Coury
CLARKSDALE -- Funeral services for Tommy T. Coury, 64, of Clarksdale, a retired businessman, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. George's Episcopal Church, Clarksdale. He died April 1, 2002, at his home. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Clarksdale, under the direction of National Funeral Home, Clarksdale.
Mr. Coury was a retired owner of Magic Castle Arcade. He was born Oct. 20, 1937, to the late Toufic T. Coury Sr. and Maggie Coury of Clarksdale. He graduated from Clarksdale High School and attended Ole Miss and Memphis State University. He was a veteran of the Army, and was former owner of Coahoma County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He was a lifetime communicant of St. George's Episcopal Church. He was a member of MENSA; an active member of the Exchange Club; the American Legion Unit 28; Forty & Eight; Masonic Lodge; former member of Jaycees; and member and served on the National Board of Lambda Chi Alpha. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Toufic T. Coury Sr.
Survivors include three sisters, Vicky Coury of Clarksdale, Shirley Thomas of Greenville and Carolyn Coury of Southaven; four nieces; two great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Rev. Randall Sartin will officiate.

Holleman
GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Alton Lee Holleman Jr., 34, a salesman, will be today at 2 p.m. at 2 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church near Vaiden. He died of heart failure March 31, 2002, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home, Winona.
Mr. Holleman served in the U.S. Army National Guard for seven years during Operation Desert Storm. He was a salesman for Hughes Supply Co. of Greenwood.
Survivors include his parents, Alton Lee Holleman Sr. and Jean Holleman, both of Vaiden; one sister, Kelli Sue Holleman of Vaiden; and two brothers, Robert Holleman and DeWayne Holleman, both of Greenville.
The body will lie in repose from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the church.
The Rev. Gary Jackson and the Rev. Billy Little will officiate.

She died March 28, 2002, at Bronson Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Burial will be Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville, under the direction of Frye Funeral Home, Leland.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Harres Maxwell of Kalamazoo; two sons, Damien Maxwell and Lee Maxwell, both of Kalamazoo; one stepson, Harres Maxwell Jr.; one stepdaughter, Crystal Maxwell; her mother, Helen Peaches of Greenville; five sisters, Geraldine Hampton and Linda Peaches, both of Indianapolis, Sandra Drake of Jackson, Toni Peaches of Houston, Texas, and Angela Peaches of Greenville; and seven brothers, John Peaches and Kelvin Peaches, both of Sacramento, Jim Peaches of Muskogee, Okla., Charles Peaches of Greenville, Michael Peaches and Wendell Tory, both of Houston, and Kenneth Peaches of Augusta, Ga.

She died July 12, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Metcalfe, under the direction of Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include two aunts, Ellen Whitehead of Greenville and Rebecca Roach of Detroit; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

BENOIT — Funeral services for Christine Love Haynes, 75, of Benoit will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest MB Church, Greenville. She died July 13, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Asia Cemetery, Stringtown, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Emma Wigfall; one brother; one son; and one stepson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Anthony Haynes Sr. of Greenville; three daughters, Ruthie (Malcolm) Knight of Kansas City, Mo., and Geraldine (Willie) Jones and Jacqueline Rivera, both of Benoit; four sons, L.D. (Darlene) Love Jr. of Chicago, Nathaniel (Earnestine) Love of Benoit, Matthew Love of Memphis and Charles Edward Love Sr. of Atlanta, Ga.; one stepson, Anthony (Margaret) Haynes Jr. of Youngstown, Ohio; one special son, Eddie (Debra) Gammage of Benoit; two special daughters, Bridgette (James) Payne and Elaine (Donald) Carpenter, both of Youngstown, Ohio; one niece, Nettie Mae Davis of Macon, Ga.; two devoted cousins, Elijah Danley of Greenville and Jimmy (Brenda) Wigfall of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; 29 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Hughes
LELAND —Memorial services for Annette Herren Hughes, 84, of Macon, Ga., and formerly of Leland, a retired secretary, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville. She died of heart failure July 3, 2002, at Bolingree Nursing Center, Macon, Ga., of heart failure. Burial will be under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
She was born in Elizabeth, Miss., and was a graduate of Leland High School. She attended business school in Memphis, and was employed with Ayres Co. before retiring in the '60s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hughes. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Leland. She had been a resident of Macon, Ga., since the middle '90s.
Survivors include one son, Ausbin G. Pippin Jr. of Centerville, Ga.; three grandsons, Ausbin G. Pippin III of Savannah, Ga., Michael B. Pippin of Centerville, Ga., and Steven L. Pippin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and three great-granddaughters, all of Warner Robins, Ga.

ANGUILLA — Funeral services for Charley Johnson, 68, of Anguilla will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Christian Light MB Church, Anguilla. He died of heart failure July 10, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, Burial will be in St. Anna Cemetery, Anguilla, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include seven sons, James Earl Johnson of Hollandale, Charley Johnson of Raccine, Wis., Larry Lee Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, Henry Louis Johnson of Jackson, Sullivan Earl Johnson of Greenville, and Robert Earl Johnson and Fredrick Derrell Johnson, both of Anguilla; three daughters, Mary Johnson and Annie Lee Johnson, both of Anguilla, and Betty Bankhead of Jackson; his mother, Mary Davis of Anguilla; seven brothers, Lawrence Davis of Chicago, Calvin Davis of Carson, Calif., Robert Davis of Greenwood, and Roger Davis, James Davis, Alonzo Davis and John Davis, all of Anguilla; and two sisters, Fancy Davis Thomas of Anguilla and Helen Love of Chicago.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni. The body will lie in state at the church Sunday from noon to 1 p.m.
