Peggy E. Guenther of Arlington Heights
A private family graveside service for Peggy E. Guenther, 42, will be held at a later date, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
Born Aug. 19, 1956, in Oak Park, she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare.
She was an assistant underwriter for the past four years with Hanover Insurance Company in Itasca. She was a member of the World Wildlife Federation and a former member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church choir.
She was the loved daughter of Margaret A. and the late Adolph H. Guenther; dearest sister of Richard Guenther of Arlington Heights; dear niece of Lois Guenther; and aunt of Cristina and Eric Guenther.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd. ), Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the World Wildlife Federation, 1250 24th St. N. W., Washington, DC 20037 or your favorite charity.

Helen Hallenborg of Des Plaines
Funeral services for Helen Hallenborg, 83, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave. Des Plaines.
Born May 23, 1915, in Chicago, she died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
She was the sister ofthe late Russel, Eleanor and Vivian Hallenborg.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home.

Marie D. Janik of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Marie D. Janik (nee Duba), 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Oct. 24, 1911, in Libertyville, she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at home.
Entombment will be in Ascension Mausoleum, Libertyville.
A lifelong resident of Libertyville, she was the Libertyville Historian for the Cook House of Libertyville and founding member of the Chrysanthemum Ball of St. Joseph Parish. She served as a greeter in period garb for Main Street Libertyville Annual Christmas Victorian Tea, and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish and Guild of the BVM. She was also a member of the Libertyville Women's Club.
She was the wife of the late Joseph, he died in 1990; mother of Gregory (Karin) Janik of Cumming, Ga.; sister-in-law of Marie Plonka; sister of G. Raymond (Dee) Duba of Ingleside, Alice Duba of Libertyville, Dorothy Hackett of Ohio, Joan Gastfield of Cary and the late Noel (Nona) Duba; grandmother of Jarette (Debra) Janik and Jessica (Paul) Harvey; and great-grandmother of Sydney Harvey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Memorials may be made to the Paramedic Unit of the Libertyville Fire Department.

Henry Jekosz of Streamwood
Prayers for Henry Jekosz, 62, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd. ), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Born July 3, 1936, in Poland, he died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at the University of Chicago Hospital. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Henry was instrumental inbring the Polish Mass to St. John the Evangelist Church in Streamwood.
He was the husband of Wladyslawa Jekosz (nee Storyna); father of Martha (Jozef) Mika of Streamwood, Karl (Margaret) of Chicago and Richard of Streamwood; andbrother of Antoni and the late Jan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Walter Juretschke of Arlington Heights
Memorial services for Walter Juretschke, 70, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, with the Rev. Naomi Hawkins officiating.
Born Sept. 22, 1928, in Chicago, he died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at his home in Sarasota, Fla.
Mr. Juretschke, an Army veteran of the Korean War, spent many years as a sales consultant with Mercedes Benz. He was a member of Arlington Heights Elks Lodge #2048 and a volunteer at Countryside Golf Club in Mundelein.
He was the loving husband of Shirley (nee Kucera); dearest father of Debbie (Matt) Smith of New Hampshire, Karen (Tim) Radez of Wauconda and Robert (Linda) Juretschke of Bolingbrook; and dear grandfather of Kasey, Margot and Charles Smith, Vanessa and Lara Radez and Mark, Michael and David Juretschke.
Memorial visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Mamie I. Klaus (nee Stephens), 86, of Villa Park, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999. Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 832-4161.

Robert `Bob' Kubinak
A memorial service for Robert `Bob' Kubinak will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
He died at peace at hiswinter home in Mountain Home, Ark., due to complications associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and congestive heart failure.
Robert was retired from sales with the Calgon division of Merck. Later, he owned and operated a charter fishing business based out of Kenosha Yacht Club. An avid outdoor sportsman, he was a member of Northbrook Sports Club and Trout Unlimited, and supported many wildlife conservation efforts. Mr. Kubinak was very active with AA Fellowship after being sober for 23 years.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Kubinak of Grayslake, Jenny Kubinak of Frederick, Md., Kevin Kubinak of Marina, Calif. and Susan Kubinak of St. Louis, Mo.; and his sister, Mary Ann Black of Lutherville, Md.

