Jon Reiner, 62, of Stewart, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at University Good Samaritan Center in Minneapolis.
Services are 10 a.m. today at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stewart burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is one hour before the church service.
Arrangements are with the Hughes Funeral Home.
He is surived by daughter, Tammy Kadelbach of Stewart; mother, Florence Reiner of Stewart; brothers, Jerome of Hutchinson, Joel of Buffalo Lake, Jarvis of Hutchinson, Jay and Jeff of Stewart; and two granchildren.
He was born Sept 3., 1939, in McLeod County, to Leo W. and Florence A. (Hagen) Reiner.

Emily Borseth Kaatz (Domine), 92, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Lamberton and New Ulm, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at the Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wabasso.
Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow services in the Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
Arrangements are with the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.
She was born Aug. 7, 1909, in Johnsonville Township, Redwood County, to Carl and Hermine (Bolz) Domine.

Helena Streich, 91, of Brownton, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton.
Service is 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial to follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.
She is survived by daughterm Rosella Benson of Stewart; sons, Jerome Streich of Stewart, son, Darroll Streich of Stewart; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was born Feb. 20, 1910, in Bismark Township, Sibley County, to Adolf and Henrietta (Becke) Boelter.

Victor Woller, 86, of Gaylord, died Monday at the Glencoe Hospital.
Visitation is 4 - 8 p.m. today and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Egesdal Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church (Mountville) in rural Gaylord.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church in Mountville, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his brother Vernon Woller of rural Winthrop.
He was born Jan. 9, 1916, to George and Martha (Hass) Woller in Francis Township in Sibley County.

Felix Donald Reinhart, age 56, of Edina, formerly of New Ulm, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002.
He is survived by loving wife of 33 years, Pat; son Chad of Edina; two brothers, Roger of Burnsville, John (Joanne) of Sauk Rapids; mother-in-law Mildred Wandersee; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Don was born on May 18, 1945, in New Ulm, the son of Roman and Evelyn (Kosek) Reinhart. He graduated from Cathedral High School, New Ulm, and also from Mankato State University.
Don was a teacher for many years in the Special Ed. Dept. at New Ulm, Mpls. Public Schools and also Kenwood Elementary School. He loved and enjoyed the outdoors, children, German music, his dogs and sunsets.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for their care.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Serley Chapel, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Mpls., with visitation one hour prior to the service at church, and also 6 - 8 p.m. today at Werness Brothers, 3500 West 50th Street, 612-927-8641.

Elizabeth Jensen, 89, of St. James, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at St. James Health Services Hospital.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, St. James with burial in Rosendale Cemetery, rural St. James.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Pease Funeral Home, St. James.
She is survived by sons, Raymond Jensen of St. Joseph, Mo. and James Jensen of Dunkirk, Md.; daughters, Jennie Glasgow of Atlanta, Ga. and Vicki Haynes of Omaha, Neb.; and sisters, Margaret Karau of Lewisville and Cecelia Koenig of St. James; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Fieldon Township, Watonwan County, Minn., to Henry and Veronica (Scharbach) Tiedeken.

Marvin Peterson, 70, of Arlington, formerly of Gaylord, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Sibley Medical Center, Arlington.
Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Gerry; daughter, Bonnie Buyck of Blaine; a son, Ron Peterson of Seattle, Wash.; and four grandsons.
He was born Feb. 9, 1931, to Martin and Edna (Abrahamson) Peterson.
Arrangements with the Cremation Society of Minnesota.

Mary Lieske, 86, of Gaylord, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Friday at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord and Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Lieske of Gaylord and a sister, Ella Redmann of Hutchinson; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was born May 12, 1915, in Webster County, Iowa, to Richard and Lena (Rest) Geerdes.

Lewis Budahn, 75, of rural Courtland died Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, 2002 at his home.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in New Ulm with burial to follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 8 a.m. Monday at the Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to services at the church.
Lewis Vernon Budahn, the son of Vernon and Myrtle (Sinell) Budahn, was born Aug. 4, 1926 in Arlington. Following graduation from Arlington High School in 1944, he worked in the family auto garage business and was united in marriage to Therese Harens on Aug. 12, 1947 in Arlington. In 1959, they moved to New Ulm where he owned and operated Budahn International Garage with his father and brothers, Claude and Earl. His wife died in 1968. He married Naomi Bode on Jan. 18, 1969 in Courtland. They made their home on her farm east of Courtland. He retired in 1988, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi of Courtland; sons, Alan Budahn of Minneapolis, James Budahn and his wife Amy of Lakewood, Colo.; daughters, Jeanette Hollingsworth of Tracy, Charlotte Steveson and her husband Chris of Lakewood, Colo.; stepchildren, Nadine Bode of New Ulm, Krista Riggs of Courtland, Anthony Bode and his wife Julia of Scottsdale, Ariz., Henry Bode and his wife Claudette of LaCrosse, Wis., Paula Crownover and her husband Craig of Fort Collins, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Alvin Budahn and his wife Marianne of Darwin, Claude Budahn and his wife Lucille of New Ulm, Earl Budahn and his wife Joan of Arlington; nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Renal Dialysis.

