Linda Laura Anderson, 53, of Jacksonville died Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Anderson; daughters, Laura Jones of Cabot, Heather Anson of Sherwood and Jennifer Anderson of Jacksonville; sisters, Alice Mast and Amy McLaughlin, both of Ohio; three grandchildren; adopted brother and sister, Larry and Dee Dee Hibbs of Jacksonville.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel.

Mabel Irene Moran
Mabel Irene Moran, age 84, died April 21, 2003.
She was a member of Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Moran Sr. of Scott: two sons, Wilber Moran of Plumerville and Bill Moran Jr. of Dennard; four daughters, Annabelle Crain of Witter, Betty Moran of Plumerville, Eleanor Johnson of Scott and Mildred Lannom of Carlisle; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Toltec Baptist Church with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery
by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Lonnie Williams Jr.
Lonnie Williams Jr. of Hazen died April 13, 2003.
He served as a police officer for several years.
Survivors include daughters, Sonya, Lonny and Barbara; 10 grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
Graveside services were Friday at Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarendon, by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Pearl C. Helms
Pearl C. Helms, 81, of Little Rock, formerly of Almyra, died Friday, April 25, 2003.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors are sons, Mike Helms of Little Rock and Martin F. Helms Jr. of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Sherry Black of Humphrey; brothers, Paul Crouch of Independence, Mo., and James Crouch of Ashdown; a sister, Hazel Crouch of Des Arc; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart. Memorials may be made to CARTI in Little Rock.
Beryl Lisenby Miles
Beryl (Jerry) Lisenby Miles, 88, of North Little Rock, died April 19, 2003. She was born at Carlisle. She was a Baptist and taught 10-year old boys in vacation bible school for years.
Survivors are one son, Walter J. (Buddy) Miles; one daughter, Linda Sue Lewis, both of North Little Rock; four grandsons, two great-granddaughters, four great-grandsons.
Funeral was April 22 at Faith Baptist Church, North Little Rock, with burial at Edgewood Memorial Cemetery, North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist building fund of Baptist Hospice.
Guy Corter
Guy Corter, 72, died April 22, 2003.
He was a member of Brownsville Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his wife, Flossie Sexton Corter of the home; children, Tony Corter of Carlisle, Rick Corter of Viola and Alice Cartwright of Viola; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, William and Paul Corter of Mountain View; sisters, Dessie Moody of Trumann and Gwen Thompson of Batesville.
Funeral was Thursday at Immanual Baptist Church in Carlisle, with Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke in charge.
Committal service was held at Levisy Flat Cemetery
in Mountain View.
Loyd Henry Hicks Jr.
Loyd Henry (Bo) Hicks Jr., 64, of Lonoke died April 28, 2003.
He was retired from Ben M. Hogan Construction Co. after 37 years, and also worked for Ammonia Hold Inc. in Lonoke.
Survivors are his sister, Jemima S. Parnell of Lonoke.
Graveside service was April 30 at Lonoke Cemetery

Olden Murry, 80, of De Valls Bluff, owner and operator of Murry’s Catfish Restaurant, died Monday, April 21, 2003.

Mary Carpenter Lowe
Mary Carpenter Lowe, 46, of Stuttgart died Oct. 27, 2002.
She was of the Pentecost faith.
Survivors are a son, Christopher Wayne Shirley of Hot Springs; her mother, Iness Carpenter of Carlisle; brothers, R.L. Carpenter of Stuttgart, Buford Carpenter of Furlow; and Don Carpenter of Little Rock; and a sister, Rona Jean Persons of Stuttgart.

Robert Billingsley Sr.
Lieutenant Colonel Robert Earl Billingsley Sr., U.S. Army Retired, age 71, of Little Rock died Oct. 21, 2002.
After serving in the United States Air Force during the
Korean War, he made his career in the United States Army. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he had a total of 32 years military service. He was a member of the Parkway Place Baptist Church in Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jo Dye Billingsley; a son, Robert Earl Billingsley Jr. of Fayetteville; daughter, Barbara Billingsley of Little Rock; son, Mike Billingsley of Cabot; daughter Kathy Harrill of North Little Rock; son, Mark Billingsley of Little Rock; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral service was Oct. 24, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with full military honors was in Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery
in North Little Rock.

Lerlene Elizabeth Whitfield, 94, of Oak Harbor, Wash., formerly of Jacksonville, died Oct. 18, 2002.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons, Ronnie Whitfield of Cabot, Jerry Whitfield of Foxworth, Miss., and Larry Whitfield of Duck Hill, Miss.; daughters, Opal Bourbon of Hillsboro, Mo., Patricia Pirtle of Counce, Tenn., Barbara Bailey of Oak Harbor, Wash., Vetrice Vickers of Jonesboro, Mae Whitfield of St. Louis, Mo., and Virginia Quinn of Caruthersville, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Oct. 23 in Caruthersville, Mo., with a memorial service Oct. 26 in Oak Harbor. Burial was in Maple Cemetery, Caruthersville. Burley Funeral Home of Oak Harbor was in charge of arrangements.
Adrianne White
Adrianne White, 16, of Cabot, died Oct. 23, 2002.
She attended Living Waters Church of Cabot.
She is survived by her mother and father, Rhonda and Bill White; sister, Ashley White; grandmother, Floy White of Greers Ferry; grandparents, Tab and Martha Gates of Quitman.
A memorial service was held Oct. 26, at Living Waters Church, Cabot.
