Audie Lee Edwards Emmons

Audie Lee Edwards Emmons, 82 years old, a long time resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana , died Monday, January 18, 2010, in North Oaks Medical Center.

She was born on Monday, May 9, 1927, in and native of Scott County, Mississippi, daughter of the late Clark Edwards and the late Maude Edwards Hastings.

Mrs. Emmons was a member of French Corner Baptist Church .

Surviving are her husband, Louin Pat Emmons and 3 daughter & son-in-law, Linda and James Kelly, Patsy and Norman Guedry, Debbie and Robert Landry; son & daughter-in-law, Danny and Julie Emmons; sister, Wanda Hastings; 6 grandchildren, Don Kelly, Melissa Lusco, Gawain Guedry, Holly Kessler, Tiffany Thompson and Bryan Landry; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 3 brothers Joe, Billy and Bobby Edwards.

Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

Bobbye McMichael Hall

A homemaker, resident of Baton Rouge, former resident of Hammond and Gulf Breeze, FL, Passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her daughter’s home at age 83. Memorial visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Thursday, January 21, 2010, after 10 am until 12 noon. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Robert N. Core and Jenny Core, Frisco, TX; daughter, Nina Core Miller, Baton Rouge; granddaughter, Katherine Camille Miller.

She is preceded in death by father Robert Roy McMichael and mother Montoria Gay McMichael and two aunts, Nina Katherine McMichael and Patricia Gay Midland. Special thanks to Sophie Waker. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Life Source Hospice, 3049 S Sherwood Forest #100, Baton Rouge, LA 70816-2277 or a charity of your choice.

Jane Alice Doddington Meyer

Jane Alice Doddington Meyer, 88 years old of Ponchatoula, LA, died January 17, 2010 at home.

She was born on November 28, 1921 in Ionia, Michigan. A life long resident of Benton Harbor, Michigan, she lived the last 12 years with her daughter and son-in-law in Ponchatoula, LA.

Surviving are her three children, Roger Meyer of Hurst, Texas , Cheryl Meyer Dugopolski and husband Mark of Ponchatoula, Louisiana , Chris Meyer of Naples, Florida, a sister, Beverly Wendt of Warren, Michigan, and a brother, Maurice Doddington of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Brien Meyer and wife Joni of Colorado, Allen Meyer and wife Amber of Texas , Sarah Dugopolski Lusk of Louisiana , Alisha Dugopolski Melton and husband William of Indiana, Ashley Meyer of Indiana, Chris Meyer II of Florida, and 2 great-grandchildren, Joshua Meyer of Arizona and Tatum Meyer of Colorado .

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest W. Doddington and Faye T. Doddington, her husband Henry Meyer of Benton Harbor, Michigan, 2 brothers, Donald Doddington, and Duane Doddington, 2 sisters Dorothy Kaufman and Lorraine Haynes. Also preceding her in death is daughter-in-law Andrea Meyer and grandson Henry Allen Meyer and his wife Heather Meyer of Texas .

Friends will be received Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Florin Funeral Service/ Dey-Florin Chapel, in St. Joseph MI. from 9:00a.m. until services.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel, Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 10:00a.m.

interment will follow in the North Shore Memory Gardens.

MARY AGNES MUSSO

INDEPENDENCE - Mary Agnes Musso, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at the Hammond Nursing Home.

She was an accountant.

She is survived by three sisters, Frances Sinagra, Camella Musso and Tina Musso, all of Independence.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dominick and Rose Musso; one brother, Emile Musso, Sr.; and one sister, Catherine Musso.

Visitation will be Thursday at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, from 9 a.m. until the funeral at noon. Dutch Schanzbach will conduct the service, and burial will be in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence.

McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge.

MARRION RAYON AND AR'MARQUITA C'MON SAULSBERRY

AMITE - Infant boy Marrion Rayon Saulsberry and infant girl Ar'Marquita C'Mon Saulsberry, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond.

