KELLEY, John L., 79, passed away in Dade City January 20, 2001. Survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, William Kelley and Jeffrey Kelley; two daughters, Janet Jones and Cozmari Smith, and nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Harriett McMilian. Mr. Kelley came here 17 years ago from Pittsburgh, he served in the Navy during World War II, and was a Protestant and a member of t he Masonic Lodge Of Pittsburgh. John and Ruth celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in May. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2001 at Settlers Rest Clubhouse with Reverend Kreaton Cullimore officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Odom, Dade City; two sons and their wives, Tim and Cindy Odom of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Steve and Jennifer Odom of Salisbury, N.C., three granddaughters, Maddie, Hailey and Kayla, two sisters, Denise Giella of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Charlene Daniels of Brandon, Fla. Sharon cam e to this area 45 years ago from Detroit, Mich. and attended Richland Baptist Church. She was employed by the Pasco County Commissioners Office in the Permit Department. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday January 26, 2001 at the Richland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Funeral Home.

PEIFER, Lester Carl, 70, of Zephyrhills, died Sunday afternoon, January 21, 2001 at Tampa General Hospital. He is survived by his wife: Glenna; three sons: Robert Peifer of Springfield, Pa., Frederick Peifer of Eddystone, Pa. and David Peifer of Wallingford, Pa.; two daughters: Marilee Kolynych of Clifton Heights, Pa. and Deborah Reischer of Chaddsford, Pa.; one sister: Loueen DeRosa of Media, Pa. and 14 grand- children. He was a native of Syracuse, N.Y. and moved to Zephyrhills four years ago from Central, Pa. He retired from Conrail Railroad in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1992. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Benton, Pa., a Life Member of the Springfield, PA Fire Company and a member of the Benton Masonic Lodge.

BAGGERLY, Charles D.O., 91 of Land O'Lakes, Florida died January 22, 2001 at home under the loving care of Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Marilynn, son, Dr. Gregory Baggerly and wife, Diane of Tampa; son, Robert Reppenhagen and wife, Susan of Tampa, daughter, Lisa Evaschuk and husband, Scott of Sarasota, grandchildren, Shannon Baggerly, Jade Reppenhagen, Cassie and Nicholas Evaschuk. He w as born in Coldwater, Michigan and graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1933. He was in private practice in Stevensville, Michigan for 42 years and moved to Tampa in 1975 where he continued to practice medicine until his retirement in 1996. He was a lifetime member of the AOA, FOMA, MOPA, and the HOMA. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 10: 00 a.m. Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m. Those who desire may make contributions to Hospice of Pasco-Land O'Lakes in memory of Dr. Baggerly.

BALLARD, David H., 89, of Plant City, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2001. Preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ballard in 1996; he is survived by his two brothers: Arthur Ballard and his wife, Marie of Plant City, Florida and Marion Ballard and his wife, Ada of Jacksonville, Florida; a special niece, Barbara Loverin and her husband, Ronald of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and numer ous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 27, 2001 at the Eastside Baptist Church, 1318 East Calhoun Street, Plant City, Florida with Dr. Waylon Carlisle, to officiate. The family will receive friends on the day of the service at the church from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service. A Plant City, Florida native, Mr. Ballard was a 35 year veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a M/Sgt; a member of the VFW in Plant City, Florida; a member of Eastside Baptist Church and also retired from the Hillsborough County School Board where he was employed as a maintenance man. Final interment will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Plant City, Florida with full military Honors being conducted by the Honors and Ceremony Team, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

BODLEY, Patricia Davison, 75, a twenty-eight year resident of Waldoboro, Maine, died in Tampa, Florida January 19, 2001 of complications following surgery. Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Col. Charles Bodley (USMC Retired); daughters, Karin Valladares, Nanci Hattar, Kristin McCormick; sons, Charles Bodley Jr. and Brian Bodley; her sister, Eleanor Shute and eight grandchildre n. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott. A loving wife, mother, sister and friend, she belonged to the West Waldoboro Community Church and was an active member of the Woman's Club and Helping Hands as well as a volunteer at the Lincoln Home. A memorial and burial will be held in Waldoboro in the spring.

BURKETT, Ruby J. 77 of Wiunter Haven, died January 20, 2001. Survived by her daughter, Judy Hawk of Winter Haven; and two grandchildren. Member of First Church of the Nazarene. Ott-Laughlin F.H.

EARHART, Richard E., 78 of Tampa met his maker January 21, 2001. Survived by his wife Rozene Stallings Earhart. Member of the Flying Tigers 14th Air Force. Cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mark III Funeral Home 831-9444.

EILAND, John C., 89, Tampa, died January 23, 2001. Survived by sons, Wayne and Donnie; daughters, Shirley Ruhmel and Dorothy Mobley; sister, Eva Mae Walker; and 15 grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by sons, Maurice and John, Jr.; and daughter, Joyce Ann Cagle. Born in Brooksville, retired employee of Concrete Products Co. after 42 years. Our beloved father and grandfather went to glor y January 23, 2001. His long life was filled with selfless acts of devoted love for God and family. He worked hard and tirelessly to provide for and bring happiness to his wife and children. He spent many happy hours fishing and gardening, and loved telling wonderful stories of his childhood years. Though we will sorely miss him, we rejoice that he is in the joyful presence of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, at the Garden of Memories. Survivors include his sisters, Isabel Garcia and Georgia Fernandez, sister-in-law, Lillian Garcia, nephews, George Rodriguez and Dennis Garcia, nieces, Dalia Fernandez, Irene Hartman and husband David and Lynda Gayle Garcia, grand nephews, Louis O. Fernandez III and wife Tanya, Rodney Rodriguez and wife Julie and David Hartman, Jr ., grand nieces, Diane Frigola, Yolanda Walshon and husband Robert, also survived by several great-grand nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.

