Eva Dell Barker Droege, 102, of Fort Thomas, died at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a school teacher in Hickory Grove, and also served as a nurse for several doctors in Fort Thomas. Her husband, Leon Droege, died in 1952, and a son, Art Droege, died in 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Barto of Fort Thomas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery, California. Memorials are suggested to Baptist Convalescent Center, 120 Main St., Newport, Ky. 41071; or charity of donor's choice.

Jacob William Goecke Jr., 59, of Augusta, died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
Survivors include sons, Michael Thomas Goecke of Arkansas, Jacob William Goecke III of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Eduard Talton Goecke of Memphis, Mich.; daughters, Chandra Mar Wachter of Augusta and Deanna Denice Goecke of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Betty McClanahan of Augusta; a brother, Edward Allen Goecke of Augusta; seven grandchildren and two step- grandchildren.

Mary Evolyn Cracraft Mains, 86, of Maysville, died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at Maysville Extended Care Center. She was a homemaker. Her husband, John L. Mains, preceded her in death.

Sophia A. McCurdy, 98, of Southgate, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a retired registered nurse with Bethesda Hospital, Cincinnati. Her husbands, Herbert Fuldner and Charles McCurdy, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Herbert M. Fuldner of Southgate; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Kay L. Ramundo-Wooten, 47, of Cincinnati, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Anderson Mercy Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a registered nurse with Veterans Medical Hospital, and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tenn., the Kentucky Nurses Association and the Combined Federal Fund.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Wooten; her parents, Frank P. and June Wilson Ramundo of Cincinnati; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Montgomery of Green Township, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Alicia M. Wooten of Hinesville, Ga.; and brothers, Walter Lynn Brown Jr. of Merryville, Tenn., Jeff Brown of Leyland, Ill., and Marty Brown of Illinois.

Anna Schweitzer, 100, of Iowa City, Iowa, formerly of Kenton County, died Monday at her son's home in Iowa City.
She was a former employee of H&S Pogue Co., Cincinnati, and a member of St. Anthony Church, Taylor Mill.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Dramatic Circle, and participated in many plays at the Covington Library Auditorium for the benefit of the church.
Her husband, Frank Schweitzer, died in 1970.
Survivors include sons, John Schweitzer of Iowa City and Frank Schweitzer of San Antonio; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Corinne Shay, 96, of Florence, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Woodspoint Nursing Home in Florence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Florence Baptist Church and Boone County Senior Citizens.
Her husband, John W. Shay, died in 1963.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Judge Satterwhite's services on Saturday
Services for Circuit Court Judge Charles F. Satterwhite will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Owenton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the church. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton.
Satterwhite, 50, of Owenton, died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville from complications of infections. He was a circuit judge in in the 15th Judicial District, serving Carroll, Grant and Owen counties.
Judge Satterwhite was a member of the American, Kentucky and Owen County bar associations, the Kentucky Circuit and American judges associations and the Salmon P. Chase American Inn of Court. He was a former district judge in the 15th Judicial District. He was active in the Judicial Mentor Program, was a faculty member for orientation for new Kentucky circuit judges, and was a speaker with Peoples Law School.
Judge Satterwhite also served as a judicial adviser to the Kentucky Bar Association Committee on Paralegals and was an instructor with the National Judicial College Special Ju risdiction Court program in 1985. In 1992, he co-authored 'Stress in Jurors: A Challenge for the Legal and Mental Systems' for the Journal of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Judge Satterwhite was a federal and state coordinator with the Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Program of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, a past president of the Owen County Literacy Council, a speaker with Peoples Law School, a volunteer judge for the Annual High School Mock Trial Competition and a moderator with First Baptist Church on Owenton. He was a member of the board of directors of Trust for Life and the American Lung Association, was selected to be included in the Owenton County Wall of Fame in 1992 and was named Owen Countian of the Year in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Winkle Satterwhite; and a daughter, Sara Satterwhite of Owenton.

Paul R. Hackman, volunteer for regional Kidney Foundation
Paul R. Hackman dedicated his life to being a volunteer for the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati and the Ohio Valley LifeCenter.
For the last 20 years Mr. Hackman has educated teens, adults and health-care professionals about organ donations and the effects of Diabetes. and kidney disease. Each year he gave 150 to 200 presentations on organ donation and renal health in high schools, nursing schools, fraternal organizations, churches and local businesses.
Mr. Hackman, 60, of Forest Park, Ohio, formerly of Covington, died Wednesday at his home.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati and was chief accountant at Totes Inc., Cincinnati. He was diagnosed with juvenile Diabetes. at the age of 17. In 1973 he lost his eyesight. In 1975, he received a kidney transplant.
He served on the executive board of the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, the Clovernook Center for the Blind and was the founder of the Kidney Patient Council. He was a member of the St. Matthias Church, Forest Park.
He was a Third Degree Knight with the Glenmary Council Knights of Columbus No. 5674. He was instrumental in getting House Bill 650 passed in the Ohio Legislature, allowing the Uniform Organ Donor card to be a part of the Ohio drivers license.
Recently he was awarded the J.C. Penney Golden Rule Award for his volunteer efforts. He was a torch bearer for the Olympic Flame on June 7, 1996. On May 4, 1998, he was awarded the highest honor bestowed by the National Order of the K of C, the 'Daily Points of Life Award' for outstanding community service.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joyce Hackman; a daughter, Vicki Nesslinger of Columbus; sons, Dan Hackman of West Chester, Ohio, Steve Hackman of Fairfield, Ohio, Mark Hackman of Mason, Ohio, and Chris Hackman of Harrison, Ohio; a brother, Robert Hackman of Fort Wright; a sister, Laverne Boing of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Vorhis Funeral Home, Springdale, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon St. Matthias Church. Burial will be Monday in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

Clifford Hart, co-owned H&H Auto Service
Clifford A. Hart of Taylor Mill was interested in the mechanics of the world - and the workings of the human soul.
A retired co-owner of the former H&H Auto Service Co. in Latonia, Mr. Hart was so active at Madison Avenue Christian Church in Covington that he got a special award of appreciation in 1993.
Mr. Hart was an elder and Sunday school teacher and also was chairman of the church trustees and the church property committee.
'His faith was extremely important,' said his son, Gary Hart of Taylor Mill. 'He just liked to serve other people. He liked to help people along the way.'
Mr. Hart died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood. He was 77 years old.
Mr. Hart was born and reared in Pendleton County. He co-owned H&H Auto Service Co. from 1955 to 1985, doing mechanical repair and body work.
'Anything mechanical, Dad loved to do,' his son said.
'He could fix just about anything that was broken, regardless of whether it was electrical, plumbing or carpentry.'
Mr. Hart also was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and liked being outdoors, whether he was working, hunting, fishing or camping, his son said.
Other survivors include his wife, Wilma L. Baumgartner Hart; a brother, Earl V. Hart of Falmouth; and a sister, Faye Hart Huffman of Walton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Madison Avenue Christian Church. Visitation will be noon to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery
in Falmouth.

Freddie Thomas Ellison, 63, of Mount Olivet, died Wednesday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. He was a carpenter, a member of Blue Licks Assembly of God Church of Mount Olivet and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
