Shirley Warren

Funeral service for Shirley Ann Warren, 74, Cedar, took place April 30 at Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel. Rev. Randall Westerberg officiated.

Warren died April 27, 2006 at Grandview Christian Home, Cambridge. She was born April, 3, 1932 in Hopkins to Einer and Agnes Nelson. She was a member of the Bethel Area Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband, Harry of Cedar; daughter, Ida (Kevin) Gustafson of Stanchfield; sons, Gary (Lois) Carter of Cedar, Paul (Kerry) Carter of Cedar; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Interment was at Grandview Park Cemetery, Hopkins. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Homes.

Irvin Vilina

Funeral service for Irving W. Vilina, 82, Ham Lake, took place April 25 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. David Hennen officiated.

Vilina died April 22, 2006 at Unity Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Minneapolis and was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ludmilla Vilina.

Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Katelyn Bradison

Funeral service for Katelyn Sue Janson Bradison, 10, Cedar, took place May 4 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Doug Rogers officiated.

Bradison died April 30, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1995 in Casper, Wyo.

She is survived by her mother, Candy; brothers, Joshua, Jeremiah and Chase; sister, Katalina; father, Kyle Janson; stepmother, Jennifer Janson; sister, Vanessa Janson; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Christopher Bradison; and grandfather, Royal Hanson.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Pamela Church

Funeral service for Pamela Kay Church, 50, Coon Rapids, took place May 3 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Raymond Brannick officiated.

Church died May 1, 2006 in Coon Rapids. She was born Oct. 24, 1955 in Minneapolis to Keith and Kathleen Brannick.

She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Brannick of Coon Rapids; children, Douglas (Sherry) Skye Jr. of Duluth, Brant (Sarah) Geyer of Duluth and Gretchan (Collin) Geyer of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; sisters, Sherry (Darwin) Daugherty of South Dakota; brothers, Raymond (Linda) Brannick of Tennessee and Kelly (Brenda) Brannick of Oak Grove; nephews, Rick (Bethany) Daugherty of North Carolina and Lincoln Brannick of Tennessee; niece, Morgan Brannick of Tennessee; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; and first husband, Douglas 'Jimbo' Skye Sr.

Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

Paula Dean

Funeral service for Paula J. (Rivard) Dean, 49, Blaine, took place May 5 at Church of St. Timothy, Blaine. Rev. Chuck Brambilla officiated.

Dean died May 2, 2006 at her home. She was born July 27, 1956 in Minneapolis.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Anthony (Pamela); daughter, Kerry; grandchildren, Cody, Kendal and Peyton; mother, Evangeline; sisters, Pat (Russel) Rosenberger, Pam (Kevin) Freeman, Jodi Wagner and Jackie (Jim) Mayer; sister-in-law, Linda (Ray) Stewart; brother-in-law, Ron Dean; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Brenda and Rich McCoy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.

Interment was at Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Michael Derrig

Funeral service for Michael Derrig, 54, Coon Rapids, took place at Catholic Church of St. Paul, Ham Lake, May 4. Rev. Jon Vander Ploeg officiated.

Derrig died April 30, 2006 in Coon Rapids. He was born March 4, 1952 in Fort Benning, Ga., to Duane and Dorothy Derrig. He was a retired co-owner of Glass Masters in Blaine.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (nee Marthe); children, Jessica (Eric) Friedman, Angela (Zach Arntson) and Tara; grandchildren: Blake, Cole and baby Anna; mother, Dorothy; brothers: Larry (Josie) and Steve: sisters, Linda (Steve) Trogdon, Julie Derrig, Jackie (Jeff) Amacher and Paula (John) Funk; in-laws: Joseph Marthe, Lisa Sabre, Lori (Jamie) Wisness; friend and caregiver: Jerry (Debi) Hubbard; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death by infant son, John; father, Duane; and sister, Diane.

Interment was at Church of St. Patrick Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.

Janice Grieser

Funeral service for Janice Grieser, 56, Coon Rapids, took place May 3 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka, Rev. Timothy Johnson officiated.

Grieser died April 28, 2006 at her home. She was born June 21, 1949 in Minneapolis. She was an advocate for over 20 years for Arc of Anoka County.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer, Sarah and Matthew; grandchildren, Chelsea, Kane, Wyatt, Cullen and Tyler; mother, Marcy Johnson; and brothers and sister, Brian and Alan Johnson, Barbara Olney and their families.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Johnson.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Dorothy LaRose

Funeral service for Dorothy S. LaRose, 94, Coon Rapids, took place May 9 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel. Rev. Dennis Wright officiated.

LaRose died May 3, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1911 in Brainerd to Philip and Ida Sorg. She was a retired teacher and assistant librarian.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Dickinson of Walker; sons, Thomas (Lonnie) LaRose of St. Francis, James LaRose of Blaine; grandchildren, Jane and Mike Dickinson, Bobby LaRose, Becky Miscowic and Tracey Dalve; great-grandchildren, Ryan Dalve, Hannah Dickinson, Trevor LaRose and Heather Davidson; sister, Adeline Andersen of Cushing; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur LaRose; granddaughter, Krista LaRose; and brothers, Albert, John, Parley, Henry and Walter Sorg.

Pallbearers were Dale Andersen, Joe Dalve, Mike Dickinson, Bobby and Trevor LaRose and John Stowe.

Interment was at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.

John Liemohn

Memorial service for John R. Liemohn, 62, Anoka, took May 6 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel.

Liemohn died suddenly May 2, 2006. He began his career as a math teacher and golf coach at Edison High School from which he had graduated in 1962. He later became a Lutheran Brotherhood agent and most recently worked with American United Life and Team National.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; son David (Cyndi) and grandson Eric; foster daughter, Cedar Morrigan (Johanna); brother, Harold (Clarice); and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Rose.

Sarles Rustag

Memorial service for Sarles Rustad, 76, Coon Rapids, took place May 4 at Blaine United Methodist Church. Rev. Ken Rice officiated.

Rustad died April 29, 2006 in Fridley. He was born June 12, 1929 in Fargo, N.D., to Edward and Judith Rustad. Sarles served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan B. Bertils; and granddaughters, Rachel and Sarah.

Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.

Edward Schultz Sr.

Funeral service for Edward S. Schultz Sr., 81, Coon Rapids, took place May 5 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Sochacki officiated.

Schultz died May 2, 2006. He was born July 24, 1924 in Columbia Heights and was retired from Farmers and Mechanics Bank after 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Monica (Dr. Michael) Bell and Edward Jr. (Paulette); grandchildren, Barrett, Aimee, Aaron (Faye) and Lorilee (Steve); great-grandchildren, Madison, Garrett, Zachary and Breaelle; sister, Delores (John) Grogan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley J.; mother, Mary Laur Schultz; and sisters, Helen Sochacki and Irene Strauch.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Danielle Seiler

Funeral service for Danielle Terrell Seiler, 18, East Bethel, took place May 6 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Fred C. Tuma officiated.

Seiler died May 2, 2006 in East Bethel. She was born May 5, 1987 in Reno, Nev., to Earl William and Terri Lynn (Whaley) Seiler. She was a trap setter/scorer at a gun club.

She is survived by her father, Earl 'Sy' Seiler; mother and stepfather, Terri and Steve Schloesser; sisters and brothers, Amy, Mandy, Nick, Snuffie, Tux, Karma and Midnight; grandparents, Arlita and Mike Spleiss, Betty and Dick Blank, Anne Seiler and Bev Schloesser; special friend, Jeremy Inderlee; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and cousins, Durwood, Ga, Doug, Lucy, Jerry, Ray, Pat, Dianna and Julius.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