The twins are survived by their mother, Betty Saulsberry; a sister, Tryaneika Iyanna Saulsberry; a brother, Jarvis Vashon Saulsberry; a grandmother, Fannie Saulsberry; and a grandfather, Major Coleman.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m., and burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montpelier.

Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge of the arrangements.

LOUIS MAKLARY

SPRINGFIELD - Louis Maklary, 65, a native of Albany, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at North Oaks Medical Center.

He was a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Geannette Maklary, Ponchatoula; one daughter, Christine Thornhill, Hammond; three sons, Paul Maklary, Tickfaw; Michael Maklary, Tifton, Ga.; and Mark Maklary, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Esther Lee, Greenwell Springs; and Mary Howard, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; Julius Maklary, Douglas, Ariz.; Michael Maklary, Yarbo Linda, Calif.; William Maklary, Foxworth, Miss.; Joe Maklary, Orange Beach, Fla.; and John Maklary, Fort Worth, Texas ; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie Bartus Maklary and William Maklary; one sister, Elizabeth Glisky; and one brother, Alexander Maklary.

The Rev. Vernice Wolfe conducted the funeral this morning at Hungarian Presbyterian Church, and burial was in the church cemetery.

Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, was in charge.

LOUISE SCHILLING

Louise Schilling, 78, a native of New Orleans, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, at Ochsner Medical Center.

She was a seamstress and a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, Hammond.

She is survived by three sisters, Rita Hague Huber, Avondale; Mildred Schneider Guidry, New Orleans; and Helen Schneider Guenther, Chalmette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carey B. Schilling.

The Rev. Leon Dunn will conduct the funeral today at 3 p.m. at Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, and burial will be in Silver Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Osyka, Miss.

ESTHER OHINIO WAGNON

PONCHATOULA - Esther Ohinio Wagnon, a native of New Orleans, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Wagnon.

Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

LUCILLE WILSON

PONCHATOULA - Lucille Wilson, a 78-year-old homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Bernice Wilson, Ponchatoula; and Betty Wilson, Everett, Wash.; three sons, Willie, Robert and Ernest Wilson all of Ponchatoula; one sister, Lucy Gaten, Ponchatoula; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death two brothers, Eugene Hickerson and Eddie Harris; and four sisters, Lubertha Pheams, Margaret Hickerson, Ruby Synder and Gladys Pheams.

The Rev. Carl Coleman will conduct funeral Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, and burial will be in Ponchatoula Cemetery.

ELENOR FEKETE BEREGI

ALBANY - Elenor Fekete Beregi, 71, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs.

She was a native of West Virginia and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband. E.C. "Jimmy" Beregi; four daughters, Vivian Stewart and Debbi Wheat, Livingston, Lynn Courtney, Holden, Janis Ward, Clute, Texas ; son, Jimmy C. Beregi, Livingston; two sisters, Helen Myeki, Albany, Theresa Tennison, Angleton, Texas ; three brothers, Everette Fekete, Gonzales, Julius "Eddie" Fekete, Tickfaw, Irvin Fekete, Albany; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Elizabeth Wilburn, Irene Hager; and three brothers, Joe Jr., Franklin Sr. and Alex Fekete, preceded her in death.

The Rev. Linda Hagan conducted the funeral Saturday at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, and burial was in Presbyterian Cemetery, Albany.

CARLYN COX CARTER

Carlyn Cox Carter, 87, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond.

A native of Mississippi, she was a resident of Hammond for the past 60 years.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Carter, Baton Rouge, and Dr. Thad Carter, Pass Christian, Miss.; two daughters, Sarah Ross and Carlyn Nicolosi, both of Hammond; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood T.C. Carter; daughter, Carol Carter; sister, Thais Yeager; and brother Keith Cox.

Visitation will be today at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 2 p.m. until the funeral at 3. The Rev. William Eubanks will conduct the service, and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
