Alma died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in a local hospital. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, an Air Force veteran, and was a deacon at Wood Memorial Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Harry of Muldrow and Pamela Chapin of San Diego; two sons, David Kozal of Dora and Chris Kozal of Lavaca; a sister, Virginia Tyron of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, John Kozal of Holland, Mich., and Jerry Kozal of Wyoming, Mich.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Renfro, Greg Chapin, Billy Hover and Bill Brown.

Elza Pitts
ROLAND — Elza Wayne Pitts, 79, of Roland, formerly of Jay, Okla., died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003. He was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Jay, Okla. He was a retired oil field worker.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. today at Zena cemetery in Zena, Okla., under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Carter of Muldrow and Connie Jackson of Muskogee, Okla.; a sister, Betty Burtnett of Jay, Okla.; two brothers, Jim Pitts of Colbert, Okla., and Jack Pitts of Jay, Okla.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Delbert Warlick
SPIRO — Delbert Warlick, 75, of Spiro died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a member of Spiro First Baptist Church and the VFW Post No. 4884 in Spiro.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spiro First Baptist Church with burial at New Hope cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Cynthia Rogers of Spiro; a son, Michael Warlick of Fort Smith; a sister, Melba Parham of Fort Smith; a twin brother, Gilbert Warlick of Pocola; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rogers, Garrison Warlick, Kevin Parnell, Jerry Matlock, Bill Bartholomew, Harvey Shoate, Tommy Price and James Delt.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rethel Hurlocker
HOWE — Rethel Hurlocker, 89, of Howe died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1914, in Scott County. She was a homemaker, a member of Poteau Church of Christ and the widow of Claude Hurlocker.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poteau Church of Christ with burial at Monroe cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean Shelton of the home, Grace Napier of Hartford and Sybil Earnhardt of Poteau; three sons, Richard Hurlocker of Howe, Jess Hurlocker of Central City, and Jim Hurlocker of Fort Smith; a sister, Ethel Tanguay of Palmdale, Calif.; a brother, A.B. Sykes of Odessa, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 43 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Barbara Porter
Barbara Lou Porter, 69, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in a nursing home. She was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Oklahoma. She was co-owner of City Fire Extinguisher Company and of the Baptist faith.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. The body was cremated.
She is survived by a daughter, Gayla Largent of Memphis; two sisters, Roleta Burrows of Van Buren and Billie Grice of Houston; and two grandchildren.

Christine Roberts
EAKLY, Okla. — Christine Roberts, 80, of Eakly, Okla., formerly of Heavener, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, in Eakly. She was a homemaker, a member of Baptist Church in Heavener and the widow of Clifford Roberts.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount View cemetery in Glendale, Okla. under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Trujjello of Eakly and Violet Mendenhall of Hartford; a son, Ernest Roberts of Eakly; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Travis Lewallen, Ray McGarrah, Paul and Johnathon Mendenhall and Charles Sweeney and Pete Underwood.

Joyce Phillips
WALDRON — Joyce Evelyn Phillips, 68, of Waldron died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Little Rock. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Waldron, the Rockette Breakfast Club, the Adult III Sunday school class and the widow of Vernon Phillips.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial at 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Little Rock.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Gates of Mount Vernon, Julia Massey of Little Rock and Sherry Lopez of Palm Springs, Calif.; three sisters, Daisy Fryar of Waldron, Sharon Petit of Wenatachee, Wash., and Maggie Ellis of Federal Way, Wash.; a brother, Ray McKinney of Springdale; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 3 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Paul Ely
Paul “P.K.” Ely, 70, of Fort Smith died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was an independent insurance agent and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Lewis of Fort Smith; a son, Tom Ely of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don and Scott Sarnes, Weston and Gregory Ely, Stan Miller and Doug Cross.

Randy Stewart
CLARKSVILLE — Randy Eugene Stewart, 36, of Clarksville died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in his home. He was in food service at Conagra.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Annies Chapel cemetery in Lamar.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; a stepdaughter, Megan Brown of Clarksville; a stepson, James Stewart of Clarksville; two sisters, Ruby Stewart of Clarksville and Becky Brown of Hunt; three brothers, John Stewart of Jonesboro, Willis and Jack Stewart, both of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Jame Kotch, Gary Yarbrough, Billy Heil, Jack Heil Jr. and Donavon Stewart.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ivan Paulson
SALLISAW — Ivan Paulson, 83, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, in Sallisaw. He was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Dwight, Kan. He was a retired lieutenant from the Navy after 30 years, active in the VFW Post No. 4518 and was former post commander. In the Navy, he was active in three wars, World War II, Korea and Vietnam, saw action in Guadalcanal, Bougainville, Gilbert and Marshall Islands, Iwo Jima, South Korea and South Vietnam, received the American Defense Service Medal with star, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one silver star, three Bronze stars, Victory Medal World War II, China Service Medal, Navy Occupation Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
The body will be cremated under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, David Paulson of San Diego; three sisters, Virgie Pfantz of Baldwin, Kan., Vinita Green of Prescott, Ariz., and Dorothy Feist of Longmont, Colo.

Floyd Bohannon
POTEAU — Floyd Henry Bohannon, 71, of Poteau died Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Muskogee, Okla. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a machinist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Marylee; a daughter, Linda Babcock of Tulsa; a stepdaughter, Karen Tucker of Poteau; two sisters, Lucy Morgan of Virginia and Emma Pruett of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two brothers, Benjamin Bohannon of Sand Springs, Okla., and Elijah Bohannon of Caney, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Orville Benson
HEAVENER — Orville Benson, 82, of Heavener died Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was a member of the Assembly of God and the widower of Vernice Benson.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today at First Assembly of God in Heavener with burial at Oakdale cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
He is survived by a daughter, Martha Lemmons of Heavener; a son, Raymond of Heavener; a sister, Dena Stacy of Shady Point; four brothers, Delmer, J.C., D.B. and James, all of Heavener; and one grandchild.
