WORTHY
Margaret Mary "Maggie" Worthy 46, Linn, died April 2, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born April 17, 1955, in Millington, Tenn., a daughter of Robert C. and Mary Lydia Brandmeier Osman. Her father survives in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
A 1973 graduate of Jefferson City High School, she was a 1997 graduate of Linn Technical College and attended Columbia College. She was an Air Force veteran.
She worked in the commissary at McCord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Wash. She was a caregiver with Homemaker Health Care in Linn.
She was a programmer with the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan, Missouri Department of Health and the Missouri Department of Corrections.
A member of the Roman Catholic faith, she was vice president of the H.D.C. Housing Commission and was a volunteer for Relay for Life.
Other survivors include: one son, Jonathan J. Worthy, Jefferson City; one daughter, Elizabeth M. Worthy, Linn; four brothers, Joseph M. Osman, Utica, N.Y., Robert C. Osman, Eugene, John H. Osman, Cedar Park, Texas , and William A. Osman, Jefferson City; and six sisters, Anne M. Osman, Mountain Grove, Cecilia C. Podzimek, Bucklin, Mary T. Willson, Huntsville, Ala., Rose A. Zeringue, Houma, La., and Rita C. Huff and Jane E. Osman, both of Jefferson City;
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Gregory L. Higley will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to an educational fund for her children at Linn State Bank, Main Street, Linn, Mo. 65051.
BUCKHALL
Patricia Ann Buckhall, 51, Jefferson City, died April 3, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 20, 1950, in St. Louis, a daughter of Hulan and Juanita Reed Jordan. Her father survives in Wentzville. She was married Feb. 18, 1970, in St. Louis, to Clinton Buckhall Jr., who survives at the home.
A 1969 graduate of Soldan High School, St. Louis, she attended Lincoln University. She worked for the Missouri National Guard office of the adjutant general from 1976 until retiring in 1995.
A member of Second Baptist Church, she served on the youth mission, deaconess board and gospel choir.
She was a member and past worthy matron of Boone Chapter 87 Order of Eastern Star, and was a loyal lady of the Order of the Golden Circle.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Angela Buckhall, St. Louis; four brothers, Russel Jordan, Johnnie Bruce Jordan and Joseph Jordan, all of Wentzville, and Winston Jordan, Wildwood; and four sisters, Linda Exum and Francine Jordan, both of Wentzville, Oneda Johnson, St. Louis, and Johnnie Marie Jordan, Atlanta, Ga.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Second Baptist Church. The Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, with an Order of Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.

HAGERMAN
Effie Edna Hagerman, 99, Versailles, died April 3, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 5, 1903, in Ironton, a daughter of John A. and Lana Hibdon Lee. She was married Aug. 19, 1925, to Earl William Hagerman, who survives at the home.
She was a retired machine operator for several clothing factories. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Versailles.
Survivors include three grandsons and great-grandchildren.
One son, Edward Leo Hagerman, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Leslie Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to First Assembly of God Church, Versailles.
DUNN
Ben Wray Dunn, 72, Versailles, died April 2, 2002, at his home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
SPRINGER
Clara Jean Springer, 99, Jefferson City, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at the Beverly Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 12, 1902, in San Diego, Calif., a daughter of Samuel Edward and Suzanna Bowers Johnson. She was married Oct. 3, 1925, in San Diego, to Lawrence M. Springer, who died Jan. 12, 1985.
She attended Emerson Elementary School and San Diego High School, both in San Diego.
She worked as a Secretary at the Rockwell Army Air Field (now North Island Naval Air Station) from 1920-1925, and also was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Rolando Women's Club; the San Diego Zoological Society; the International Typographical Union #221 Auxiliary; the East San Diego Lioness Club and the College Park Presbyterian Church, all in San Diego.
Survivors include: two daughters, Kathryn C. Basden-Nesmeyer, Jefferson City, and Elizabeth Beckett of San Diego; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Springer, and a grandson.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -- Jefferson City Chapel, with the Rev. Steven Clark officiating. Burial will be held at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in San Diego.

WRIGHT
Edgar James Wright, 83, Gravois Mills, died April 3, 2002, at his home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1919, in Wichita, Kan., a son of Simon Oliver and Cleda Butler Wright. He was married Sept. 30, 1940, to Gretchen Irene Hutcheson, who survives at the home.
He was a retired tool and die maker and formerly owned Wright's Cultured Marble, Gravois Mills. He was a US Navy veteran.
Survivors include: two sons, James Wright, Independence, and Richard Wright, Osage Beach; two brothers, Merle Wright, Kansas City, and Simon Wright, Jr., Towanda, Kan.; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. Entombment will be in the Garber Memorial Estates Columbarium, Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
GILMORE
Chloe Mae Gilmore, 89, St. Elizabeth, died March 2, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
She was born April 12, 1912, in Boone County. She was married in 1962 in Jefferson City to Ray Jackson Gilmore Sr., who died May 16, 1997.
A Baptist, she operated a beauty shop for many years.
Survivors include: three sons, Ray Gilmore Jr., Holts Summit, and Arthur Gilmore and Bobby Gilmore, both of Ashland; two daughters, Joyce "Miss Kitty" Willhite, St. Elizabeth, and Bonnie Gilmore, Paola, Kan.; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday.
GUNN
Rex H. Gunn, 78, Versailles, died April 2, 2002, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born March 2, 1924, near Barnett, a son of Halcyon D. and Daisy Jones Gunn. He was married April 21, 1944, to Twila Jean Paxson, who survives at the home.
A retired farmer, he was a member of First Baptist Church, Versailles. He served as Eastern District commissioner of Morgan County. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was commander of American Legion Post 104 in Versailles and VFW Post 5902 in Gravois Mills. He was past president of Barnett Lions Club and a director on the Mid Missouri Ambulance District.
Other survivors include: one son, Darrell Gunn, Ankeny, Iowa; two brothers, Paul Gunn, Versailles, and Roscoe Gunn, Romney, W. Va.; two sisters, Nan Satter, Clear Lake, Iowa, and Ethel Kelsey, California; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Two sons, Thomas E. Gunn and Rex H. Gunn Jr., preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

PRENGER
Martha Ann Prenger, 90, Westphalia, formerly of Jefferson City, died April 2, 2002, at Westphalia Retirement Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1912, in Taos, a daughter of Albert H. and Caroline Christine Forck Prenger.
She attended school at Taos and the Capital Business College in Jefferson City. She worked at Tweedies Shoe Factory and for the state of Missouri as a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality, and the Immaculata Club.
Survivors include: one brother, Leo F. Prenger, Macon; two sisters, Rita P. Wolfe, Jefferson City, and Meg Verslues, Taos.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos. The Rev. Timothy Tatro will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Buescher Memorial Home and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church.
