HOLLANDALE -- Funeral services for Willie Mae Tyler, 48, of Hollandale will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity MB Church, Hollandale. She died Sept. 24, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Section Cemetery, Hollandale, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Hollandale.

Willie Mae was born Dec. 25, 1953, to Simmie Robinson and the late Ethel Lee Tyler. She accepted Christ at New Hope MB Church, Hollandale.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Lee Tyler; her maternal grandparents, Henry and Pinky Tyler; her paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Betty Robinson; and a stepmother, Rebecca Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Simmie (Elnora) Robinson of Hollandale; a special friend, Theodore Marks of Hollandale; six brothers, Walter Mitchell, Earl Tyler and Ronnie Lee Tyler, all of Hollandale, Walter Lee Robinson of North Carolina, Levi Robinson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Antonio Winters of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Mary (Curtis) Brown, Erma (Frank) Washington, Barbara (C.L.) Harris and Patricia Robinson, all of Hollandale; five aunts, Mary (Issac) Jackson, Geraldine (Freddie) Stewart and Peggy Preston, all of Hollandale, Mary (Joseph) White of Memphis and Beatrice Tyler of Vicksburg; five uncles, Albert (Elizabeth) Tyler of Hollandale, Robert (Shirley) Tyler of Cleveland, James (Barbara) Tyler of Jackson, Willie (Betty) Tyler of Chicago and Terry (Evette) Banks of Hattiesburg; a special friend, Luvenia Allen of Hollandale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Hollandale.

The Rev. William Harvey will officiate.

Waren

CLEVELAND -- Funeral service for Darlene Waren, 67, of Cleveland will be today at 10 a.m. at Ray Funeral Home, Cleveland. She died Oct. 1, 2002, at The Med, Memphis. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.

Dr. Joe Anderson will officiate.

Brown

SHELBY — Funeral services for Paylo Brown, 85, of Shelby will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Macedonia MB Church, Shelby. He died Nov. 25, 2002, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in Macedonia MB Church Cemetery under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Shelby.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at J.H. Hank Chapel of Byas Funeral Home, Shelby.

The Rev. Charles Hall will officiate.

Jackson

GREENVILLE — Memorial services for Freddie L. Jackson, 50, of Henderson, Ky., and formerly of Greenville will be Saturday at noon at Victory Temple Baptist Church, Greenville. He died of heart failure Nov. 24, 2002, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson. Arrangements are under the direction Harris-Brown & Marion Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include a loving wife, Mellisa Jackson of Henderson, Ky.; two sons, Derrick Jackson and Christopher Jackson, both of Chicago; two stepdaughters, Omeisha Topp and Sierra Gilbert; one stepson, Dezmond Gilbert of Henderson, Ky.; three brothers, James (Janice) Jackson of Chicago, Maurice (Vyckie) Cork of Jacksonville, N.C., and Wardell (Linda) Walter of Lake Village, Ark.; 10 sisters, Minnie (Mickie) Holt, Jewellean Cork, Felisha Tillman, Patricia (Warren) Scott and Sally (Freddie) Johnson, all of Greenville, Tyanne (Marvin) Smith of Memphis, and Allie Richmon, Audrey Malone, Diann Cork and Christina Cork, all of Arlington, Texas; one maternal aunt, Francis Roper of Arlington, Texas; a special stepfather, Wesley Cork of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Joseph

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Anthony George Joseph, 23, of Greenville will be Saturday at noon at Grace Temple Church, Greenville. He died Nov. 24, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Delta Memorial Gardens, Greenville, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include his parents, Jessie (Fletter) Joseph of Greenville; six brothers, Robert Washington, Oliver Joseph, Lamont Joseph, Albert Joseph Ross and Gwaine Ross, all of Greenville, and Jessie Joseph Jr. of North Cross, Ga.; five sisters, Carolyn (Willie) Harris, Debra (Clarence) Smith and Alice (Michael) Parker, all of Greenville, and Shelia Joseph and Vanessa Joseph, both of Houston, Texas; a special friend, Kenyatta Cowan of Greenville; 14 aunts; four uncles; 10 nieces; and nine nephews.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

The Rev. Henry Mason will officiate.

