Lois Darlene England, age 72, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015, in her home.

She was born February 11, 1943, at Seligman, Missouri, the daughter of Kirtsy and Pansy (Fine) Still. On December 5, 1960, she was united in marriage to Buddy England, who preceded her in death on February 24, 2014. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Billy Jack England; one great grandson, Tyler Evins; one sister, Geneva McGinnis and one brother, Glenn Still.

Surviving are one son, Bill England of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Kellie Dickson and her husband Russell of Cassville, Missouri and Kristy Akins and her husband Shawn of Clever, Missouri; one brother, Larry Paul Still and his wife Jill of Washburn, Missouri; one sister, Mary Ellen Michael of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Lois grew up in the southwestern part of Missouri, attending schools in Marionville, Golden City and graduated from Southwest High School at Washburn. She spent her entire life in this area and was a bank teller many years, starting at First National Bank, which changed to Nations, then Charter, Boatman’s and Bank of America, from which she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Exeter. She lived for her children, her grandchildren and to take care of Buddy.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Burial will be in King cemetery, Seligman, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Betty Bailey Long
(March 15, 1930 - September 5, 2015)

Betty M. Bailey Long, age 85, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Cassville, Missouri.

She was born March 15, 1930, in Wheelerville, Missouri, the daughter of Will and Fannie Mae (Neil) Vincent. She was united in marriage to Paul Bailey on June 20, 1948. To this union two children were born. Paul preceded her in death on March 2, 1973. She later married Marcel Long, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Truman, Howard, James and Donald Vincent and three sisters, Helen Robbins, Fern Still and Little Faye Vincent.

Surviving are one son, Jim Bailey and his wife Chris Ann of Exeter, Missouri; one daughter, Paula Holtzman and her husband John of Cassville, Missouri; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Betty was a graduate of Rocky Comfort High School. She was a homemaker and had resided in the Thomas Hollow Community since 1934. She was a member of Wheaton First Baptist Church and Thomas Hollow Extension Club. She loved her family and her farm in Thomas Hollow. She loved animals, sewing, quilting, rock hunting with grandkids, going to flea markets and singing in church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Mark Hall and Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the services. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery, Exeter, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.

Anna Ruth Heath
(September 12, 1943 - September 6, 2015)

Anna Ruth Sligar Cargile Heath, age 71, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away in her home, Sunday, September 6, 2015.

She was born September 12, 1943, in Cassville, Missouri, the daughter of John and Pearl (Boyd) Sligar. On July 25, 1959 in Missouri, she was united in marriage to Frank Cargile and later married James Heath all who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one brother, Charles Sligar; five sisters, Waunita McGlothlin, Bernice Sands, Johnny Hilburn, Betty May and Florence Bryant.

Surviving are one son, Mike Cargile and his wife Amber of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Gale Heath and her husband Bill of Washburn, Missouri and Kay Holtyn and her husband Matt of Warren, Michigan; three brothers, Leroy Sligar and his wife Ann of Carthage, Missouri, Bob Sligar and his wife Shirli of Bentonville, Arkansas, and John Sligar and his wife Sharon of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Tricia Schlegel, Tresa Stout, Aaron Cargile, Anna Cargile, Emma Holtyn, Matthew Holtyn, Jr., Charlotte Ennis, Kathy Crowley and Billy Heath and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Anna grew up in the Cassville area where she received her education. She then went on to nursing school in Springdale, Arkansas, earning her LPN degree, working at Bentonville Manor in Arkansas until retirement.

Watching game shows, reading, putting puzzles together and of course her grandkids were her favorite pastimes.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri. Pastor Charles McElhannon will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 9, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Anna.

Sherry Diane Heath
(April 7, 1945 - September 6, 2015)

Sherry Diane Heath, age 70, of Branson West, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015.

She was born April 7, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford and Betty Louise (McMahon) Dusenbery, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Jackie Marie Drake.

Surviving are three daughters, Kim Whitley of Centerton, Arkansas, Tina Murray of Springdale, Arkansas, and Kathy Trotter and her husband Joe of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, James Allen Anderson and his wife Susan of Springfield, Missouri; five sisters, Brenda Sue Wilson of Branson West, Missouri, Debra Lynn Webb, Jody Ann Hernandez and her husband Rudy, and Tamra Louise Robbins all of Ark City, Kansas, and Kristi K. Dusenbery of Wichita, Kansas, and six grandchildren, Dakodah Murray, Ty Stephens, Destiny Vanzandt, Cailey Trotter, and Josie and Jacob Smith.

Sherry grew up and received her education in Wichita, Kansas. She resided in Missouri much of her life and for sixteen years was an over the road truck driver. She had also been employed for Walmart in the lay away department and sold Avon many years. Six years ago she moved to Branson West to make her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 10, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Jerry Nickle will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:30 A.M. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Deborah "Debbie" Wormington
(October 25, 1960 - September 9, 2015)

Deborah C. “Debbie” Wormington, age 54, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born October 25, 1960, in Purdy, Missouri, the daughter of Wayne and Helen Wormington, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Julie, Patsy and Crystal.

