Stanley A. Chriske of Warrenville for five years
Prayers for Stanley A. Chriske, 89, formerly of West Chicago and Wheaton, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. ), West Chicago, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Vern Arseneau will officiate.
Born Sept. 3, 1909, in Ladysmith, Wis., he passed away Thursday, March 18, 1999, at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago.
Mr. Chriske had lived in Wheaton from 1972 to 1950 and in West Chicago from 1973 to 1994. During the 1940s, he had resided in Green Bay, Wis. He was formerly employed as a custodian for 14 years by Wheaton School District 200 and by Kraft Food Company in Chicago and Green Bay. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a former member of DuPage Memorial VFW Post #2164 and American Legion Post #76 of Wheaton. Mr. Chriske loved sports and pitched on a semi-pro baseball team in Green Bay. To this day, he holds the record of 21 strike-outs in one game. He coached Little League, pony league and semi-pro baseball in Wheaton, and started the football team at St. Michael's School in Wheaton.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Chriske, they would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary on April 15 of this year; daughters, Brenda Schweigert of Winfield and Gloria (John) Ketterlinus of Avington, Penn.; sons, Thomas (Ann) Chriske of Clifton Park, N. Y. and Michael (Barbara) Chriske of Batavia; grandchildren, David Schweigert, Diana Belinsky, Diane (Greg) Bandos, David (Tracy), Scott (Maureen), Kevin (Gail), Jason Chriske and Garrett Ketterlinus; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Chriske and Bridgett Johanna Chriske; brothers, Jim and Jack (Marge) Chriske, both of Green Bay, Wis.; and sister, Donna Murray of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Glenn and Dana Schweigert; his parents; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.

Wayne Lee Clark
A memorial service for Wayne Lee Clark, 56, most recently of Chicago, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn.
Mr. Clark was director of IMC at Bloomingdale's DuJardin Elementary School and videographer for FirstLight Production in Burr Ridge. He was former AV director of Naperville North High School, and a member of Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club and the Professional Car Society.
He was the beloved husband of Marlene (nee Fuhrman); dear father of Jennifer (Michael) Drew of Lombard; loving grandfather of Cassidy Jane and Samuel Vincent Drew; cherished brother of Carol (Arthur) Barlow of Munster, Ind.; devoted son of the late Raymond and Lucille Clark; fond nephew of many aunts and uncles; and special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood.
Memorials to the Wayne Lee Clark Memorial Youth Fund, c/o First National Bank of Chicago, Attn: Carolyn, 515 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, would be appreciated.

Jeanette V. Conrad of Gurnee
Visitation for Jeanette V. Conrad, 85, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
Born March 4, 1914, in Toledo, Ohio, she died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Burial will be private.
Survivors include her children, Mark W. Conrad of Lake Bluff and Tony (Paula) Lisiakowski of Toledo; grandchildren, Jerry (Ursula) Lisiakowski of Maumee, Ohio, Joy (Kevin) Creutz of Perrysburg, Ohio, Gina (Keith) Kusz of Scotts, Mich. and Jody Lisiakowski of Toledo; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Osmialowski of Tampa, Fla. and Edward Osmialowski of Toledo; andmany nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Osmialowski.

Delores I. `Dee' Coulson of South Elgin
Services for Delores I. `Dee' Coulson, 48, will begin at 9:30 a.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph F. Kulak will officiate.
Born June 13, 1950, in Renfrew, Penn., she died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.
Burial will be private.
Mrs. Coulson had been a resident of South Elgin for the past five years and had formerly lived in St. Charles for 10 years. She had a 25-year career as a nurse practitioner and nursing educator and was a member of the Illinois Nurses Association, where she had formerly served as president in District 2. She was also a member of St. LaurenceCatholic Church in Elgin, and was founder and president of the Esteemed Radko Club.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Coulson; sons, Greg and Nathan Coulson, both of South Elgin; and sister, Linda (Tom) Saunders of Phoenix, Ariz.
Donations in her memory may be given to the family for the Dee I. Coulson Nursing Scholarship Fund.

Mark Steven Fuller of Round Lake
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark Steven Fuller will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Gilberts Church, Grayslake.
Mr. Fuller passed away Thursday, March 18, 1999.
Mark was a member of Carpenter's Union Local #250 and also a member of the Lake County Music Club. He was employed by Blinderman Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Sosinski); son, Simon Fuller of England; stepsons, Robert, Kevin and Christopher Kolar; mother, Leona Fuller of Arizona; many brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very best friend, `Suge. ' He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and brother, Michael.
Friends and family may visit Monday from 6 to 9 p. m at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.