Millbrooks

INVERNESS — Funeral services for Arthur Millbrooks, 64, of Inverness will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove MB Church, Inverness. He died Nov. 25, 2002, at Rayville Hospital, Rayville, La. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Garden, Indianola, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Millbrooks of Inverness; his father, Arthur Millbrooks Sr. of Inverness; three sons, Arthur (Nettie) Millbrooks III of Indianola, and Willie B. Millbrooks and Percy Millbrooks, both of Indianapolis; four daughters, Marylynn (Willie) Alexander of Indianapolis, Doris (Evell) Townsend of Indianola, and Imogene Nailor and Corin (Marvin) Smith, both of Inverness; four sisters, Willie Mae Wright and Myrtis Evans, both of Indianapolis, Alberta (Bill) Bush of Indianola and Juanita (James) Campbell of Inverness; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Ransfer

INDIANOLA — Funeral services for Amzie Ransfer Jr., 58, of Indianola will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Dillon Funeral Home chapel, Indianola. He died Nov. 26, 2002, at North Sunflower County Hospital, Ruleville. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens, Indianola.

Survivors include his wife, Earnest B. Ransfer of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Amzie Ransfer III and Antoine Ransfer, both of St. Louis, Mo.; his father, Amzie Ransfer Sr. of Indianola; one brother, Al Ransfer of East St. Louis, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Dillon Funeral Home chapel.

The Rev. R.L. Harris will officiate.

Selby

CLEVELAND — Graveside services for Ollie Selby, 92, of Cleveland will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Round Lake Cemetery, Round Lake. She died Nov. 26, 2002, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland.

Survivors include nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her caretaker, Jerry Gomilla.

The Rev. Christian will officiate.

Swain

LELAND — Funeral services for Aiden Parker Swain, 6 days, of Leland will be at 10 a.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Nov. 24, 2002, at Central Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery, Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ted Ware, in 1996.

Survivors include his father and mother, Scottie and Sonya Swain of Leland; two brothers, Kelbie Tyler Swain and Logan Scott Swain, both of Leland; his paternal grandparents, Rodney and Deborah Swain of Leland; his maternal grandmother, Pat Love of McAdams; his maternal great-grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Kendrix of Durant, and Juanita Ware.

Visitation will be today from 9 to 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville.

Chaney

ANGUILLA — Funeral arrangements for Neg Wayne Chaney, 32, of Anguilla are pending at Walker Funeral Home, Rolling Fork. He died March 15, 2003, at Sharkey-Issaquena Community Hospital, Rolling Fork.

Frazier

KOSCIUSKO — Funeral services for Thomas A. Frazier, 54, of Kosciusko and formerly of Rosedale will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Kosciusko. He died March 18, 2003, at his home. Burial will be in Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko under the direction of Jordan Funeral Home, Kosciusko.

Mr. Frazier was a service technician and farmer. He was a member of Kosciusko First United Methodist Church and a member of the R/C Flying Club. He resided in Kosciusko for 32 years, after moving from Rosedale.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winnie Mabry Jones Frazier and Thomas Allen Frazier Sr.

Survivors include his spouse, Linda Windham Frazier of Kosciusko; two daughters, Debbie Frazier of Kosciusko, and Stephanie Frazier Love and son-in-law, Clark Love, of Madison; three sisters, Reitae Chennault of Memphis, Pat McKinney of Kennard, Texas, and Virginia Shackoulis of Cold Springs, Texas; and two brothers, Freddie Frazier of Cantonment, Fla., and Richard Frazier of Nashville, Tenn.

Loyacono

GLENVIEW, Ill. — A funeral Mass for Joseph D. Loyacono Sr., age unavailable, of Glenview, Ill., was Tuesday at St. Catherine Laboure Parish Church, Glenview. He died March 14, 2003.

He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph D. Loyacono Jr., and his parents, Ignace J. and Eunice Loyacono.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Loyacono of Wisconsin; a son, John Loyacono of Greenville, Miss.; one brother, James Loyacono of Colorado; one sister, Marcella Anderson of Iowa; and one grandson, Joseph D. Loyacono III of New York.

Pickens

CLEVELAND — Funeral arrangements for Kevin Pickens, 18, of Cleveland are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland. He died March 18, 2003, in Cleveland.

Bates

SILVER CITY — Funeral services for Tommie Bates Jr., 71, of Silver City, a farmer, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Little Mt. Zion MB Church, Silver City. He died of heart failure May 29, 2003, at his home. Burial will be in Little Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Midnight, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.

Survivors include five sons, Norman Bates, Melvin Bates, Tommie Earl Bates and Henry Bates, all of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Stanley Bates of Springfield, Ill.; five daughters, Doris Wilkins of Muskegon, Mich., Rochelle Ray of Springfield, Ill., Linda Norton of Silver City, Diana Winston of Ridgeland and Tammie Bates-Griffin of Madison; and 23 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.

Pastor C.W. Ray will officiate.
