Margo Blakey
CAVE CITY — Margo Blakey, 89, of Cave City died Nov. 1, 1999, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Cumberland County native was a retired teacher in Barren County, Metcalfe County and Bowling Green school systems.
She was a daughter of the late Henry Pace and Leta Pace.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cave City Christian Church, where she was a member, with burial in Horse Cave Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Margo and Charles Blakey Scholarship Fund at College Heights Foundation, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky
Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Blakey; a brother, Robert Newman Pace of Bowling Green; and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Butler of Florence, Ala., and Mrs. Lee Worrel of Naples, Fla.
Finis Boards
Finis Boards, 55, of Smiths Grove died at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 2, 1999, at his home.
The Warren County native was a retired truck driver for Whayne Supply Co. and a member of Icy Sink Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Earl Boards and Aline Houchins Boards of Smiths Grove, who survives.
Funeral arrangements, which are incomplete, are under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove chapel.
Burial will be in Icy Sink Cemetery.
Other survivors include his wife, Priscilla Arnold Boards; a son, Michael Boards of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Deverly Sweatt of Bowling Green; a stepson, Terry Britt of Columbia, Tenn.; four sisters, Ada Boards, Margaret Ann Barber, Joyce Boards and Betty Hadley, all of Bowling Green; a brother, Henry Boards of Bowling Green; two grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
Beulah A. Bullington
SCOTTSVILLE — Beulah Alta Bullington, 81, of Scottsville died at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 1, 1999, at The Medical Center.
The Allen County native was a press operator for Mechanics Laundry in Indianapolis and a member of Corinth General Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph Lavern Wilson and Samantha Lou Ella Heath Wilson and wife of the late Bedford Denton Bullington.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress today at the Funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, A.J. Bullington and Roger Dean Bullington, both of Scottsville; a daughter, Jessie Bowling of Martinsville, Ind.; a brother, Joseph C. Wilson of Scottsville; a sister, Adell Shockley of Scottsville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandsons.
Jack D. Graves
WESTMORELAND, Tenn. — Jack Daniel Graves, 71, of Park City, Kentucky, died Nov. 2, 1999, at his home.
The Sharron native was a Korean War veteran and a retired Chrysler Corp. employee.
He was a son of the late John Virgil Graves and Grace Rowlett Graves and husband of the late Clara Miller Graves.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with burial in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress at the Funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Graves and David Graves, both of Park City; a daughter, Pamela Graves of Park City; three brothers, Howard Graves of Martin, Cordell Graves of Hartsville and John Graves of Bethpage; two sisters, Thelma Clark of Westmoreland and Betty Jean Lamasters of Park City; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Roger D. Hays
Roger D. Hays, 39, of Bowling Green died at 7:18 p.m. Nov. 2, 1999, at a Bowling Green nursing home.
The Indianapolis native was an engineer colleague for Tower Automotive and a Baptist.
He was a son of the late Homer Hays and Shirley Goad Hays of Bowling Green, who survives.
Funeral arrangements, which are incomplete, are under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Other survivors include his wife, Tina Helton Hays; a daughter, Heather Ann Hays of Bowling Green; a sister, Renee Hays of Bowling Green; three brothers, Ricky Hays of Indianapolis, Ronnie Hays of Andros Island, Bahamas, and Robin Hays of Bowling Green.
Nellie Huff
SUMMER SHADE — Nellie Huff, 81, of Bowling Green died Nov. 2, 1999, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Cumberland County native was a daughter of the late Jack Slaughter and Bertha Fansler Slaughter and wife of the late Frank Huff.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Willow Shade Church of Christ, where she was a member, with burial in Beaumont Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Grissom of Louisville and Ann Snyder of Bowling Green; two sons, Jerry Huff and Ronnie Huff, both of Louisville; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Scott McLean
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Scott McLean, 82, of Kiawah Island, formerly of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died Nov. 1, 1999, at a Charleston hospital.
The Belgrade, Mo., native was a retired manufacturer of wood products in Merrill, Wis., and Bowling Green.
He was a son of the late Andrew Bruce McLean and Hardena Carrico McLean.
Funeral will be private. J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home, Downtown chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Strassheim McLean; a son, Scott McLean of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two daughters, Laurie Deemer of London and Heather McLean of Seabrook Island; and five grandchildren.
Elvena M. Stevenson
FRANKLIN — Elvena Meadows Stevenson, 87, of Franklin died Oct. 29, 1999, at a Franklin nursing home.
The Chicago native was a daughter of the late Sally Meadows and wife of the late Eddie Stevenson.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. today at Elevated Baptist Church with burial in Townsend Grove Cemetery in Logan County.
Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include several cousins.
Corinne C. Brown
RUSSELLVILLE — Corinne C. Brown, 81, of Russellville died Nov. 9, 1999, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
The Logan County native was a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Guy K. Clark and Agnes Gordon Clark and wife of the late Macon C. Brown.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Berks Brown of Russellville; two daughters, Ann B. Kemp of Olmstead and Jane B. Warden of McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

GLASGOW — Doris Ann Carey, 58, of Glasgow died Nov. 9, 1999, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
The Cumberland County native was a daughter of the late Mitchell Carey and Cledith Branham Carey.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home.
Survivors include a brother, Sherman A. Carey of Cave City; three sisters, Freda M. Thomason of Cave City, Betty C. Spencer of Glasgow and Deloise Faye Moore of Bowling Green; a half-brother, Bill Carey of Cave City; a half-sister, Mary Lee Howell of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.
