WILMOTH
Beverly Jean Wilmoth, 67, Sunrise Beach, died June 22, 1999, at her home.
She was born
June 9, 1932, in Oakland, Calif., a daughter of Fredrick and Alma Bensley Stephenson. She was married
Jan. 14, 1950, to James Lewis Wilmoth, who died in September 1977.
She was a collections clerk for a utility company in Anchorage, Alaska, until her retirement.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sunrise Beach, the Women's Business Association, Anchorage, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include: three sons, Matthew Brian Wilmoth and Edward Charles Wilmoth, both of Sunrise Beach, and Daniel Neal Wilmoth, Anchorage; one daughter, Donna L. Crawford, Sunrise Beach; three brothers, Robert Stephenson, Alameda, Calif., Gary Stephenson, St. George, Utah, and Fredrick Stephenson, Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Alice Coleman, Anchorage; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One son, James Lewis Wilmoth, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Sunrise Beach. The Rev. John Edwards and Ray Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Sunrise Beach Building Fund.
WREN
Ula M. Wren, 103, Jefferson City, died June 22, 1999, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.
She was born
May 7, 1896, in Lamar, a daughter of William A. and Eliza J. Lahmen Thompson. She was married
Dec. 28, 1919, in Lamar, to Russell L. Wren, who died May 23, 1974.
She was a 1914 graduate of Lamar High School and a 1917 graduate of Joplin Business College, Joplin. A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1920, she co-owned and co-operated the Wren-Todd Insurance Agency for 37 years until her retirement in 1982.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Morning Music Club, the Jefferson City Music Society and the Business and Professional Women's Association.
Survivors include one daughter, Caroline W. Todd, Jefferson City, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Thomas W. Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
FICK
Evelyn E. Edwards Fick, 67, Rich Fountain, died June 23, 1999, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born
May 31, 1932, in Chamois, a daughter of Rudolph and Gertrude Talken Edwards. She was married
Nov. 18, 1950, in Rich Fountain, to Albert "Bert" Fick, who survives at the home.
A lifelong area resident, she was store manager at Eisterhold's Appliance, Rich Fountain, for the past 12 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain, the Ladies Sodality and the Western Catholic Union.
Other survivors include: one son, Kenny Fick, Rich Fountain; one daughter, Jacki Fick Cleere, San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Ray Edwards, Chamois, Rudy Edwards, Jefferson City, and Bob Edwards, Rolla; four sisters, Sister Marie Edwards, St. Louis, Gladys Rudroff, Rich Fountain, Alice Nilges, Linn, and Ann Fick, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain. The Rev. Patrick Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Rich Fountain.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
KILMER
Christian Z. Kilmer, 86, Barnett, died June 23, 1999, at his home.
He was born
Sept. 4, 1912, in Emmet County, Mich., a son of Isaac and Katherine Zimmerman Kilmer. He was married
Nov. 30, 1933, to Elizabeth B. "Betsy" Kilmer, who died Jan. 30, 1998.
He was a member of Hopewell Mennonite Church, Barnett.
Survivors include: three sons, Maynard Kilmer, Barnett, and John Daniel Kilmer and Aaron Kilmer, both of the state of Wisconsin; nine daughters, Katherine Ramer, Highpoint, Florence Nolt and Ada Zimmerman, both of the state of Pennsylvania, Mary Ann Hoover and Barbara Zimmerman, both of Barnett, Betty Shirk and Esther Shirk, state of Wisconsin, Bertha Shirk, state of Kentucky, and Annetta Martin, Latham; two brothers, David Z. Kilmer, state of Michigan, and Harvey Z. Kilmer, state of Pennsylvania; one sister, Annie Z. Shirk, state of Pennsylvania; 94 grandchildren and 174 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Sarah Naomi Martin, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the family home, and at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Hopewell Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Hopewell Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the family home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
BEALER
Paul E. Bealer, 79, Tipton, died June 22, 1999, at California Care Nursing Home, California.
