Crudder, Henry Bud, Attorney,

Age 56, died Tuesday morning of a sudden and massive heart attack. He was at home with his dear friend, Claudia. Bud left two sons, Michael and Christopher, a brother, Fred, and two nephews, Joey and Matthew. He also left well served clients and so many, many close friends, among then his ex-wife, Donna. Bud loved all experiences of life shared everything with those close at hand. His genius and wit made him dear to all. His knowledge of Trout fishing and the rivers made him a legend to many anglers whom he had helped. If it had to do with the outdoors, he was ready to go, whether it be to Canada, Colorado, Florida, or one of the many islands in Michigan. He was on the Board of Directors of Trout Unlimited of Ann Arbor, and gave much time and energy to the rivers. In his profession as an attorney he was proud of his degree from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctorate. When Bud was in Court he was known not to exaggerate but to speak with quiet wisdom. He was respected by his fellow attorneys and all the Judges. His genius was used to know the law and he so advised his clients in order for them to make proper decisions, avoid arguments and remain friends; a master. Bud's free spirit will live on through those who knew him. He never appeared to take life too seriously and he enjoyed the now. He did not leave a garage full of things but he left his friends with minds full of memories and stories. Books could be written about Bud, and maybe they will be. After all, Paul Bunyan and Falstaff were created after just such as he. A gathering will be held Friday, December 31, 1999 at Shelter's Funeral Home, at 10 a.m., 250 W.
