Wilma Brookbank Tracey

At the request of the family, there will be no services for Wilma Brookbank Tracey, 79, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Tracey died Sept. 12, 2000, in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born May 4, 1921, in Pendelton, Ind., she lived in Fairfield for the past three years.

Mrs. Tracey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Stephanie of Fresno; son, Fred Patrick of San Jose; and grandson, Sean Michael of Fresno.

Arrangements are being handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Adolf Ambord

A memorial mass for Adolf Ambord, 92, of Fairfield was conducted Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mr. Ambord died Sept. 20, 2000, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a short illness.

Born Oct. 5, 1907, in Switzerland, he lived in Fairfield for the past year and had been a resident of Oakland. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and worked in various fields during his lifetime.

Mr. Ambord is survived by his wife, Encarnacion of Fairfield; daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Russell Reed of Vacaville; and sister, Lina Walben of Switzerland. He also had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Daniel Wesley Baldwin

A Celebration of Life for Daniel Wesley Baldwin, 43, of Clear Lake, will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ, 165 Leisure Way.

Mr. Baldwin died Sept. 23, 2000, at his parent's home after a long illness.

Born Nov. 12, 1957, in Loma Linda, he resided in Clear Lake. He was co-founder of Sierra Pacific Mobile Home Services, Inc. and All-Season Vinyl. He attended Vacaville High School.

His love for music led him to establish several West Coast bands and to Nashville, Tenn., where he recorded several albums and singles. His wonderful voice is silenced, but its memory will be with us forever.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Bronda; daughter, Nicita of Clear Lake; stepson, Hyrum Gray of Missoula, Mont.; his parents, Robert and Laverna of Vacaville; brother, Michael and his family of Redding; sister, Cherrie Fick and her family of Suisun; sister, Linda Held and her family of Vacaville.

Arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society.

Marie J. DeAngelo

A funeral will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. for Marie J. DeAngelo, who died Sept. 24, 2000, in Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was 101.

The Rev. William Feeser will officiate the mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be private in Trenton, N.J., where Mrs. DeAngelo will be buried next to her husband.

Mrs. DeAngelo lived in Vacaville for the past four years. She was a retired saleswoman for Bambergers of Trenton, N.J.

Mrs. DeAngelo is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Filipponi, of Vacaville; a son, Joseph DeAngelo, of Trenton; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson Ave., Vacaville.

Dala Singh Dosanjh

A funeral for Mr. Dala Singh Dosanjh, 46, of Fairfield, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Baker Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Dosanjh died on Sept. 22, 2000, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Vallejo, after a short illness.

Born on June 24, 1954, in Dosanjh Kalan, Punjab, India, Mr. Donsanjh lived in Fairfield for the past 23 years. He worked for C&H Sugar Company for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ranjit Donsanjh of Fairfield; son, Daljeet Donsanjh of Fairfield; daughters, Pardeep and Randeep Dosanjh of Fairfield; father and mother Karnail and Mossanjh of Yuba City; and brothers, Parmijit, Joginder and Armarjit Dosanjh of Fairfield.

Virginia G. Eleopoulos

A funeral for Virginia G. Eleopoulos, 86, of Fairfield, will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St's. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1224 Alabama St., Vallejo.

Father John B. Konugres will officiate. Interment will follow in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Eleopoulos died Sept. 24, 2000, in NorthBay Medical Center after a short illness.

Born Nov. 24, 1914, in Kansas City, Mo., she resided in Fairfield for the past 21 years. She had been a bookkeeper for 12 years for Jodamic, a family business, as well as being a good homemaker and loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Philoptochos women's charity group of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Mrs. Eleopoulos is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Steve Drosos of Walnut Creek; daughter, Carolyn Ann of Fairfield; son, Louis M. of Martinez; son and daughter-in-law, George and Christine of Fairfield; brother, Peter Glenos of South Lake Tahoe; four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Friends may call for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Nadeau Family Funeral Home. A Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Eleopoulos' name to St's. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1224 Alabama St., Vallejo, 94590.

Sandra Grimm Hancock

Memorial services for Sandra Grimm Hancock, 61, of Fairfield, will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church.

Father David Cavanagh will preside.

Mrs. Hancock died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, in Fairfield following a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Inurnment will be private.

Born in Indio, Mrs. Hancock lived in a number of Southern California cities before moving to the Fairfield-Suisun area in 1946.

A graduate of Armijo High School and Oregon State University, she was a former Worthy Adviser of Rainbow Girls and a past president of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at Oregon State. She was a past president of the Napa-Solano Women's Dental Auxiliary, and also volunteered for the Inter Community Hospital Guild.

