Shirley was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Decatur, the daughter of James Darrell and Geraldine Lucille Payne Willoughby. She was a graduate of Warrensburg-Latham High School. She had worked for Millikin National Bank, Leath Furniture Co., Public Finance, Milliki
n University and First National Bank of Mount Zion. She married Patrick William Vogt July 15, 1949, in Decatur.
Surviving are her husband; mother, Geraldine L. Geddes of Decatur; daughters, Patricia and husband Allen Parnell of Warrensburg; Amy and husband Mike Blandford of North Highlands, Calif.; grandchildren, Carrie and husband Ty Johnson of Lincoln; Matthew Parnell of Warrensburg; Megan and Jeremy Blandford, both of North Highlands; stepgrandson, Chris Blandford and wife Christy of North Highlands; stepsister, Linda Blickensderfer; great-stepgrandson, Kyle Blandford of North Highlands.
She was preceded in death by her father, infant sister, son, Anthony William Vogt, and stepfather, James Geddes.

Mrs. Newberry was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Ironwood, Mich., the daughter of Kostec and Mary Mankowski Danowski. She married Willis Earl Sullivan. He passed away in August 1942. She married Dewey Newberry Feb. 16, 1946, in Clinton. He passed away in June 10,
1972.
