Mr. Edgar Gabbert, age 83, of Forrest Hills Drive, Campbellsville, died Monday, January 9, 2006 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lunsford and Cordia Dunbar Gabbert, two brothers, Zack Skaggs, Calvin Gabbert, five sisters, Frances Wovley, Edna Cundiff, Stella Richardson, Verna Schaenherr, and Mildred Gabbert. Mr. Gabbert was retired as manager of Interstate Auto Parts. He was united in marriage to Imogene Bailey Gabbert on April 10, 1948 He was an elder and deacon of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Imogene Bailey Gabbert, one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Tom Crouch of Lexington. Funeral services for Mr. Edgar Gabbert will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Revs. Joe Hatchett and Tim Shockley, officiating.

J. C. HOLMES, AGE 81
J. C. Holmes, age 81, of Ingram Avenue, Campbellsville, died Thursday, January 5, 2006, at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Florence Burton Holmes, one sister, Lucille Roy. He was a retired cab driver. He is survived by four brothers, Edgar Holmes of Columbia, Carl Holmes and Herbert Holmes of Campbellsville, Charles Holmes of Louisville and one sister, Marie Vaughn of Campbellsville along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mr. J. C. Holmes will be conducted at 1:00 P. M. Sunday, January 8, 2006, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia. The family request from 5 to 9 P. M. Saturday at Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home.

RETTA NOEL AGE 62
Retta B. Noel, age 62, of E Poe Young Road, Campbellsville, died Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert L. & Evelyn Noel Cox, one son, Barry Noel, six brothers, Wendell, Jimmie, Carmen, Mitchell, David, Bobby and Rodger Cox and one sister, Brenda Cox. She is survived by her husband, Carlton Noel, three sons, Jason, Jamie and Brandon Noel all of Campbellsville, seven daughters, Loretta Reynolds of Indiana, Miranda Noel of Elizabethtown, Carla Smith, Lisa Webb, Amanda Noel, Kierstie Noel and Kayla Noel all of Campbellsville, four brothers, Ronald Cox, Timmy Cox, and Lewis Cox of Campbellsville, Carroll Cox of Maryland Lana Pendleton, Patricia McDonald, Doris Williams, Sherry Cox, Peggy Gilbert of Campbellsville, one grandchild, Austin Noel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday June 11, at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Raymond Hollins and Todd Gabehart, officiating.

RONALD KEITH RUCKER, AGE 54
Ronald Keith Rucker, age 54, of Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, died Friday at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Hazel Coontz Rucker, one son, Brian Rucker, and two brothers, James and Charles Rucker. He is survived by one son, Barry Rucker of Campbellsville, three daughters and son-in-law, Stacy and Gary Reynolds, Dana Bryant of Greensburg, Tonya Ferrie of Campbellsville, nine grandchildren, Ariel and Autumn Ferrie, Ananlese Rucker, Brittany and Kimberlyn and Cody Bryant, Megan and Austin Reynolds and Dara Rucker, one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Marilyn Rucker of Elizabethtown, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Glenn Spratt and Mary Lynn and Richard Kirtley of Campbellsville. Funeral services for Ronald Keith Rucker will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Rev. Tim Shockley officiating.

ANN WALLACE PHILLIPS, AGE 50
Ann Wallace Phillips, age 50, of Larkview Drive, Henderson, formerly of Campbellsville died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Henderson, Kentucky. She was employed by the Green River Health District as a social worker. She is survived by her parents Wallace and Maxine Davis Phillips of Campbellsville. Also surviving are uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services for Ann Wallace Phillips will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ted Beam, officiating.

