Robert William Barnes, 63, passed away November 22, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Henry & Helen (Young) Barnes on November 4, 1940 in Bethlehem PA.

Robert moved to Lake Havasu 22 years ago from Bethlehem, PA. For several years he was a self employed landscaper, some of that time was working with the London Bridge Golf Course.

Robert was a proud veteran in US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the London Bridge Golf Club, the American Contract Bridge League and the Havasu Duplicate Bridge Club.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of almost 19 years, Nancy; son, Charles Bowman of Bethlehem, PA; daughter, Kathy Heffner of Mertztown, PA; aunt, Mary Pemberton of Kingman, AZ and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in his parents Henry & Helen Barnes and one brother, Henry Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. Donation envelopes are available at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Joan L. Lindsey, 69, passed away peacefully November 20, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to George & Genevieve (Redington) Trehearne on September 25, 1934 in Phoenix, AZ.

Joan has been a resident of Arizona all of her life, moving to Lake Havasu 10 years ago. Joan attended St. Mary’s grade school and high school in Phoenix and then went on to Mt. St. Mary’s college in Los Angeles, CA for two years. For ten years, she and her husband owned and operated their own poultry business in Phoenix, AZ.

Joan was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. She was a great homemaker, loved cooking, traveling in her motor home and enjoyed spending time on the computer.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 48 years, James Lindsey; sons, Gary Lindsey and his wife Patty of Phoenix, Robert Lindsey and his wife Michelle of Lake Havasu, Jim Lindsey Jr. and his wife Kim of Phoenix, George Lindsey and his wife Trisha of Phoenix; two daughters, Deanna Gray and her husband Ron of Phoenix and Linda Highland, also of Phoenix; brother, Robert Trehearne and his wife Judy of Pinetop, AZ. She will also be dearly missed by her 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild and four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in by her father, George who passed in 1987; mother M. Genevieve who passed in 1990 and one brother, Roland Trehearne who passed in 1987.

A visitation will be held, Sunday, November 23 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with the Rosary at 6:30 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, November 24, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Fidelis Igwenwanne will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the American Lung Association, 102 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85003.

Joan loved her children dearly and always wanted the best for them.

Norma E. Johnson, 81, passed away on November 14th, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on September 1st, 1922 in Adair, Iowa.

Norma moved to Lake Havasu City 1 ˝ years ago from San Bernardino, Ca. She worked as an office manager for Maynard C. Johnson Plumbing & Heating in San Bernardino, Ca; for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s odist Church, American Business Women’s Assoc; Citrus Belt Women’s Bowling Assoc. Hall of Fame.

She is survived by her daughters Cheryl J. Stanislawski and husband David Schumacher of Lake Havasu City, Az; sister Elizabeth Stoy of Kansas City, Ks. She was preceded in by her husband Maynard C. Johnson who were married on December 19th, 1943 in San Bernardino, Ca.

A funeral service will be held at Montecito Chapel in San Bernardino, Ca; on Friday, November 21st, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Fred Mumford officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

John Fred Bagent Sr., 89, passed away on November 16th, 2003 at Heritage House in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on April 2nd, 1914 in Newark, OH.

John moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 25 years ago from Newark, OH. He worked for Kaiser Aluminum in Newark, OH; as a Calculator Analyst. He was a Neighborhood Watch Captain and past member of the Elks Lodge #2399 in Lake Havasu City, Az.

He is survived by his son John Bagent Jr. of Lake Havasu City, Az; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Lakeview Community Church on Friday, November 2lst, 2003 at 10:00 am with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az; 86405.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Dorothy Lorene Donnel, 82, passed away November 18, 2003. She was born to Roy & Iva (Perry) McKelvy on April 2, 1921 in Marlow, OK. Dorothy died in peace and with dignity at her daughter’s home in Lake Havasu City.

Dorothy made Lake Havasu her home 7 years ago, moving here from Gold Beach, OR. She loved quilts, crafts and going to yard sales. She loved people and never met a stranger.

Dorothy is survived by her beloved family, son, David Lee Key and his wife Pat of Banning, CA; daughters, Geri Leipart and her husband Charles of Lake Havasu, Peggy Williams and her husband Tom of Banning, CA and Claudine Roglin and her husband Leon of Post Falls, ID; sisters, Cora Miller of Yucaipa, CA, Frances Brown of Tahlequah, OK and Ruth Cornwall of Lubbock, Texas. She will also be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 24, 11:00 AM at Frederick Memorial Cemetery in Frederick, OK.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.

Florence Irene Reed, 89, passed away on November 14th, 2003 at Lake Hills Inn in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on November 7th, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Ut.

Florence moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 3 years ago from Rogue River, Or. She worked as a bookkeeper for 15 years.

She is survived by her niece Jan Markham of Lake Havasu City, Az.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Wilbur “Bud” Meacham, 78, passed away on Sunday, November 16 at his winter home in Lake Havasu City. His home was in Emily, Minnesota. He was born April 8, 1925 in Osseo, Minnesota.

Bud was a proud World War II veteran. He loved music and was accomplished on the accordion and frequently entertained groups at Prestige Assisted Living at Smoketree and the Senior Center in Parker. He especially enjoyed playing at “Pickin and Grinnin” at the Islander RV. He also attended the Emily United odist Church.

Bud is survived by his beloved wife, Maryetta Meacham; son, James Meacham and his wife Mary of Emily, MN; daughter, Darlene Glenn and her husband Jim of Crosby, MN; one sister, Dora Mae Wagenbach of Remer, MN; two granddaughters and a great grandson.

He was preceded in by his first wife, Donna; his parents, Emerson Meacham and Mayme Rhodes and two brothers.

A memorial services and graveside interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date in Emily, MN.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
