Survivors include a nephew, John F. Howard of Covington.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.

Rose A. Rasp, 84, of Covington, died Friday at St. Charles Care Center in Covington.

She was a teacher with Mary Queen of Heaven School in Erlanger, a former member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger, and a member of Elsmere Senior Citizens. Her husband, John Rasp, died in 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Brandner Bogenschutz of Hebron; a son, J. Thomas Rasp of Fort Mitchell; a sister, Mary Jane Brannen of Cincinnati; brothers, Rudolph Albanese of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Vincent Albanese Jr. of Canastota, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery. Rosezella "Rosie" Rogers, 59, of Burlington, died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a press operator with Augur Metal Products Co., Florence.

Raymond G. Wehrman Jr., 66, of Covington, died at 6:30 a.m. Friday at his home.

He was a retired account manager for General Motors Auto Co., a member of St. Augustine Church in Covington and a volunteer at St. Charles Care Center, Covington.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lee Wehrman of Covington; sons, Michael A. Wehrman of Greenwood, Ind., Gary R. Wehrman of Florence and Jeff D. Wehrman of Independence; daughters, Vicki L. Howard R. Wilson, 92, of Erlanger, died at 1:10 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired salesman with Acme Bag and Burlap, Cincinnati, and a member of Florence United Methodist Church. His wife, Florence Hudson Wilson, died in 1997.

Survivors include a son, Carl M. Wilson of Burlington; a daughter, Joyce E. Bonar of Lewistown, Montana; a brother, Woodrow Wilson of Erlanger; a sister, Betty Glover of Dayton; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Florence United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Sally O'Brien, nurse, helped with local Special Olympics

For the past few years, Sally Stenken O'Brien of Villa Hills has helped chair t he annual golf outing as a member of her local Special Olympics Honorary Board.

Mrs. O'Brien, a registered nurse who worked at St. Elizabeth Medical Centers in Covington and Edgewood, had compassion for her patients as well as children who competed in the Special Olympics, said Chuck O'Brien, her husband of 27 years.

"She was always trying to do things for every body," Mr. O'Brien said. "I think that's why she became so involved with the Special Olympics. Her heart went out to those children."

Mrs. O'Brien, 49, of Villa Hills, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood after an illness.

She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and Summit Hills Country Club. Mrs. O'Brien grew up in Fort Mitchell and also worked in several Cincinnati-area hospitals, including Good Samaritan and Jewish Hospital in Kenwood.

"She was very soft-spoken, but she was the type to always give gifts," Mr. O'Brien said. Besides her husband, Mrs. O'Brien is also survived by her sons, Sean P. O'Brien of Cincinnati and Matthew C. O'Brien of Villa Hills; and a sister, Carol Stenken Beirne of Fort Wright.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Lakeside Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m Thursday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Odell L. Andrews, 83, of Canton, Ohio, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired foreman with Great Lakes Construction Co., a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Dennison, Ohio, and the NAACP, and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include sons, Otis Lloyd of Peru, Ind., Gregory Andrews of Lawrenceville, Ga., Larry Andrews of San Francisco, Marvin Andrews of Canton and Gary Andrews of Covington; daughters, Mary Jo Andrews of Cincinnati and Gwendolyn Jones of Canton; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Friday at Rhoden Memorial Home, Canton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Canton.

Betty J. Michaelis Arnsparger, 78, of Alexandria, died at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Health Care Center, Highland Heights. She was a retired tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service.

Survivors include her husband, W. Keith Arnsparger; a son, Joseph M. Dean of Erlanger; Clara E. Trapwell of Alexandria, Donna R. Dean of Tomah, Wis., and Terri A. Dean of Independence; a brother, Lawrence O. Michaelis of Indianapolis; sisters, Loretta "Mickey" Gumble and Pauline "Mike" Schalk, both of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ruth Wills Bailey, 83, of Dry Ridge, died Tuesday at her home. She was a retired teacher with the Grant and Kenton counties boards of education, and a member of Capt. John Lillard Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of the Eastern Star No. 301 in Williamstown, and United Methodist Church, Williamstown. She was also a member of the church United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Wayne Bailey; a son, Richard Wills Bailey of Summerville, S.C.; a daughter, Deborah Louise Powers of Verona, Va.; brothers, Julian Wills of Williamstown and William S. Wills of Springfield; a sister, Louise Wills of Williamstown; and four grandchildren.

Edna Gertrude Dickmeyer, 93, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Latonia, died at 1:55 a.m. Monday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia. Her husband, Harry Dickmeyer, died in 1985.

Clyde Phillip Downard, 77, of Falmouth, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.

He was a farmer, a school bus driver with Pendleton County Schools, and an employee of the Pendleton County Road Department. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, Pendleton County.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Downard; a son, Phillip Dale Downard of Crestview; brothers, Roy B. Downard and Jasper Downard, both of Foster; a sister, Bertha Florence of Falmouth; and eight grandchildren.

Her husband, Eugene Jenkins, and a daughter, Barbara Wedding, both preceded her in death.