WILLIAM ROY WETHINGTON AGE 92
Mr. William Roy Wethington, age 92, of Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Medco Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late John Willie and Ida Williams Wethington. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Otis Wethington and two sisters, Edna Tucker and Helen Cave. He was a charter member of the Woodlawn Christian Church, a World War II veteran, Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Casey Creek Masonic Lodge. He was a retired businessman. He is survived by his wife, Maurice Walker Wethington of Campbellsville, one daughter and son-in-law, Ouida and Wendell Rivers, of Campbellsville, one grandson, Damon Rivers of Campbellsville and two sisters-in-law, Alice Wethington and Mildred Walker of Campbellsville. Also surviving, are special cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. William Roy Wethington, will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Bros. EVERETT BISHOP, AGE 68
Everett Bishop, age 68, of Davis Street, Campbellsville, died Sunday at the University of Louisville Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parent, Wathall and Edna Clark Bishop. He was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God, a retired employee of Sears and Walmart. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bishop of Campbellsville, one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Rebecca Bishop of Fountain Run, two daughters and son-in-law, Genean and Barry Lane and Shelly Bishop of Campbellsville, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles (C. J. ) Bishop and Danny Bishop of Campbellsville, two sisters, Mary Lois (Maggie ) Powell and Judy Vetter both of Campbellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Chappel Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County DAV. Bro. Ben Spencer and Bro. Robbie Spencer officiating.

CLIFFORD KYLE COLLETT, AGE 38
Clifford Kyle Collett, Jr, age 38, of Smith Ridge Road Campbellsville, died Saturday, April 29, 2006. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ryder Collett in 1989. He is survived by one daughter, Whitley Nicole Collett of Campbellsville, his mother and step-father, Betty and Jim Gilbert of Bradfordsville, his father, Clifford Collett of Corbin, one brother, Chris Collett of Corbin and one sister, Savannah Gilbert of Bradfordsville, his grandfather, Olan Hall of Campbellsville, three step-brothers, John Russell Gilbert of Bradfordsville, Michael Gilbert of Bardstown, David Gilbert of Lebanon, two step sisters, Cindy Gilbert of Campbellsville and Missy Gilbert of Bardstown. Funeral services for Clifford Kyle Collett, Jr will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Rev. Gene Shields, officiating.

EMMA CARTER FARMER, AGE 89
Emma Carter Farmer, age 89, of Lowell Avenue Campbellsville, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Candice Rafferty Paige, one grandchild, Celeste Colleen Cochran, one sister Jessie Benningfield, one brother, Lafe Paige and one half brother, James Colvin She is survived by her husband, Milton Farmer, one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald & Wilma Jean Farmer, of Campbellsville, two daughters and son-in-law, Frances & Paul Anderson, Campbellsville, Georgia Jacobs of Lebanon, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, one step grandchild. Also surviving is one brother, Frank Paige of Illinois, two sisters, Margaret Tucker and Sarah Wayne of Campbellsville. Funeral services for Emma Carter Farmer will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday at the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church will burial to follow in the Brockman Cemetery. Rev. Vic Stansbury, officiating.

VIRGIL WARREN AGE 94
Virgil Warren age 94 of Robinson Ridge Road, Knifley, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home. He was the oldest member of Robinson Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lettie Warren, his wife Thelma Warren (1999), one son, Troy Warren, one sister, Dora Warren, ten brothers, Paul, Oral, Shelby, Olis, Mitchell, John, Joseph, Clyde, Roy and Estil Warren. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Audrey Warren of Columbia, Eventis and Francis Warren, Russell and Paula Warren, all of Knifley, Bennie and Betty Warren of Dunnville, three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and Rev. George Hancock, Vonda and Frankie Welliver, Linda and Larry Hughes all of Knifley, one daughter-in-law, Juanita Warren of Columbia, eighteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother Welby Warren of Knifley, along with a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Virgil Warren will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Robinson Chapel cemetery. Rev. LLOYD CLIFTON "BUCK" CARTER, AGE 65
Lloyd Clifton “Buck” Carter, Hickory Grove Road, Campbellsville died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at his residence after a tractor accident.
He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom, Jamestown and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Maurine Carter, two brothers, Lawton Carter and Willis Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Carter, one son and daughter-in-law, Clifton and Kim Carter of Campbellsville and one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gary York of Campbellsville, six grandchildren, three brothers, Jerry Carter of Campbellsville, Garnett Carter and Weldon Carter of Louisville, two sisters, Linda Cundiff and Christine DeWeese of Campbellsville.
Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
