Adron Agee
Adron Agee, 64, of Sherwood, died April 16, 2005. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, was a retired police officer from the Little Rock Police Dept., and a business owner in North Little Rock. He was a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Ella Mae Conrad; son, Greg Agee; daughter, Deborah Dynek, all of Sherwood; brothers, Robert Agee of Sherwood, and Hoyt A. Agee, Jr., of DeBerry, TX; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral service was held April 20 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood. Burial followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Feed the Children.

Gordon Nesbit
Gordon Davis Nesbit, 80, of Sherwood, died April 14, 2005.
He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1965 and went on to a career as a meat cutter.
Survivors include sisters, Connie Gwatney of North Little Rock, and Louise Vandegrift of Sherwood; brothers, Charles Nesbitt and Boyd Nesbitt of Winslow.
A funeral service was held April 19, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed at Arkansas State Veterans cemetery in North Little Rock.

Pete Burrow
Pete Burrow, 74, died April 12, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Burrow; daughters, Terry Lovell of Sherwood, Connie Poppleton of Livingston, TX, and Diane Robinson of Texas City, TX; two grandchildren; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 15 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, TX. Burial was in the Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska, TX.

Lynda Easter
Lynda McBryde Easter, 64, of Little Rock, died April 18, 2005.
She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Rex M. Easter, Sr.; daughter, Jennifer of Prosper, TX; son, Rex Easter, Jr., of Sherwood; mother, Lorane McBryde of North Little Rock; sister, Jean Pamplin, III, of Bryant; sister Joan Townsend of Pine Bluff; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock on April 20.

Interment was at Memorial Park cemetery in White Hall.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Health Hospice, St. James United Methodist Church, both of Little Rock, or Creede Repertory Theater, 124 N. Main Street, P.O. Box 269, Creede, Colo. 81130.

William D. Hawking
William Douglas Hawking, 76, of Sherwood, died April 17, 2005.
He was the president of Styleline Windows and Doors, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Margaret; sons, David of Little Rock, Peter of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael of North Little Rock, and John of Sherwood; and nine grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, or to The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 21, at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Matthew A. Mitchell
Matthew Alan Mitchell, 18, of Sherwood, died April 17, 2005.
He was a 2004 graduate of North Little Rock High School. He was a freshman at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and a member of Eighth Street Baptist Church, North Little Rock.

He is survived by his parents, Archie and Beverly Mitchell; brother, Marcus Mitchell, of Sherwood; grandparents, Deborah and James Martin of North Little Rock, and Mable and Archie Mitchell, Jr., of North Little Rock.

Funeral services will be Fri., April 22, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 811 S.A. Jones Dr., in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21, at Eighth Street Baptist Church, 821 North Hickory, in North Little Rock.

Reginald Martindale
Reginald D. Martindale, 45, of North Little Rock, died April 13, 2005.
He is survived by his children, Reginald II, LaShonda, Latoya and Ashley Martindale, Todd and Malika Davenport, and Joshua White; brothers, Mark and Matthew II, Martindale, all of North Little Rock; sister, Pamela Martindale Boles of Sherwood; and grandmother, Velma Johnson.

Funeral services were held April 18 at Full Counsel Christian Fellowship in North Little Rock. Interment followed at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.

Hope Andrews
Hope Henry Andrews, 83, of Sherwood, died April 19, 2005/
She is survived by her sons, Mark and Mike; and grandchildren.
She was a nurse, lab tech, and doctor’s assistant.

She attended Sylvan Hills Community Church and First Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County in Little Rock.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thurs., April 21, Griffen Leggett Rest Hills Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Fri., April 22, at 2 p.m. with interment following at Rest Hills cemetery.

Debbie J. Johnson
Debbie J. Johnson, 44, of Walnut Ridge, died July 23, 2004, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

Born at Three Oaks, Mich., she had moved to Arkansas in early life. She was a homemaker and lived in Bay before moving to Walnut Ridge.

Survivors include her husband, James Johnson; a daughter, Ora Mae Reeves, Bay; three sons, John Emerick, Terry Moody and Sherman Keyes, all of Walnut Ridge; her mother, Ora Mae Ward, Texarkana; three brothers, Steve Emerick, Bay, Donald Emerick, Texarkana, and Jeff Emerick, Texas; two sisters, Betty Jones, Texarkana, and Karen Cutright, Byhalia, Miss.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral was Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the House-Gregg Chapel with Rick Anglin officiating. Burial was in Homestead cemetery, near Pocahontas, under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jeff Olson, Nick Troutman, Monte Caldwell, Robert Beard, Benji Rice and Chris Troutman.

Lula Mae Huckaby

Lula Mae Huckaby, 82, of Beebe, died Oct. 26, 2005.
She was of the Christian Faith and had a knack for quilting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorcas Darlene Head of Sherwood; sons, Troy Neal Huckaby of Elkhart, TX, and Jerome Lewis Huckaby of Decatur, AL; sister, Louise Cordel of Bath Springs; brother, Alfred Williford of Bath Springs; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sat., Oct. 29, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bishop Jerry Johnson officiating.

Interment followed in Chapel Hill Memorial Park cemetery in Jacksonville.

Velma C. Coney

Velma C. (Mobbs) Coney, 96, of Little Rock, died Oct. 25, 2005.
She is survived by her sons, B.G. Coney of Little Rock and C.L. Coney of Sherwood; daughter, Betty Jo Cates of Cross Plains, TN; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Oct. 31 in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Bill Hennis

Bill Hennis, 80, of Sherwood, died Oct. 27, 2005.
He served in the Air Force for 26 years and the Air National Guard for 10 years. He was a member of the Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church of Sherwood for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy Emogene Hennis, of Sherwood; sister, Elizabeth Walters of Houston, TX; brothers, Richard Hennis of North Little Rock and Paul Hennis of Nashville, TN.

Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Arkansas State Veterans cemetery.

Eusebio Z. Salinas

Eusebio Z. Salinas, 91, of Sherwood, died Oct. 27, 2005.
He was a migrant worker.

He is survived by Esmeralda Calzada of Sherwood.
Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.

Ronald E. Rydel, Sr.

Ronald Eugene Rydel, Sr., 58, of Sherwood, died recently. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Rydel of Sherwood; two children, Lorraine May Mathys of Sherwood; and Ronnie E. Rydel Jr. of North Little Rock; brother, Mark Rydel of Sherwood; three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1910 N. Grant, Suite 1-A, Little Rock, Ark., 72207.

There will be a private service requested by the family. Services provided by Griffin Leggett Rest Hills.

Mary Sue Raymer

Mary Sue Raymer, 81, of New Edinburg, died Oct. 28, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harold Raymer; sons, Glynn of Garland, TX, Bob of Sherwood, and Paul Raymer of Griffin, GA; sister, Betty Moseley of New Bern, NC; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 30, at Frazer's Chapel.

Burial was in the Shady Grove cemetery near New Edinburg.