Elsie Wiethoff, 91, of Fairfax, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Fairfax, with burial in the New Ulm City Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to services at the church Monday.
There will be an Eastern Star service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, James Wiethoff of rural Gibbon; three grandsons; and three great grandchildren.
She was born March 26, 1910, in Cairo Township, Renville County to Fred Jr. and Frieda (Franz) Meyer.

Amos L. Hayes, 80, of Lafayette died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Bernadotte Lutheran Church in Bernadotte, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. today at the Bernadotte Lutheran Church in Bernadotte, and one hour prior to services at church on Monday. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Lafayette American Legion. The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Hayes of rural Lafayette; daughters Linda Ramsden of Cobham, Surrey, England, Jennifer Doughty of Rochester, and Patricia Rogne of Northfield; sons, Thomas Hayes of rural Lafayette, and Larrie Hayes of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; one great grandson; and brothers, Leo Hayes of Henning, Donald Hayes of Farmington, and Richard Hayes of Long Prairie.
He was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Clarissa, to Homer and Rose (Kotval) Hayes. He served in the Navy during WWII.

Marvin Hacker, 80, of rural Lafayette, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center in Winthrop.
Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, with burial in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Cemetery in Lafayette.
Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Lafayette American Legion. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of the service on Feb. 2, 2002, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
Marvin is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marcy and Dennis Muchow of rural Lafayette; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karmin Hacker of rural Lafayette; grandchildren, Dion Muchow and wife, Amy of Shakopee, Lt. Dana Muchow of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Heather Hemingway and husband, Josh and Angela Hacker all of Fargo, North Dakota, Michael Hacker of Lafayette, and Travis Hacker of New Ulm; great grandchildren, Cassidy, Aliyah and Tayla all of Fargo, North Dakota; sister, Phillis Herring of New Ulm; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Katy Hacker of New Ulm; a sister-in-law, Betty Stadick of Minneapolis; and brothers-in-law, Joe Stadick and his wife, Leona of New Ulm, Edmond Geslin of Columbia Heights, and Elvin Brelji of Le Sueur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Veronica Stadick in 1971; his second wife, Dorothy Herschman in 1983; sisters, Verna Geslin, and Isabella Brelji. Marvin was born on Nov. 29, 1921, in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County, to Martin and Amelia (Hoffmann) Hacker. He attended District 1288 Hilltop Country School in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County.
He entered the United States Army in February of 1945, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he was discharged in December of 1946. On Feb. 11, 1947, he married Veronica Stadick at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. He then married Dorothy Herschman in 1973 in Gibbon.
He was a farmer all his life also helping many other farmers. He was a member of the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette.

Scott A. Guscette, 31, of Belle Plaine, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and 10:30 a.m - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
He is survived by his wife Michelle of Belle Plaine; daughter Desirae; son Derek; parents, Raymond and Judy Guscette of Clear Lake, Iowa; sisters Michele McFerran and Kylie Calease, both of Clear Lake, Iowa; and grandmother, Evelyn Rebhahn of Beulah, N.D.
He was born Sept. 21, 1970, in Jamestown, N.D., to Raymond and Judy (Clementson) Guscette.

Arlan Miller, 65, of Pequot Lakes, and formerly of New Ulm, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at the Good Shepard Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Born April, 25, 1936, in Gibbon, to Orville and Florence (Christofferson) Miller.
Arlan is survived by his wife Ione; son Doug Miller (Kristy) of Pine River, Minn.; daughter Tammera Giese of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, JoAnn Wieland of New Ulm; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Yvonne Lewison.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes, with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Kline Funeral Home in Pine River, Minn.

Clarence Stromley, 80, of Hector, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at United Methodist Church in Hector, with burial to follow at the City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Hector; sons, Gary of Northfield, Dale of Buffalo Lake, and Don of Des Moines, Iowa; daughters, Leslie Wilkinson of Hector, and Jean Thielke of Hector; 10 grandchidren; brother, Donald of Balsam Lake, Wis; sisters, Ruth Prose of Milltown, Wis., and Katherine Cox of New Hope.
He was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Rush River Township, Wis., to Melvin C. and Minnie C. (Sather) Stromley. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Anna Veigel, 95, of Fairfax, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at the Fairfax Community Home.
Funeral services will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services, at the church, on Tuesday. Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel of Fairfax is handling the arrangements.
She was born on June 28, 1906, to Nicholas and Catherine (Schneider) Thurmes.