Julia Larson of Waukegan
Services for Julia Larson (nee Turpin), 89, will be held at noon Saturday, at Salata Funeral Home, 14th St. and Park Ave., North Chicago.
Born Feb. 16, 1910, in Waukegan, she died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at Winchester House in Libertyville. Interment will be in North Shore Garden of Memories.
A lifelong resident of Waukegan, she was a member of the Slovene Pensioner's Club and The Slovenic National Home.
Survivors include her sister, Angela (Edward) Bretzlauf of North Chicago; niece, Susan Mazur of Antioch; and nephew, Roger (Lynda) Cyganek of Kansas City, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur on May 29, 1975; brothers, Joseph Turpin, Frank Turpin and Anthony Turpin; and sisters, Antoinette Shouse and Genieve Eythe.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Geraldine E. Matushek of Des Plaines
A memorial Mass for Geraldine E. Matushek (nee Czarnik), 71, willbe held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Our Lady of Hope Church.
Born March 14, 1928, in Chicago, she died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at Oakton Pavillion Nursing Home. Burial will be private.
A secretary for On Time Distribution in Des Plaines for 13 years, she was the wife of the late Richard J.; mother of Vera A. (Terry) McLain of Bartlett, LoreneV. (John) Dini of Des Plaines and Valerie I. Matushek of Des Plaines; sister of Virginia (Ernie) Lotz of Des Plaines; and grandmother of Anthony, Gregory, Matthew and Kathryn.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

Susan Diane McGinty of Hanover Park
A memorial service for Susan D. McGinty (nee Yeager), 50, will begin at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington.
Born Aug. 1, 1948, in Woodriver, Ill., she passed away Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk GroveVillage.
Susan was an administrative assistant in the student activities office at William Rainey Harper Community College. Her initiation of an active volunteer program at the college was well received. She enjoyed the outdoors, travel, reading, creative arts, and membership in the women's ministry group at Willow Creek Church.
She is survivedby her beloved daughter, Cassandra of Hanover Park; her sister, Patricia Yeager of Joliet; and her father, Duane Yeager of Morris.

Carlo R. Michelotti of South Barrington
Services for Carlo R. Michelotti, 86, will begin with prayersat 9:45 a.m. Monday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue withMass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon St., Hoffman Estates.
Born Aug. 16, 1912, in Carraia, Tuscana, Italy, he died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at home. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Michelotti had been a farmer.
He was the beloved husband of the late Anna M. Michelotti (nee Menconi); loving father of Dr. Leo (Kathy) Michelotti, Dr. Joseph (Shirley) Michelotti, Dr. Michael (Marianne)Michelotti, Gloria Michelotti (Robert) Johnson, Carla Michelotti (Robert Colvin) and Dr. Maria Michelotti (John) Bergman; proud grandfather of Robert, Daniel and Kristin Johnson, Paul, Nicole, Matthew and Juliana Michelotti, Carlo, Mark and Christopher Michelotti, AnnaMarie, Adam and Jonathon Bergman, and Andrew and Steven Michelotti; loving son of the late Giuseppe and Genovina Michelotti; and dear brother of Pietro Michelotti, Dora Venaglia, Mario Michelotti and the late Suora, Mercedes, Frank, Giulio and Govanni.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Virginia C. Miller formerly of Palatine
A funeral Mass for Virginia C. Miller (nee Bree), 79, of Fox Lake, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Spring Grove.
Born Nov. 17, 1919, in Evanston, she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, following the Mass.
Mrs. Miller had been a resident of Fox Lake for the past 14 years. Previously a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palatine, where she was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary, she was currently a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Spring Grove and had served as a eucharistic minister there.
Mrs. Miller was a former ward secretary in the obstetrics department of Northwest Community Hospital and was also a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, Sherman Hospital in Elgin, and Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Miller of Fox River Grove, Thomas (June) Miller of Algonquin and Arthur (Kathleen) Miller of Lindenhurst; daughters, Karen (Richard) Green of Geneva, Gail (Earl) Albers of Johnsburg, Ginger (Don) Morton of McHenry and Mary Seda of Crystal Lake; 13 grandsons; 14 granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is also survived by her dear friend, Robert Tinney of Fox Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur P. Miller; grandson, Kenny Mike Miller; great-grandson, Ryan Stoddard; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends of the family may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today, atthe K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake (in the Chapel on the Lake).
In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate memorials for the Heart Association.
