Funeral services for Jamie Rayner, 25, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with Minister Benny Baker officiating and the Rev. Don Brown assisting. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was to begin at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 21, at the funeral home.
Mr. Rayner, a native and resident of Minden, Passed away Monday, Feb. 18, in Shreveport. He worked in technical support for Innersoft.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Dorothy Rayner.
He is survived by his parents, A.J. and Judy Rayner of Minden; grandparents, Tom and Marie Dooly; brother, Joey Rayner and wife Katherine; nephew, Glenn Rayner all of Minden; uncles, Kennith and wife Delores Dooly of Minden; Mike and wife Barbara Dooley of Minden; Pat and wife Debbie Dooly of Atlanta, Ark.; Bobby Dooly of Baytown, Texas ; Rodney and wife Susan Dooly, Dan and wife Lanea Dooley and Ernie and wife Rena Rayner, all of Minden; aunts, Kay and husband Billy Lafitte of Homer; Ella and husband Chuck Cannaday of Pineville; Ruth Jennings of Alexandria; and one special little boy, Zachary Butler.
Pallbearers will be his first cousins Keith Herbert; Jon Rayner; Scotty Rayner; Toby Dooly; Micheal Dooley; and Steve Dooly. Honorary pallbearers will be his first cousins and two close friends, Kacy Dooly; Mark Dooly; Shawn Dooly; Bubba Dooly; Jesse Moore; Jason Moore; Cody Dooly; Al Gray and Todd Butler.

Mable Graham
Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Graham will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church in Minden. Burial will be held at Mt. Comfort Cemetery under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Family hour will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home. Remains will lie in state at 10 a.m. the day of services.

Ronald Wayne Butler
Graveside services for Mr. Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Butler, 43, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Woodard Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Earhart officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Mr. Butler, a native and resident of Minden, Passed away in McIntyre Community. He was a welder for Woods Tank Co.
He is survived by his parents, J.C. and Minnie Sue Butler of Minden; sons, Jared Mills Butler, Jeremiah Mills Butler, Ronnie Butler Hickman and wife Kim, Dustin Butler Hickman and stepson Jacob Mills, all of Minden; sister, Rena Hickman of Sibley; brother, Robert C. Butler of Minden; special uncle, Frenchie Williams; and a host of friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Keith Terrell, Tony Brown, Ray Lemay, Jasper Savena, Brandon Butler, Roger Pittman and Bernard Balch.

Ellis James Smith III
Graveside services for Mr. Ellis James Smith III, 42, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Ichter officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Mr. Smith, a resident of Shreveport, Passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Shreveport. He was born Nov. 20, 1959, in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaunice Rozelle.
He is survived by his father, Ellis J. Smith II; sister, Jennifer Smith; brother, Dickson Smith; stepsister, Marie Rozelle of Bossier City and stepmother, Marilon Smith.

Clifford Evans
Funeral services for Mr. Clifford "Cliffie" Evans, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Pine Hill CME Church on U.S. 79. Burial will follow at Meadows Cemetery under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held until evening today, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mr. Evans is survived by his aunt, Fannie Bell of Homer; brothers, Dalton Speech Jr. and Gene Speech, both of Richmond, Calif.; sister, Lillian Williams of Richmond; cousin, John W. Cooper Jr. of Haynesville; and other relatives and friends.

Classie Jackson
Funeral services for Mrs. Classie Jackson , 75, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Blue Run Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. Anthony Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson , a resident of Minden, Passed away Monday, Feb. 11, at Dubuis Hospital in Shreveport.
She is survived by her son, Julius Jackson of Germany; daughters, Barbara Turner and Wanda Holmes, both of Minden, Gloria Henderson of Houston, Texas ; and two grandchildren.

Robia Clark
Funeral services for Mrs. Robia Mae Morris Adams Clark will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Mayflower Baptist Church with the Rev. J.J. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery under the direction of Patterson Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clark was educated in the Webster Parish School system. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She was a member of Mayflower Baptist Church and was an active choir member until becoming ill. While on her sick bed, she continued to sing songs for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Aggie) Morris.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Clark; daughters, Rosie Clark, Makisha Clark; sons, Costrinia Adams and Lorachelle Adams, all of Minden; three sisters, Mae Della Kemp and husband Charles of Minden, Bessie Lee Henderson and husband Lloyd of Homer, and Linda Kimble of Dallas, Texas ; two brothers, La Salle Morris of Dallas and Charles Morris of Homer; 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predina Morris
Funeral services for Mrs. Predina Ridley Morris, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church with the Rev. Charlie Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Sheppard Street Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morris, a resident of Minden, Passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Minden Medical Center. She was born July 4, 1912, one of 12 children born to Jim and Minnie West Ridley. She was taught by her strong and loving parents to be hardworking, honest and though independent, loyal to family. At a young age, she moved to California and with hard work, made a good life for herself. Although widowed too soon in life, she continued to have a good home and many friends.
When her health began to fail, she moved to Minden to be closer to her family. She was welcomed and given a home by her nephew, Wiley. As Wileyís health failed, she was able to move into the Sheppard Street apartments where she enjoyed the friendship of many neighbors. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion CME. In her senior years, along with time spent with family, she enjoyed the fellowship of a loving church family and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; nephew Wiley; and six sisters.
She is survived by her twin sister, Amelia Ridley Kirk; nieces, Laverne Monroe and Mary Kirk, who remained close and provided her care; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Willie C. Smith
Funeral services for Mr. Willie C. Smith, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Sibley.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith, a resident of Minden, Passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, in Minden. He was born Jan. 16, 1925, to Cecla and Ike Smith. He was later raised by Carrie Smith.
Most of his life was spent in Minden. He attended school in Sibley and was a member of King Solomonís Baptist Church. He was later called to duty where he served in the U.S. Army. During this time, he met and married his wife of 52 years, Treabie Jones, whom he always called "Sweet Cake."
Mr. Smith had a love for fishing, baseball and TV talk shows.
He was a very caring and sharing man. Despite his medical condition, he would find the time to try and help anyone, whether it was financially or a ride to the store.
He is survived by his loving wife; three children, Linda Faye Smith, Willie Isra Smith, both of Minden, and Delores Jamerson of Vallejo, Calif.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Earline McKibbens of Kansas City, Mo., Georgia Robinson of Houston, Texas ; and a host of relatives and friends.