Kathryn Einung Gamlin of Lombard
A memorial service for Kathryn Einung Gamlin, 88, formerly of several western suburbs, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 139 E. First St., Hinsdale.
Born Nov. 22, 1910, in Sioux Falls, S. D., she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Beacon Hill in Lombard.
She was the beloved wife of Earl Robert; loving mother of Marilyn G. (late Philip) Breiding and Nancy (Richard) Wilen; dear grandmother of Jennifer and Eric Wilen, and Kathy and Mark Breiding; and fond sister of Harriet Gamlin and Talmer (Kris) Einung.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, 1001 E. Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60018 or Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.

Janet C. Gazzola (nee Gehl), 69, of Glendale Heights, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. Arrangements were made by Cypress Funeral Home, Glendale Heights, (630) 653-7666.

Peggy E. Guenther of Arlington Heights
A private family graveside service for Peggy E. Guenther, 42, will be held at a later date, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
Born Aug. 19, 1956, in Oak Park, she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare.
She was an assistant underwriter for the past four years with Hanover Insurance Company in Itasca. She was a member of the World Wildlife Federation and a former member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church choir.
She was the loved daughter of Margaret A. and the late Adolph H. Guenther; dearest sister of Richard Guenther of Arlington Heights; dear niece of Lois Guenther; and aunt of Cristina and Eric Guenther.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd. ), Arlington Heights.

Mary Ruth Hayes of Palatine

Born Dec. 1, 1926, in Chatawa, Miss., she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
A homemaker, she was the beloved wife of the late John C. Hayes; loving mother of James C. (Natalie) Hayes, Douglas M. (Donna) Hayes and Deborah (Kerry) Johnson; cherished grandmother of six; and loving sister of many brothers and sisters.

Marie D. Janik of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Marie D. Janik (nee Duba), 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Oct. 24, 1911, in Libertyville, she died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at home.
Entombment will be in Ascension Mausoleum, Libertyville.
A lifelong resident of Libertyville, she was the Libertyville Historian for the Cook House of Libertyville and founding member of the Chrysanthemum Ball of St. Joseph Parish. She served as a greeter in period garb for Main Street Libertyville Annual ChristmasVictorian Tea, and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish and Guild of the BVM. She was also a member of the Libertyville Women's Club.
She was the wife of the late Joseph, he died in 1990; mother of Gregory (Karin) Janik ofCumming, Ga.; sister-in-law of Marie Plonka; sister of G. Raymond (Dee) Duba of Ingleside, Alice Duba of Libertyville, Dorothy Hackett of Ohio, Joan Gastfield of Cary and the late Noel (Nona) Duba; grandmother of Jarette (Debra) Janik and Jessica (Paul) Harvey; and great-grandmother of Sydney Harvey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Memorials may be made to the Paramedic Unit of the Libertyville Fire Department.

Henry Jekosz of Streamwood
Prayers for Henry Jekosz, 62, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd. ), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Born July 3, 1936, in Poland, he died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at the University of Chicago Hospital. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Henry was instrumental in bringing the Polish Mass to St. John the Evangelist Church in Streamwood.
He was the husband of Wladyslawa Jekosz (nee Storyna); father of Martha (Jozef) Mika of Streamwood, Karl (Margaret) of Chicago and Richard of Streamwood; and brother of Antoni and the late Jan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Northwest Suburban Unit, 625 North Ct., Suite 280, Palatine, IL 60067-8162, in Henry's memory.

Carolyn Joan Korbal of Rolling Meadows
Funeral Mass for Carolyn Joan Korbal, 65, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Colette Church, Rolling Meadows.
Born June 24, 1933, in Chicago, she died Friday, March 19, 1999, at her daughter's home in McHenry. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
She was the wife of the late Stanley Korbal; mother of Karen A. (Kurt) Kampendahl, Steven S. Korbal, Christine M. (Steven) Newman, James P. Korbal and Kathryn (Hans) Buflod; grandmother of Kurt and Kelly Kampendahl, Steven and Jennifer Newman, Katie and Kassie Korbal, and Shannon, Derrick, Bryan and Kyle Buflod; and sister of John (Carole) Huetten.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.
