FEHR

Donald Ray Fehr, 62, of  Jefferson City, Mo., died July 10, 2003, at St Mary's Health Center.

He was born February 16, 1941, at St. Charles, Mo., the son of Raymond F. and Jeannette F. (Banker) Fehr. He was married April 28, 1962, to Dorothy A. McNown, who preceded him in death on December 16, 1978; he then was married June 20, 1981, at Hartsburg, Mo., to Cynthia Sue Brigham Bond, who survives of the home.

He was a graduate of the Francis Howell High School at St. Charles, Mo., and had attended the First United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the River City Collectors Guild, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the United Sportsmen Club.

He had been employed with A.W.S. as a certified welder in construction, had also been employed at Westinghouse in  Jefferson City, at West Lakes Quarries in St. Louis, and at the American Car & Foundry in St. Charles. He had been owner of the Fehr's Bass & Pro Shop and had been co-owner of the All-Star Power Equipment Co. He had also been active in the restoration of antiques, and was self-employed as an antique dealer.

Other survivors include four children: Brenda Kay Fehr of St. Charles, MO., Dana Lynne Fehr of Holts Summit, Mo., Troy Lee Fehr of Holts Summit, MO., and Adam Douglas Fehr of San Diego, California; two sisters, Rose E. Fehr and Sharon A. Hampshire, both of St. Charles, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Monday at 10:00 A.M. with the Rev. Gerald Boehmer officiating. Interment will be in the Linn Memorial Park Cemetery, Linn, Mo.

Visitation will be Sunday, 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Buescher Memorial Home, and Monday, 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the St., Mary's Health Center, or to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

McMAHAN

Mary Frances McMahan, 77, of  Jefferson City, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born October 24, 1925, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of Edward C. and Rose Smith McMahan. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 1943 graduate of  Jefferson City High School.

She was a Secretary at the Missouri Attorney Generals Office, the Missouri State Auditors Office and the Missouri Department of Revenue from 1944 - 1986. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Association of Retired State Employees. She was a lifetime member of the St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary.

She also enjoyed working with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by a cousin: Charles Smith of  Jefferson City.

Friends will be received from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2003, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Jerome Brownlee officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

SCHUBERT

Cortez Arno Schubert, 93, of  Jefferson City, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Missouri.

He was born April 14, 1910, in Brazito, Missouri, a son of John N. and Hulda Goldammer Schubert. He was married October 16, 1932, in Stringtown, Missouri to Oma Gibler, who preceded him in death on September 7, 1984.

He was in the Construction Business his whole life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served during World War II. He received a Bronze Star for heroic achievement in Munich, Germany. He was a Charter Member of Faith Lutheran Church in  Jefferson City and the Laborers Union Local #662 for over 60 years. He was also a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League.

He is survived by a sister: Mamie Propst of  Jefferson City and a daughter-in-law: Rose Schubert-Shelton of Wardsville. He was preceded in death by a son: Gene C. Schubert on January 24, 1990; two brothers: Clarence Schubert, Clayton Schubert and a sister: Lorene Linhardt.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday, at the HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2003, at the HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, with Rev. Alvin H. Lange officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Missouri or to Faith Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

STAYSA

Jeffery Wayne Staysa, 37, Sacramento, California and formerly of California, MO passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2003 in Sacramento, CA. He was born July 12, 1965 the son of Sally L. Staysa and Lawrence A. Staysa. He was a veteran of both the United States Navy and the United States Army, and while a Missouri Resident, he was employed with the Prenger Family Center and the Missouri Department of Corrections in  Jefferson City, MO. Also surviving is his daughter, Leah L. Staysa of California, MO; two brothers, David A. Staysa and Jason P. Staysa, two nieces, one aunt and a cousin. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, July 11, 2003 at the Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael, CA.

HATFIELD

William J. Hatfield, 89,  Jefferson City, MO, formerly of Kansas City, passed away Thursday, July 10, in  Jefferson City, MO.

Memorial Services will be at 3 p.m., Monday, July 14, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 1:30 p.m. until service time.

Jack was born in Mindenmines, MO, November 14, 1913, to Louis Franklin and Nettie Mae Collins Hatfield. He graduated from Foxtown High School. He married Lucille Weaver of Paola, KS, at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, March 10, 1944. He had worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company, the Army Corps of Engineers and retired from the City of Kansas City. Most of their years were spent in the Kansas City area. In 1999 they relocated to  Jefferson City.

Jack was a Mason and member for many years at the Swope Park Baptist Church, Kansas City. He had served on building committees of churches he had been a member of throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife Lucille of 59 years; one son, Roger Hatfield, and his wife Linda,  Jefferson City, MO; two granddaughters, Angela Meredith and her husband Greg,  Jefferson City, MO; and Melissa Hatfield,  Jefferson City, MO; two great step-grandchildren, Meghan and Malinda Meredith,  Jefferson City, MO; a brother, F.N. Hatfield and his wife Mary, Raymore, MO; a sister, Margaret Turney, Raytown, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Kansas.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

SNYDER

Lynn C. Snyder, age 89, of Versailles, passed away Friday evening, July 11, 2003 at the Stockton Nursing Home in Stockton.