Woodrow Dunn
Funeral services for Mr. Woodrow Dunn, 89, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Point Chapel Assembly of God Church in Doyline with the Rev. Ronald Dunn officiating and the Rev. Edwin Davis assisting. Burial will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 10 p.m. today, Feb. 14, at the funeral home and from 7 a.m. until noon, Friday.
Mr. Dunn, a resident of Elm Grove for 28 years, Passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Bossier City after a long illness. He was a native of Lake, Miss., and a former resident of Haynesville. He was a retired employee of City Service Oil Company with 28 years of service. He was also a member of Point Chapel Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Preston and Halley Liggit Dunn; four sisters and seven brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth Dale Norris Dunn; and his brother, Frank F. Dunn of Tyler, Texas .
Pallbearers will be Gerald Norris, Ronnie Norris, Buddy Davis, Albert Booth, Earnest Norris Jr., and Robin Rowland.

Willie C. Smith
Funeral services for Mr. Willie C. Smith will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Sibley.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.

Imogene Addison Youngblood
Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Addison Youngblood will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with Adrian DeLukie of Minden Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7:30 p.m. today, Feb. 14, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Youngblood, a native of Sweetwater, Texas , and a longtime resident of Minden, Passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, following a brief illness. She was a member of Minden Church of Christ and was born Aug. 21, 1917 to Belva and Bruce P. Cole.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Adrian Addison; daughter, Patsy Brewster; brothers Jim and Howard Cole; sister, Mavis Forbes and great-granddaughter, Jessica Atchley.
She is survived by her husband E.F. "Zeke" Youngblood of Minden; sons, Tommy A. Addison of Minden and Johnny B. Addison and wife Sandy of Shreveport; daughters, Jackie Ashley of Alexandria, Jane Cassels and husband Julius of Minden, and Jean Bridges of Minden; son-in-law, C.G. Brewster of Lufkin, Texas ; brother, A.L. Cole of Fort Worth, Texas ; step-daughters, Delores Cornett of Lake Charles and Sylvia Contine of New Orleans; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edgar Waters Bryan III
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Aspen Grove Baptist Church in Evanston, Wyo. Funeral services will also be held at.2 p. m. Saturday at the Baptist church in Springhill. interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home in Wyoming and Bailey Mortuary in Springhill.
Family members will receive friends at a reception following the funeral.
Beloved husband, father and papa, Dr. Edgar Waters Bryan III, Passed away at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 26, 1943, in New Orleans, the son of the Rev. Edgar Waters and Maggie Holstun Bryan Jr.
From a young age he dedicated his life to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. On July 30, 1966, he married Barbara Martin in Minden.
Dr. Bryan was most recently the director of Associational Missions for the Southern Baptists in Wyoming. He pastored six churches in Louisiana , Arkansas and Mississippi, before being called to a ministry at First Southern Baptist Church in Powell, Wyo. He ministered there for eight and a half years. While in Powell, he also volunteered as a chaplain for the police department. He was an avid hunter and sportsman and a collector of guns.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, of Kemmerer, Wyo.; son, the Rev. Edgar W. "Autumn" Bryan IV of Rock Springs, Wyo., and daughter, Tabitha and her husband the Rev. Ronnie Osborne of Castor; two special granddaughters, Megan and Anna Grace Osborne. mother, Maggie H. Bryan of Coushatta; and a sister, Julia Bryan Miller and husband Richard of Sulphur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bailey Funeral Home in Spring Hill, or donations in Dr. Bryanís memory to the WSBC Mountain Top Baptist Assembly, P.O. Box 4779, Casper, WY 82604-0779.

Corey L. Henson
Funeral services for Mr. Corey L. Henson, 27, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Northwest 14th District Building in Minden, with the Rev. Willie Caldwell officiating. Services are under the direction of Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Mr. Henson, a resident of Louisiana , Passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, in a tragic accident on Caney Lake Road in Minden. He was born July 29, 1974, in Shreveport, to Glenda Henson.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maggie Jean Johnson ; grandfather, Willie Tom Henson; and step-grandmother, Jewel Henson.
He is survived by his mother; sisters, Kymberly Bailey of Topeka, Kan., NaTasha and Roshonda Henson of Minden; brother-in-law, Reginald Lewis of Topeka; two daughters, Kiarah and ChaCoria Rhone and their mother, Rebecca Rhone; two favorite aunts, Elma Henson and Josephine Caldwell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. He is also survived by a special friend, LaTina Greenard.
