CLARA DYSON
Clara Dyson, 85, died Monday, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Hammond Nursing Home.
A native of Wilmer, she is survived by one son, Roosevelt James of Springfield.
The funeral will be tonight at 7 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Wilmer. Dismissal will be Saturday at 9 a.m., and burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery.

LOUIS HALL
ALBANY -- Louis Hall, 87, a native of St. Francisville, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004.
He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia Ashton of Albany and Ediene Brumfield of Hammond; one son, W.C. Brumfield of Albany; one brother, Ruffin Hall of New Orleans; and one grandchild,two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hammond, at 11 a.m. followed by burial at the church cemetery. The Rev. Ivory Williams will officiate.
EDDIE H. TAYLOR
Eddie H. Taylor , 42, a native of Berrien Springs, Mich., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004.
Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Taylor of Hammond; three daughters, Triwonna Primus, Tarnisha Taylor and Alitha Taylor , all of Hammond; two sons, Dontae Taylor and Eddie Taylor Jr., both of Hammond; five sisters, Linda Taylor and Shawanda Johnson , both of California, Phillis Weber, Valcrie Brown and Tonya Neal, all of Hammond; seven brothers, George Taylor Jr. of California, Vernon Taylor of Atlanta, Robert Taylor Sr., Herman, Keith, Phillip and Curtis Taylor , all of Hammond; and two grandchildren.
His parents, George and Ruby Mae Taylor ; his sister, Velma Taylor ; and his brother, Emmit Taylor , preceded him in death.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Hammond. The Rev. Samuel Brown will conduct the funeral at 8. Dismissal will be Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.
GEORGIA CALCOTA
ALBANY -- Homemaker Georgia Calcota, 53, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, in Independence.
A native of Albany, she is survived by three daughters, Tanita Garner of Tickfaw, Stacy Hemphill of Albany and Sharon Calcota of Hammond; three sons, Ernest, Clifton and Clinton Calcota, all of Albany; one sister, Annie Bell Gross of Albany; two brothers, Jessie Gross of Albany and Elvis Gross of Florida; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 10 until the funeral at 11 a.m. The Rev. Douglas McClain will officiate.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.
EARL J. DELT
PONCHATOULA -- Visitation will be tonight at Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 to 8 p.m. for Earl J. Delt.
Delt, 74, a native of Ponchatoula and former construction worker, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula.
His parents preceded him in death.
The funeral will be Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 1 p.m. followed by burial at Holy Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.
MARIE C. DENHAM-LECOURT
LAPLACE -- Marie C. Denham, 24, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, due to lung complications.
Having been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, she was a participant in several fund-raisers with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
She was a graduate of East St. John High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. Her field of study was nutrition.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Lecourt; her parents, Wayne and Karen Denham; her sister, Emily E. Denham; and her grandparents, David and Margaret Carter.
A wake will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace.
Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.
RONALD R. DUPUY SR.
PONCHATOULA --Owner and operator of Pul' Duiex Catering since 1998, Ronald R. Dupuy Sr., 61, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Ponchatoula.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he retired from Exxon after 30 years of service.
His organization memberships included being current monarch of Al-Azar Grotto of Baton Rouge; past member of the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge of Ponchatoula; past worthy patron of Hope Villa Eastern Star; and past monarch of Royal Arch of Baton Rouge.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca W. Dupuy of Ponchatoula; one son, Ronald R. Dupuy Jr. of Addis; two daughters, Robin D. Rothman of Brusly and Kimberly T. Hemphill of Monroe; nine grandchildren; his mother, Jessie Evans Dupuy of Ponchatoula; and one brother, Terry L. Dupuy of Folsom.
His father, Reid Dupuy, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Friday at Westside Baptist Church, Ponchatoula, located at 40375 West I-55 Service Road, from 5 until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 until the funeral at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Sand Hill Cemetery.

GREENSBURG -- Funeral services were held Saturday at Turner Chapel AME Church, Greensburg, and followed by burial at the church cemetery for John Henry Hall.
Hall, 86, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mae Crier Hall; two daughters, Eunice Harris of Amite and Junice Marie Robertson of Lithonia, Ga.; 11 sons, Lawrence Hall of Avondale, Adolph and Roland Hall, both of Wasilla, Ark.; Charles Albert Hall of New Orleans, Eual Lee and Wennal Harrell Hall, both of Baton Rouge; Clifton Wallace Hall of Springlake, N.C., Emanuel Hall of Decatur, Ga., Lorin Eugene, William and Cleo Hall, all of Greensburg; five sisters, Lola Ard, Madeline Hall, Doris Gordon, Betty Jean Sago and Diane Edwards; 51 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren and 13 step great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 followed with burial at Greenlawn Mausoleum, Hammond.
Cucchiara, 92, a native of Independence, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Lobue Cucchiara; one son, Dr. Chuck J. Cucchiara of Kenner; two grandchildren; and one brother, Roy Cucchiara of Hammond.
His parents, Peter and Camelia Cucchiara; and three brothers, Benny, Frank and Mario Cucchiara, preceded him in death.

PONCHATOULA -- Ronald R. Dupuy Sr. died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
Owner of Pul'deiux Catering, Dupuy was retired from Exxon after 30 years of service.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond.
DOMINICK JAMES LAROCK
MARKSVILLE -- Former Independence resident Dominick James LaRock, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Colonial Nursing Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Roxanne Maupin and Mary Gordon, both of Orlando, Fla., and Deborrah Calmes of Louisiana ; one brother, John LaRock of Independence; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 9 until 10 a.m. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence.
Burial will be at Colonial Mausoleum.
SYLVIA LYNN WITTE OCHSNER
ROBERT -- Burial will be at Ochsner Family Cemetery
in Robert for Sylvia Lynn Witte Ochsner, 71, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at her home.
A native of Robert, she is survived by three sons, Daniel T. and David K. Ochsner, both of Robert, and Denver L. Ochsner of Holden; one daughter, Joy O. Hood of Robert; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Patricia Wittie Bauers and Hilda Marie Stanga; and a brother, Curtis C. Wittie.
Her husband, Adrian Ochsner; two sons, Johnny and Bobby Oschsner; and one sister, Rose Anne Wittie Willie, preceded her in death.