He was born October 10, 1913 at High Point, Missouri, the son of Clarence S. and Flora A. Tising Snyder. He married Norma Audrey Osborne who preceded him in death.

Mr. Snyder worked for Co-Mo Electric for 32 years and retired as an electrical supervisor. He was a member of Hopewell Union Church near Versailles.

He is survived by one daughter, Anna Nickels of Rolla; one daughter-in-law, Pat Snyder of Laurie; 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Interment will be in the High Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the March of Dimes.

TYNES

Paul Douglas Tynes of Belle died late Thursday evening, July 10th, 2003, in a  Jefferson City hospital at the age of 45.

Paul had been diagnosed two weeks earlier with advanced cancer.

Paul's parents, Charles and Norman Dean Garner Tynes died when Paul was a teenager. After the death of his parents Paul lived with his grandmother Hazel Tynes.

Surviving Paul is his wife Mary Swanson Tynes of the home and a daughter Kolleen Tynes of Owensville. Also surviving is a brother Robert Anthony "Tony" Tynes of Belle, a sister Shelia Bezpalko of Scwenksville, Pennsylvania , maternal grandmother Mary Garner of Belle and paternal grandmother Hazel Tynes of Owensville.

Services for Paul will be held on Monday morning at 10:30 from the First Baptist Church in Belle. Internment will be in the Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin for friends at 5:00 PM on Sunday evening in the Sassmann's Chapel in Belle. A Masonic Service is planned for 8:00 PM.

BUBACH

Sharon Kay Bubach, age 55, of Lohman, died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center in  Jefferson City.

She was born January 4, 1948, in Lohman, a daughter of Walter and Marinda Stubinger Pistel who survive in Lohman. She was united in marriage to Marvin Bubach on March 16, 1968, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lohman and he survives at their home.

She was a 1966 graduate of Cole County R-1 High School in Russellville. She was employed with the Farmers Bank of Lohman for 28 years as a proof operator. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lohman where she was still active in the St. Paul's women of the church, had been active with the auction sale committee, and was a former Sunday School teacher and LYO sponsor for many years. She was also an active member of the Russellville/Lohman fire department auxiliary.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas and Stacy Bubach and Jeffrey Bubach all of Lohman; a brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Elda Pistel of Lohman and two granddaughters, Kaylin and Abby Bubach. She was preceded in death by one sister, JoAnn Pistel.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lohman with Rev. Carl Gauck officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery Fund or the St. Paul Organ Fund.

DINWIDDIE

Juanita Dinwiddie, 79, died Saturday, July 12, 2003.

Survivors include her husband: Earl Dinwiddie, of the home; two daughters: Lois Dean Miller, Olean, MO, and Gladys Marie Forrester, Eldon, MO; three sons: James Earl Dinwiddie, Farmington, MO, Donald Ray Dinwiddie, Eldon, MO and Gail Edward Dinwiddie, Rocky Mount, MO; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO, with Bro. John Shifflet officiating. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Blue Springs Baptist Church.

MOSLEY

Beulah H. Mosley, 92, California, MO and formerly of Chilhowee, MO died Sat. July 12, 2003 at the Moniteau Care Center in California, MO.

She was born June 13, 1911 in Post Oak, MO the daughter of Wes and Georgia May Hood Ford who preceded her in death. She was married to F. L. Mosley, who preceded her in death, July 17, 1968.

She worked for the Jacket and Pants factory in Holden; Unitog factory in Warrensburg; was the head cook at the Holiday Inn in Warrensburg and retired in 1985 as the head cook of the Nutrition Center in Warrensburg, MO.

She was of the Methodist faith, worked in the 4-H and with the Boys and Girl Scouts in Chilhowee.

Survivors include one son, Eddie Mosley with his wife, Doris of California, MO; one brother, Cletus Ford of Paola, KS; one sister, Stella Mosley of Clinton, MO, 6 grandchildren, Mark, Bobby and Brian Mosley, Melissa Luetkemeyer, Diane Schulte and Jamie Miller and 8 great grandchildren, Stephanie Reed, Daniel, Michael and David Mosley, Bradley and Lacy Schulte, Ryan and Holly Miller. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Reta Carol Miller, an infant daughter, Janice Mosley and 3 brothers, John, Chester and Wesley Ford.

Visitation will be Monday evening, 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, MO and on Tuesday, July 15, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at the Chilhowee Baptist Church. Services will be held at Chilhowee Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Rev. Ken Mathes will officiate and burial will be in Mineral Creek Cemetery, Leeton, MO.

Memorials may be made to the Main Street Baptist Church, 303 West Main St, California, MO 65018 or the American Cancer Society, care of Judy Allee, PO Box 333, Latham, MO 65050. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, MO.
