DIONICIO R. RIOS
SATANTA -- Dionicio R. Rios, 76, Satanta, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.
He was born Feb. 11, 1925, to Luis and Epigma (Ramos) Rios in Ojinaga, Mexico.
He married Juana Juarez Feb. 15, 1950, in Ojinaga. She died Dec. 6, 1997.
He and his wife moved to the Satanta area in 1973.
He was employed by Miller Feedyard in Satanta before retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Apolonio Rios and wife, Margarita, and Manuel Rios and wife, Nancy, all of Satanta, and Jose Rios and wife, Araceli, Liberal; three daughters, Rita Urquidi and husband, Javier, and Maria Aranjo and husband, Alvaro, all of Satanta, and Guadalupe Garcia and husband, Ramon, Joliet, Ill.; one brother, Luis Rios, Mexico; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sinai Pentecostal Holiness Church in Sublette with the Pastor Felix Salazar presiding.
Burial will be at Dudley Township Cemetery
in Satanta.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.

J.C. WILSON
ELKHART -- J.C. Wilson, 76, died Oct. 26, 2001, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.
He was born Feb. 1, 1925, to Calamity Cole and Vallie Belle (Tipton) Wilson in Richfield.
He had been a lifelong resident of Morton County.
He was a farmer and worked for an oil company in later years.
He was a member of Point Rock VFW Post in Elkhart.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Wilson, Council Grove, and Dan Wilson, Richfield; one daughter, Cris Riebel, Goodland; four brothers, Cole Wilson, Mesa, Ariz., Dodge Wilson, Guymon, Okla., Larry Wilson, Keyes, Okla., and Warren Wilson, Texas; two sisters, Thelma Cox, Midland, Texas, and Mary Bradley, Loma, Colo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Richfield Cemetery
in Richfield.
Burial will be at Richfield Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:30-8 p.m. today at Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.

WILMA HINDS
AMARILLO, Texas -- Wilma Hinds, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in Amarillo.
She married C.L. Hinds May 5, 1935, in Borger, Texas. He died July 6, 1995.
She had been a resident of Amarillo for eight years, having previously lived in Ulysses, Liberal and Borger.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Gary Hinds and wife, Rosemary, Hugoton; one daughter, Loretta Vanderlinden and husband, Johnny; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Sanchez; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other family members.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Norman Hinds on April 6, 1999; and one great-grandson, Billy Reeves on May 6, 1995.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at White Deer Cemetery
in White Deer, Texas, with the Rev. Jerry Young presiding.
Burial will be at White Deer Cemetery.
HOWARD H. WARREN
Howard H. Warren, 93, Liberal, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
RUDOLFO DURAN
Rudolfo "Rudy" Duran, 22, Liberal, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Feb. 20, 1979, to Julio and Ruth (Riead) Duran in Garden City.
He married Keri Mosburg March 18, 2000, in Custer City, Okla.
He attended school in Phoenix. He was employed as a field technician in construction.
Survivors include one son, Jacob Duran, Clinton, Okla.; his mother, Liberal; his father and step-mother, Lorraine, Phoenix; three brothers, Julio Duran Jr., Stillwell, Okla., Greg Spone, Wichita, and Richard Duran, Liberal; two step-brothers, Jason Cloninger and Matthew Cloninger, both of Anchorage, Alaska; four sisters, Brenda Pablo, Indianapolis, Janie Todd and Candy Duran, both of Phoenix, and Janelle Duran, Denver; one step-sister, Leslie Ellis, Anchorage; grandmother, Ruth O'Brian, Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. today at Miller Chapel in Liberal with the Rev. David Andrews presiding.
Cremation will take place following the service.
VIRGIL J. CROTHERS
Virgil J. Crothers, 81, Liberal, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born March 13, 1920, to John A. and Lottie M. (Heston) Crothers in Liberal.
He married Maurine Scantlin June 22, 1941, in Garden City. She survives.
He grew up in Liberal and graduated from Liberal High School in 1938.
He had been a long-time meat market manager, having worked for Dillon's, Safeway and Jack and Jill Food Stores.
He retired in 1984.
His hobbies included gardening, hunting and listening to music.
Other survivors include two daughters, Pat Morlen and husband, Mike, Liberal, and Jean Johnson and husband, Jack, Plains; three grandchildren, Michael Morlen and wife, Lesha, Jason Johnson and wife, Jenna, and Jerry
Johnson and fiance, Shelley Novack; and one great-grandson, Chanler Morlen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Liberal Friends Church with the Rev. Fred Littlefield presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery
in Liberal.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
