HERZING
Rosie Herzing, 82, Freeburg, died June 23, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born May 29, 1920, in Freeburg, a daughter of George and Elizabeth Barnett Hoffman. She was married May 29, 1940, in Koeltztown, to Henry Holtmeyer II, who died June 18, 1968. She was married Sept. 13, 1956, to Martin Herzing, who died Nov. 30, 1964.
She was a past member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church Married Ladies Sodality, Westphalia, and was a current member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. A homemaker, she worked at International Shoe Company.
Survivors include: one son, Henry Holtmeyer III, Evansdale, Iowa; three daughters, Marie Hilke and Leona Weider, both of Freeburg, and Martha Kleindienst, Jefferson City; one brother, George Hoffman Jr., Evansdale; four sisters, Sophie Stegeman, Jefferson City, Cecelia Carver, Eldon, Angelia Deppe, Holts Summit, and Nancy Schroeder, Waterloo, Iowa; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Msgr. Bernard Boessen will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Freeburg.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Masses or the Holy Family Church and School.
Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
JINSON
Irene Jinson, 69, Jefferson City, died June 24, 2002, at Oak View Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Jan. 25, 1933, in Auxvasse, a daughter of Ira J. and Nancy E. Davis Brandenburg. She was married in 1952 to Jack Mitchell Jinson, who died Oct. 22, 1991.
She attended school in Auxvasse. She worked for McGraw Edison and Cheseborough Ponds in Jefferson City. She was a member of Solid Rock Family Church.
Survivors include: four daughters, Myrtle Mayfield, Jefferson City, Linda Evers, Holts Summit, Dianna Wheeler, Centertown, and Cindy Wood, Eldon; three brothers, Robert Brandenburg, state of Texas , Jay Brandenburg and Bill Brandenburg, both of Kansas City; two sisters, Edna Reed and Betty Robinette, both of Kansas City; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
One son, Jack Mitchell Jinson, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Solid Rock Family Church. The Rev. Joe Skiles will officiate. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to Solid Rock Family Church.
JOHNSON
Victor Johnson, 83, Hartsburg, died June 24, 2002, at Doctors Hospital, Springfield.
He was born Nov. 10, 1918, in Claysville, a son of Ernest and Leona Vaughan Johnson. He was married Oct. 15, 1938, in Columbia, to Lillian D. Schanuth, who survives at the home.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, he attended school in rural Boone County. He was a carpenter and farmed in Boone County for many years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Boone County and Carpenters Local of Columbia. He was an Army veteran of World War II, receiving five Bronze Stars. He was a member of VFW in Ashland.
Survivors include: two sons, Rodney R. Johnson, Raytown, and Vernon V. Johnson, Mt. Vernon; one brother, Charles H. Johnson, Hartsburg; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Steve Miller will officiate. Graveside services and burial with military honors will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Boone County.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donors choice.
KRATZER
Jeffery Allen Kratzer, 40, Stover, died June 23, 2002, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis.
He was born May 13, 1962, in Kansas City, a son of Charles E. Sr. and Betty Higgins Kratzer. His father and stepmother, Charles E. and Sharon Kratzer, survive in Sedalia. His mother, Betty Spalding, survives in Jefferson City. He was married Aug. 15, 1996, in Sedalia, to Deborah Fleming, who survives at the home.
He was a 1980 graduate of Smithton High School. He was an Air Force veteran and served with the Missouri National Guard, Marshall. He worked for Tyson foods, Sedalia. He was a member of Kratzer Racing Team, Sedalia, and a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: stepmother, Paula Kratzer, Sedalia; two daughters, Breanon Renee Kratzer, of the home, and Jessica L. Kratzer, Mora; one stepdaughter, Cassie Lynn Koeller, Columbia; one stepson, Dustin Lee Koeller, Stover; four brothers, Mike Kratzer, O'Fallon, Charles E. Kratzer Jr. and Allen Ray Kratzer, both of Sedalia, and Tony Kratzer, Florence; and one sister, Cathy Hamilton, Sedalia.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. The Rev. Cecil Murdock will officiate. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Jeff Kratzer Memorial Fund.
KUEBLER
Marian Dougherty Kuebler, 77, St. Louis, died June 23, 2002, at Villa Marie Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1924, in St. Louis, a daughter of Charles R. and Frances Mary Dougherty. She was married to Henry E. Kuebler, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rosati Kain Alumni Association.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard L. Kuebler, Jefferson City, and Michael A. Kuebler, Sullivan; two daughters, Mary F. Frame, St. Louis, and Sandra Hobold, Jefferson City; two brothers, Raymond C. Dougherty, St. Charles, and Daniel D. Dougherty, Kansas City; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One son, Henry C. "Butch" Kuebler III, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, St. Charles. Entombment will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home and Memorial Center.
Memorials are suggested to Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
REGER
Eileen Reger, 78, formerly of Climax Springs, died June 18, 2002, at Natividad Medical Center, Salinas, Calif.
She was born April 4, 1924, a daughter of Harold and Bertha Shouse Emmons. She was married to Glen Reger, who preceded her in death.
A homemaker, she was a member of Grace Temple Church, Salinas.
Survivors include: five sons, James Reger, Scotts Valley, Calif., Glen Reger and Gene Reger, both of Santa Cruz, Calif., Gerald Reger, Tacoma, Wash., and Ronald Reger, Salinas; three daughters, Kay Nierva, Marina, Calif., Karen Adams, Kissimmee, Fla., and Rene Reger, Salinas; three sisters, Iva Marie Snyder, Memphis, Geneva Perez, Salem, Ore., and Mary Diaz, Patterson, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Private family graveside services will be today in Climax Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
THOMAS
Essie M. Thomas, 98, Camdenton, died June 23, 2002, at Ozark Care Center, Osage Beach.
She was born Jan. 28, 1904, in Lebanon, a daughter of Essie C. and Martha Jane Huff Jones. She was married Jan. 12, 1926, in Olathe, Kan., to John Carroll Thomas, who died Jan. 2, 1974.
She was a member of the New Home Baptist Church, Camdenton. She owned and operated rental property and resorts.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Thomas, Lenexa, Kan.; and one grandson.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial will be in Dale Blair Cemetery, Camdenton.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. today.
YOUNG
Dominique Young, 3, Macks Creek, died June 20, 2002, in Macks Creek from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Jan. 18, 1999, in Lansing, Mich., a daughter of Tiffany Young. Her mother survives at the home.
Other survivors include: one sister, Karina Johnson, of the home; grandparents, Kirk and Dee Young, Macks Creek; and great-grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Young, Camdenton.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Garden of Angels in Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Margaret L. Linhardt, 82, Jefferson City, died June 24, 2002, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

Margaret Evelyn Ray, 86, Jefferson City, died June 25, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
Arrangements are at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City.
