Lola May Johnson of Wayne
Services for Lola May Johnson, 80, will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at Little Home Church by the Wayside.
The Rev. Dr. Donald Heinrich will officiate.
Born July 25, 1918, in Wayne, to Lisle and Jeannette Smith, she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in the Little Woods Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Little Home Church by the Wayside in Wayne.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Robert Johnson; children, Rick (Kathy) Johnson of Humble, Texas, Brian (Kathy) Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., Karen (Dan) Bitz of St. Joseph, Mich., and Cheryl (Don) Auble of Elgin; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Irene) Smith of Wayne and Donald (Carley) Smith of Plainfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Russell, Mervyn and Stanley Smith.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Tyra M. Jonson of St. Charles
Funeral services for Tyra M. Jonson, 92, will be held at 11:30 a. m. Wednesday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Charles. Rev. Kenneth Ahlstrand will officiate.
Born Aug. 31, 1906, in East Orange, N. J., she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at home. Burial will be in North Cemetery, St. Charles.
Mrs. Jonson graduated in 1929, from Gustavas Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., with a degree in education. After graduation, she taught high school in Minnesota for several years. In 1934, she married Rev. Rudolph Jonson in Wellsville, N. Y. Later, after raising her children, she taught high school in Cambridge, Ill. In 1970, she and her husband moved to St. Charles.
Mrs. Jonson is survived by her daughters, Charlotte J. (Edwin) Berndt of Wheaton and Martha Miller of St. Charles; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Rudolph Jonson in 1971; brothers, Tord and Rolf Beck; sister, Hildegard Harris; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Anloyce C. Joy South Elgin
Prayers for Anloyce C. Joy, 71, will be held at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday, at theLaird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Mass will follow at 9 a. m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church. The Rev. Josphe F. Kulak will officiate.
Born Aug. 26, 1927, in Union County, Miss., the daughter of Claude and Jane Browning Black, she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
She had been a resident of Elgin for many years and had lived in South Elgin since 1980. She was a secretary for LaFox Screw Products Inc. in South Elgin prior to her retirement and was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church of Elgin.
Survivors include her sons, Samuel C. (Kathryn) Joy of Hampshire, Richard L. Joy of South Elgin, Gary E. (Susan) Joy of Elgin, Mark A. (Cecilia) Joy of South Beloit and David P. (Margaret) Joy of Elgin; grandchildren, Ross and Justin Joy, Chris and Lisa Burnside, Mark, Angela, Cameron, Dave Jr., Amy and Madeline; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl, Buddy and Robert; and sisters, Glenda and Jean.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick in 1977; her sister, Pearl; and her brother, James.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today at the funeral home.

Leonard J. Kawczynski of Arlington Heights
Services for Leonard J. Kawczynski, 80, will begin with prayers at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, and continuewith Mass at 11 a. m., at St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights.
Born Feb. 20, 1918, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
An Army Air Force veteran, Mr. Kawczynski had served in the Pacific during World War II. He was retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Comdisco.
Surviving are his daughters, Barbara (Ken) Sodt, Linda (Hank) Wisner, Marybeth (Arthur) Mason, Judy (Darrell) Dragoo and Cathy (Kevin) Murphy; grandchildren, Tom (Cindy) Sodt, Lisa Marie (Charles) Dupree, Matthewand Lorette Mason, Darrell and Dominic Dragoo, and Brandon, Shea, Marissa and Kelsey Murphy; greatgrandchildren, Ashley and Colton Sodt; and foster grandchildren, Andrea and Brie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Kawczynski; parents, John and Rose Kawczynski; and brother, Tom Kawczynski.

Anna M. Koeppl of Arlington Heights
Services for Anna M. Koeppl (nee Hibsch), 86, formerly of RollingMeadows, will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights.
Born Dec. 1, 1912, in Arlington Heights, she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Lutheran GeneralHospital, Park Ridge. Burial will be in Randhill Park Cemetery, Palatine.
A homemaker, she was the beloved wife of the late Charles Koeppl, who preceded her in 1991; loving mother of Charles (the late Betty) Koeppl, Russel (Shirley) Koeppl and Dolores (Robert) Bentz; cherished grandmother of Wesley, Guy, Wendy, Sandy, Debbie, Robbie, Brian, Pam and Terry; great-grandmother of nine; and great-great-grandmother of one. She was also the dear sister of Katherine Tudor and the late Eva Wirtz.

Florence Krueger of Palatine, formerly of Chicago
A funeral Mass for Florence Krueger (nee Stolinski), 86, most recently a resident of the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly in Palatine, will be celebrated at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday, at the St. Joseph Home, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Nov. 27, 1912, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at the St. Joseph Home in Palatine. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, River Grove.
A homemaker, she was the loving sister of Dolores (the late Henry) Koziolek of Chicago, Roman (Marge) Stolinski of Skokie and Leona (Glen) Gifford of Carpentersville; dear cousin of Benedictine M. LaSota of Chicago; and fondaunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Krueger.
Visitation will be from9 a. m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday, at the St. Joseph Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Little Sisters of the Poor, c/o the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067, would be appreciated.

Ann Krueger of St. Charles
A funeral service for Ann Krueger, 59, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles.
Born Sept. 26, 1939, in Chicago, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva.
She had been employed by Jel Sert Company in West Chicago.
Mrs. Krueger is survived by her son, Michael (Christine) Krueger of Elgin; grandchildren, Breanna and Zachary; and sister, Linda (Terry) Cardwell of Addison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Krueger; and brother, Alex Sipari.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Evelyn Lueck of Elgin
A memorial service for Evelyn Lueck, 76, will be held at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Pastor Thomas Niermann will officiate.
Born May 28, 1922, in Polk, Neb., the daughter of Arthur and Ella Hahn Ziegelbein, she died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Lueck was a volunteer with the YWCA English as a Second Language program. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and their Altar Guild, and she was active in various church organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Lee; children, Larry (Karen) of Chicago, Janelle Worley of Elgin and Cindy (Steve) Lueck-Blank of Seattle, Wash.; grandaughters, Gretchen and Chelsea; brother, Erwin Ziegelbein of Elgin; and sister, Arlene Peters of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Ziegelbein.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 p. m. Tuesday, at the church.
Memorials may be made to either St. John's Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

John Patrick Maloney of Park Ridge
A funeral Mass for John Patrick Maloney, 81, a longtime resident of Park Ridge, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at Mary Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Park Ridge.
Mr. Maloney passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Maloney; son, John P. (Paula) Maloney Jr.; granddaughters, Megan and Molly; and brother, James Maloney.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Weiland.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Tuesday, at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge.

Jeanne McCullough
Memorial services for Jeanne McCullough of McKinney, Texas, will be held at 4 p. m. Wednesday, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. The Rev. Jim Dorff will officiate.
Born March 5, 1914, in Brockton, Ill., the daughter of John Peter Hale and Georgia Isabel (nee Petty) Hale, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Shurtleff College in Alton, Ill. and married Harry Weber McCullough Jr. on Oct. 15, 1938, in Alton. She was a Life Master in Bridge.
Survivors include her daughter, Kit Cobb of McKinney; son, Harry Weber McCullough of Wheaton; five grandchildren; and faithful companion, Ralphie.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local S. P. C. A.