GLISSON, Gene M., 54, of Temple Terrace died January 23, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Beth; two sons, Shannon Glisson and wife Vicki of Zephyrhills and Scott Glisson and wife Donna of Dover; daughter, Jerilynne Richards of Tampa; two sisters, Dolores Pitts and husband James of Plant City and Carol Lacey and husband Wayne of Gibsonton; three grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton and Cailynn; two au nts, Mildred Davis and Merle Owen of Baxley, Ga. A native and lifetime resident of Tampa, Mr. Glisson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace and Temple Terrace Lodge No. 330 F.&A.M. He retired from GTE as an Engineer after 33 years of service and was currently working for W.S.J.T. 94.1 FM in the field promotions department. He served his country in U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace, 10002 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace. GONZALEZ, Maria `Rosario`, age 89, of Tampa passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2001. Survivors include her beloved husband of 59 years, Jose M. Gonzalez, son, Joe Gonzalez, daughter, Annie Otero, grandchildren, Rene Otero Jr., Lori Otero and Joe Gonzalez, Jr.; two great-granddaughters; sisters, Carmen and Estrella as well as several other sisters and brothers in Cuba. Mrs. Gonzalez came to Tampa from her native, Cuba in 1964. She was Catholic, a parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a member of Club 15 womens club and Casa Cuba of Tampa. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Armenia Chapel, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Pallbearers will be Fernando Arufe, Rene Otero Jr., Joe Gonzalez, Alejandro Gonzalez, Alex Gonzalez and Ar mando Santana. Honorary pallbearers will be Benigno Garcia, Israel Collins, Humberto Sarmiento and Region Sarmiento. The family will receive friends this evening from 7-9:00 p.m. during which there will be the recitation of the Catholic `Wake Rite` at the funeral home.

GRAW, Charles W., 83 of Sun City Center, Fla., died January 20, 2001. Survived by his wife, Esther W. Graw; son, Kevin Graw of Warrenville, Ill.; daughters, Deborah Green, Carmel, N.Y., and Sandra Fellin, Saylorsburg, Pa.; one sister, Miriam Eberhart, Lockhaven, Pa.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Born in Lockhaven, Pa., Mr. Graw moved to the area in 1977. He retired after 36 ye ars of store management for W.T. Grant Co. at various locations in the Northeastern U.S. He was a Tech Sgt. in Tank Destroyer Battalion 817, U.S. Army, serving in ETO during World War II and fought in the `Battle of the Bulge`; and was a member of the VFW in Ruskin, Fla. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, at Prince of Peach Catholic Church, Sun City Center, with Rev. Monsignor Diego Conesa officiating. JEFFRIES, Virginia, 80, of Pittsburgh, died Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at St. Josephs Hospital. A Pittsburgh native, she was a recent visitor to Temple Terrace. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Winton of Temple Terrace; three sons, Andrew, Robert and David, all of Pittsburgh; and seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2001. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

JOHNSON, Walter O. Jr., 83, of Plant City passed away Thursday, January 18, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth; sons, Robert Johnson and wife Patricia, and Keith Johnson and wife Toni; grandchildren, Robert Johnson Jr., Michelle Cardoso, Amanda Wright, Scott Johnson and Justin Johnson; and great-grandchild, Hannah Wright. Mr. Johnson was a World War II veteran and member of Florida Flywheelers, Senat's R.V. Club, American Amateur Press Association and Antique Outboard Motor Club. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. He was a role model for all, was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed.

JOHNSTON, Catherine Ellen, 87, of Seffner passed away on Monday, January 22, 2001. She is survived by three sons, Gordon Jr., of Valrico, Fla., Floyd C. of Seffner, Fla., David of Blairsville, Ga.; daughter, Martha Kay Dunson of Morganton, Ga.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A native of Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., she has resided in the Tampa area since 1948. She was a teacher and librarian with Hillsborough County School System; a member of the Brandon Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church and their Alter Guild. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Thursday (today) at the Stowers Brandon Chapel with The Reverend Stephen Rudacille, Rector officiating. Interment to follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.

KEELAN, Joseph F., 88, of Tampa, died Monday, January 22, 2001. Survived by his son, John Keelan of Tampa; his daughter, Mechelle Lanctot of Auburn, Wash.; two brothers, Goerge and John Keelan both of N.J.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Keelan was a Merchant Seaman and member of Christ The King Catholic Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2001 in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

LANG, Myrtis, 42, of Tampa passed away, January 22, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Isaac Lang; three sons, Darrell Lane, Anthony Lane, and Isaac S. Lang; two daughters, Jasmine Lane and Sarah Lang. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke A.M.E. Church, 2709 N. 25th St.