She worked locally as a dental receptionist, most recently for Antonio Zarate, D.D.S., and previously for her husband, Michael E. Hancock, D.D.S. prior to his retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Micheal; mother, Mary Grimm of Susiun Valley; son, Todd Hancock of Concord; daughter, Stephanie McCommon of Vacaville; brother, Larry Grimm of Woodinville, Wash.; sister, Julie Bell of Glendale, Ariz.; granddaughters, Adriane Hancock of Concord, and Melissa, Sarah and Alicia McCommon of Vacaville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or NorthBay Hospice.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Charles Albert Layne

Graveside service for Charles Albert Layne, 85, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. Interment will follow with full military honors.

Mr. Layne died Sept. 22, 2000, in Laurel Creek Health Care Center after a long illness.

Born July 12, 1915, in Prattville, Ala., he lived in Fairfield for 44 years. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring at Travis Air Force Base in 1959 with the rank of major. During WWII, he served in the Pacific, Australia, Philippines, and New Guinea. After the service, he worked as a general agent for Security Life and Accident of Denver for 20 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of T.R.O.A. and the Fairfield Church of Christ.

Mr. Layne is survived by his wife, Mary Frances of Fairfield; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Phillip & Beverly Lane of Mt. Airy, Md.; granddaughters, Christine Bonovich of Dixon, Katina of Carmel, Michelle of Sacramento; great-granddaughter, Alicia Trejo of Sacramento; great-grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob Bonovish, both of Dixon; sister, Stelline Gladstone of Panama City, Fl.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 844, Santa Rosa, 95402.

Tom Ray Laird

A funeral for Tom Ray Laird, 84, of Fairfield will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Stonestreet will officiate. A visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker. Inurnment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Born March 13, 1916, in Star, Miss., Mr. Laird died Sept. 26, 2000, in Fairfield after a short illness.

Mr. Laird lived in Fairfield for 51 years.

He served in the United States Army and the Air Force. He was an aerial photographer in a balloon squadron and retired in 1960 as master sergeant. He worked for American National Insurance Company until retiring in 1978.

He was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church, active in the Boy Scouts of America and loved camping and fishing.

Mr. Laird is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Frances of Fairfield; sons, Thomas of Seattle, Wash., and Johnnie of Ketchikan, Ark.; brother, James of Star; sister, Sarah of Star; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Charles Albert Layne

A graveside service for Charles Albert Layne, 85, will be 11 a.m. today at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. Interment will follow with full military honors.

Mr. Layne died Sept. 22, 2000, in Laurel Creek Health Care Center after a long illness.

Donevon Pace

A funeral for Donevon Pace, 61, of Vacaville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Temple Baptist Church, 600 East Tabor Ave., Fairfield.

Pastor Robert Lewis and Pastor Tal Shakir from Faith Everlasting Ministries in Vacaville will officiate.

Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, in Patterson.

Mr. Pace died Sept. 25, 2000, in VacaValley Hospital after a long illness.

Born Sept. 11, 1939, in Tyronza, Ark., he lived in Solano County for 50 years. He was a construction superintendent for A.D. Seeno Co. He was a member of Cement Masons Union Local No. 825 in Pittsburg and a member of Castlewood Baptist Church in Vallejo.

Mr. Pace is survived by his wife, Rene of Vacaville; daughter, Cindy Gollihar of Vallejo; grandchildren, Don Gollihar of Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and Jeff Gollihar of Vallejo; sisters, Jean Douglas of Utah, Sheila Fordyce and Sandy Bennett, both of Dixon, Ill.; brothers, Sam Brown of Fairfield and Wayne and Paul, both of Michigan.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Fairfield Funeral Home.

Gerald "Jerry" Self

A memorial service for Gerald "Jerry" Self, 59, of Reno, will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Vacaville Elmira Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Self died Sept. 24, 2000, in Reno, after suffering heart failure.

Born May 13, 1941, in Commerce, Texas, he was a resident of Vacaville from 1949 to 1980. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1977 working as a security officer. He was a 1960 graduate of Vacaville High School. He then worked as a police officer in Vacaville, Junction City, Kan., and St. Helena. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and horses.

Mr. Self is survived by his wife, Judith of Reno; mother, Mary of Vacaville; sister, Betty Sparks of Pleasant Hill; brother, Ron of Vacaville; and daughters, Maria Varela of Vacaville, Heather Wood of Garden Grove, and Shannon Berringer of Concord. He also has six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Hospital in Reno.