Surviving are one son, Brian Wormington of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Michael Wayne Wormington of Cassville, Missouri; three sisters, Cathy Jo Lowe of Exeter, Missouri, Sandra J. “Sandy” Von Lienen and her husband Dale of Mapleton, Illinois and Whitney M. Stier and several nieces and nephews.

Debbie grew up and received her education at Cassville, where she graduated from high school. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Southwest State University in Joplin, Missouri. After college Debbie worked with her dad and sister Cathy at Wormington Trucking, then relocated to take a job at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. When Debbie returned to Cassville, she worked until retirement with Head Start of Cassville. Some of her favorite pastimes were exploring the internet, listening to country music and watching Tony Stewart and NASCAR.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 14, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Jim Clay will conduct the services. Burial will be in Purdy cemetery, Purdy, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association in memory of Debbie.

Aaron James Haston
(August 1, 1974 - September 10, 2015)

Aaron James Haston age 41 passed away September 10, 2015 in a car wreck. He was born August 1, 1974, in Dinuba California. His mother Diann Villines lives in Jenkins. His father N H Haston from Dardanelle, AR preceded him in death. A brother Brian Haston preceded him in death on October 13, 2002.

He has a step mother Kathy Haston, one nephew Brian N Haston and his family , one niece Brittany Haston Pratt and family all from Dardanelle, AR; his fiance Tabetha Cochran and her daughter Hannah of Cassville.

Aaron loved First Baptist Church Northpoint and attended until he had shift changes at work. Aaron graduated from Dardanelle High School and then joined the Airforce where he served as a jet mechanic for three years. He was employed at Georges as a maintenance man. Aaron loved music and could play almost any instrument. He was an artist, drawing cartoons or cars and was very inventive. He was a very caring and thoughtful man and was always willing to help anyone. He also leaves behind his dog Bonzo that he has had for 17 years.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be in Clio cemetery, Jenkins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Clarence "Dale" Myers
(July 19, 1933 - September 12, 2015)

Clarence “Dale” Myers, age 82, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, in his home.

He was born July 19, 1933, in Powell, Missouri, the son of Irvin and Wanda (Cooper) Myers. On December 28, 1959, in Hardtner, Kansas, he was united in marriage to Pearl Wolgamott, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Bryan Myers of Webb City, Missouri and Bradley Lynn Myers of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Dana Jo Wallace and her husband David of Webb City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ian and Katarina Wallace and Ella and Ava Myers; a brother-in-law, David Wolgamott and his wife Carol and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Dale received his education in Pineville, graduating with the Class of 1951. He received his Master’s degree in education from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. For thirty-six years he was an educator, retiring as assistant director, AVTS from the Kansas City, Kansas school district. In 1999, he returned to Missouri to reside in Wheaton. He attended Wheaton United Methodist Church and was a member of Cosmos Masonic Lodge in Kiowa, Kansas, the Scottish Rite over fifty-five years, Eastern Star, a life member and a charter member of The Fire Wagons of the Abdallah Shrine Temple in Kansas City, Kansas. Some of his favorite pastimes were working on automobiles, building things and working on his 1929 Model A.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Union cemetery, Stella, Missouri, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Reverend Roger McKee will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.

Everett Howard Allred
(October 1, 1919 - September 16, 2015)

U.S. Veteran
Everett Howard Allred was born October 1, 1919, near Larue, Arkansas, to Reverend O.T. and Pearl (Finn) Allred.

Everett passed away September 16, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, at the age of 95 years, 11 months, and 16 days. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Ervin and Keith Allred, and his wife Nadine (Moudy) Allred.

Everett received his education in a country school near Monett, Missouri.

On April 5, 1952, he was united in marriage to Nadine (Moudy), in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Everett is survived by two sons John and wife Melody of Purdy, Missouri, and Pastor Ron and wife Esther of Moberly, Missouri, six grandchildren Michael and wife Karen of Miami, Florida, Pastor Kevin and wife Olga of Hallsville, Missouri, Rachael and husband Colin of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, Wesley and wife Carri of Parkville, Missouri, Travis of Overland Park, Kansas, and Benjamin of Parkville, Missouri, five great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild. Also surviving is one brother Kenneth of Monett, Missouri, plus a host of nieces and nephews.

Everett joined the military during World War II. He served in the Coast Guard from 1942 until 1946 as a Motor Machinist’s Second Class. After leaving the military Everett worked as a salesman, and meat cutter, and then retired from Jumping Jack Shoe Company.

Everett loved farming, fishing and working for his church. He faithfully attended Log Church as long as his health permitted. Everett will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, September 20th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Ralph Wheeler and Pastor Carolyn McNabb will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be in Log Church Memorial Gardens, Butterfield, Missouri.

Contributions may be made to Log Church Memorial Gardens in memory of Everett.
