Donald "Don" C. Livermore,8l, passed away on July 10th, 2003 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born August 3rd, 1921 in Madison, Wisconsin to Clairence O and Maybelle C. (Robbins) Livermore.

Don moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 10 1/2 years ago from Alhambra, CA. He was a graduate of Alhambra High School, served proudly in the U.S.Coast Guard, WWII participating in 5 invasions, last of which was D-Day Normandy and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 9401. Don worked as a brick mason foreman for J.T. Thorpe, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA; for 35 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 6l years Jeanne White Livermore of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons Steven W. Livermore and wife Barbara of Julian, CA; Scott D. Livermore of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Lucinda L. Arline of Portland, OR; sister Nancy L. Higbie of Arcadia, CA; grandchildren, Troy Livermore, Joy Morefield, Michelle Livermore, Danny Lopez, Damen Lopez, Aubrey Koonce, Sarah Livermore, Monika Livermore, Jeremy, Zachery and Mikaela Arline; great grandchildren Alan and Riley Morefield, Jake, Nathan, Sophie and Olivia Lopez.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City Az. 86405.

Arrangements were entrusted by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

James S. Barrett, 9l, passed away on July 14th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 8th, 1912 in Maynard, Iowa

James moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 9 years ago from Paradise, CA; He was a self-employed turkey farmer in Riverside County, CA; for 25 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lydia Barrett of Lake Havasu City, Az;

Funeral services will be held at Seventh-day Adventist Church on Wednesday, July 16th, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Gale Rocky officiating. Graveside will take place on Thursday, July 17th, 2003 at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in Hemet, CA.

Delores Ora Gorey, 75, passed away July 12, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to M.H. & Delores (Miller) Martin on February 6, 1928 in Bakersfield, California.

Delores moved to Lake Havasu 14 years ago from Whittier, California. She was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star, Occident Chapter #160 in Downey, California, Grand Esther and Indiana Grand Representative.

She is survived by her loving family, son, Mathew Adams Gorey and his wife Heather of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Linda A. Miller and her husband Michael of Lebanon, Oregon and Melody M. Wilson and her husband, Jim of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.

Roy C. Boyce Jr. 76, passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 14th, 2003. He was born on August 19th, 1926 in Waterbury, Vermont to Roy C. Boyce Sr. and Margaret A. "Bushway" Boyce.

Roy worked as an electrical contractor for 50 years at IBEW-Crockett Electric in Concord, California. He is a proud veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict in the US Navy. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 15 years ago from Benicia, California. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 56 years, V.F.W., the American Legion, 1st Worthy President for the Eagles Aerie #4299, and Elks for 32 years.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Alice "Morin" Boyce of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, son Daryl J. Boyce of the Delta Area, California, four grandsons Thomas and Dustin Vargas and Jason and Ryan Boyce. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy C. Boyce Sr. and Margaret Boyce and daughter Margaret Ann Heilesen.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday August 3rd, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eagles Aerie #4299, 1561 Marlboro Dr. Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Hospice of Havasu, P O Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405-0597 or Eagles Aerie #4299, 1561 Marlboro Dr., Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 86403.

Byron Mills, 59, a former Colorado resident and Viet Nam Veteran went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 15, 2003.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Mills, a son Chad Mills, two daughters, Tylene Howell and Holli Melroy, three brothers, Doug Mills, Mason Mills and Tim Mills, two sisters Pat Chirtmore and Kathy Addis and seven grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to ALS Foundation.

Visitation will be on Monday July 21, 2003 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 P.M. at the Newcomber Family Mortuary, 7277 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood, Colorado 80215. Interment to follow at 1:30 P.M. at Golden Cemetery, Golden, Colorado.

Daniel Francis Girard, 58, passed away July 16, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Alvarez Girard and Elizabeth (Cook) Soden on October 10, 1944 in Long Beach, California.

Daniel made Lake Havasu his home 6 months ago, moving to Arizona 2 years ago from Oroville, California. He was a self employed painter for 30 years.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Soden; sons, Jeff, Tom and Dan Girard; longtime companion, Kimberly Horton; brothers, Julian, David and Noel Girard; and three grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Gerald Marlin Gotch, 71, passed away July 12, 2003 in Needles, California. He was born to Albert & Berniece (Jones) Gotch on March 3, 1932 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Gerald moved from St. Paul, Minnesota 20 years ago to Golden Shores, Arizona where he owned Gotcha Garbage for 5 years. He was also a proud veteran in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Mr. Gotch is survived by his loving family, sons, Tom Gotch of Cumberland, Wisconsin and Robert Gotch of St. Paul, Minnesota; daughter, Laurie Gotch of St. Paul, Minnesota; brothers, Howard Gotch of Golden Shores, Arizona and Robert Gotch of Sterling Heights, Michigan; sisters, Shirley Randall of Lake Havasu City, Mary Jane Brown of Fontana, California, Peggy Sherman of Winnetka, California, Joann Roberts of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Carol Campbell of Fort Bragg, California. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Elmer Gotch of St. Paul, Minnesota; mother, Berniece Marie Jones Gotch of Lake Port, California; two brothers, Paul and Donald Gotch and one sister, Lois Armstrong of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the V.F.W. Post #6306 in Golden Shores, Arizona. Commander Jake Jacobs will officiate and the V.F.W. Post will hold full military honors.