He was born
July 30, 1919, in Pueblo, Colo., a son of Arthur S. and Ora M. Jones Bealer. He was married
Oct. 11, 1940, to Naomi A. Boyles, who died Aug. 14, 1993.
He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II, and was a bookkeeper at Gerbes Super Market until his retirement in 1983.
Survivors include: three sons, Rick Bealer, Chattanooga, Tenn., Michael Bealer, Houston, Texas, and Russ Bealer, Tipton; one daughter, Kathy Curtis, Tipton; one brother, Russell J. Bealer, Houston, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Conn Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. J.D. Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to Hickman Cemetery.
BELT
Raymond Allen Belt Sr., 32, Eldon, died June 23, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born
Jan. 16, 1967, in Jefferson City, a son of Elvin O. and Mary Ellen Rhodes Belt. He was married
July 2, 1988, in St. Martins, to Patricia Ann Schulte, who survives at the home.
He lived in Eldon for the past year and a half. He worked at Gastineau Lumber.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Shawna Jill Belt, Athena Lynn Belt and Taylor Marie Belt, all of the home; one son, Raymond Allen Belt Jr., of the home; one brother, Kenneth Belt Sr., Jefferson City; and three sisters, Mary Anita Belt, Lawrence, Kan., Martha Jane Glynn, Mokane, and Rebacca Sue McCubbin, Eugene.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.

FISER
Eugene "Dutch" Fiser, 70, Sunrise Beach, died June 23, 1999, at his home.
He was born
Nov. 22, 1928, in Harrison, Ark., a son of Russell and Carrie Freda Frederick Fiser. He was married
Nov. 25, 1949, to Martha McCall, who survives at the home.
He was an iron worker for J.A. Tobin Construction Company in Kansas City and a lifelong member of Iron Workers Local 10. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include: one brother, James H. Fiser, Laurie; two sisters, Mary Helen Patton and Beverly Jean Powell, both of Gladstone.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Cemetery near Laurie.
Memorials are suggested to the Option Home Health Missouri River Hospice, 1140 Aaron Court, Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
GRAY
Herman A. Gray, 74, Laurie, died June 23, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born
Sept. 27, 1924, in Wichita, Kan., a son of Leslie M. and Mabel Florence Jaeger Gray. He was married
April 30, 1949, to Laurel Steele. He was married
Jan. 5, 1977, to Sharon K. Edwards Griffin, who survives at the home.
He was a retired salesman for LaSalle Steel Company, Hammond, Ind. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Zack Wheat American Legion Post 624 in Sunrise Beach; VFW Post 7397 in Lenexa, Kan; the 40 & 8; the Isis Shrine Temple in Salina, Kan; and was a charter member of Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705 in Laurie. He worked with his wife at the Donut Shop in Laurie where he made ice cream for the past 10 years.
Other survivors include: one son, Bradley David Gray, Wichita, Kan; one daughter, Kathryn Diane Kennedy, Lenexa; one brother, Bill Gray, Moyers, Okla.; two sisters, Maxine Brigstocke, Wichita, Kan., and Betty Kraemer, San Jose, Calif; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie-Sunrise Beach. The Rev. Timothy R. Coppinger will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Monday. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
MOFFITT
Cora C. Moffitt, 96, Iberia, died June 23, 1999, at her home.
She was born
Dec. 9, 1902, in Tama, Iowa, a daughter of Tom and Mary Smith Hull. She was married
March 1,1919, in Iowa, to James M. Moffitt, who preceded her in death.
She was a cook for the General Leonard Wood United States Army Community Hospital for nine years, retiring in 1953.
Survivors include: one son, James Moffitt, Hesperia, Calif.; one daughter, Billie Ann Colvin, Iberia; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, Irene Moffitt and Lucille Sheridano, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Iberia Cemetery. Bro. Rick Smith will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Ozark Hospice.
