Anna Mae (Good) McKeever
(October 7, 1939 - April 8, 2012)

Anna Mae (Good) McKeever, 72, of Ft. Benton and a retired elementary school teacher and farmer, died of complications from cancer on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at a Great Falls hospital.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Ft. Benton with a reception to follow at the Masonic Temple. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Anna Mae was born October 7, 1939 to N. Paul and Mary Good in Great Falls. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Ft. Benton High School in 1957. Anna Mae married the love of her life, Gene McKeever, on June 22, 1958 and remained happily married for 44 years until his death in 2002.
She attended Western Montana College in Dillon receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and taught school in Ft. Benton, Dillon and Helena. She and her husband returned to the family farm in Ft. Benton in 1973 where they raised their family and were ardent supporters of Longhorn athletics.
Anna Mae was active with Eastern Star, United Methodist Women (UMW), and a Longhorn booster. She enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with the Library Ladies, and holding her own in bingo with Brad and Steve.
Survivors include her mother, Mary E. Good and daughter, Nikki (Dan) Stovall all of Ft. Benton; son, Kelly (Pam) McKeever of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Wyley (Gail) Good of Ft. Benton and Kent (Rolene) Good of Wilmot, SD; grandchildren, Amanda Stovall of Great Falls and Brett Stovall of Springfield, IL.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Gene McKeever.

Daniel F. "Sonny" Elliott
(March 20, 1933 - January 8, 2013)

Daniel F. "Sonny" Elliott, 79, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Tuesday, January 8 2013, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Christian Fellowship Church. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home. A formal burial will take place in April.
Sonny was born March 20, 1933, in Great Falls to James Elliott and Marguerite Powell. He was one of eleven children. Sonny was a Korean War veteran who served in the United States Navy and Army.
He married Norma Sangrey in 1977 and together raised eleven children. They were married 35 years. Sonny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was a two-time champion golden glove boxer, two-time AAU champion who went to the nationals twice, avid fisherman, hunter, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed participating in the countless family and community events.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Sandra (Larry) McWilliams, Diane Cummins, Susie Olson, and Jean (Martie) Harvie all of Great Falls, Carol Franco of Helena, Paula Wolfe of Heath, Ohio; stepsons Carl Sangrey Jr., Jerry (Lynn) Sangrey, and Aaron (Christa) Liscum all of Great Falls, Scott (Kristi) Sangrey of Missoula; sister June Elliott of Great Falls; brothers Carl Elliott of San Diego, CA and Thomas Elliott of Midfield, AL.; 30 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Elliott; brothers Kenneth Elliott, Bob Elliott, Edward Elliott, and Gene Elliott; sisters Marguerite Williams, Ethelmae Robbins, and Gertrude Orr; and parents James and Marguerite Elliott.

Ruth Elaine Sanderson
(March 13, 1933 - January 1, 2013)

Ruth Elaine (Bley) Sanderson, 79, of Great Falls, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Benefis Skilled Nursing Center of natural causes.
At her request, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Conner Funeral Home.
Ruth was born to Andrew and Mildred Bley on March 13, 1933 in Great Falls. For most of her life she was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, her yard, and her flowers more than anything. Pink ones were her favorite. One of the most special things in her life was her pets, and her love for them was enormous. She was especially proud to be a grandma. She loved her grandchildren so much. Ruth was such a classy and loving mom, grandma, and friend. She will be missed by so many.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Karla Sanderson and Stacey Sanderson both of Great Falls; son Danny Sanderson of Great Falls; granddaughters Lindsey, Kristyna, and Breanna; grandson Brandon; her only great-granddaughter, RaeLei Theresa; sister Thelma Keenan; and brothers Cliff Wenzek of Whitefish and Larry Wenzek of Pasco, WA.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Sanderson; daughter Kathleen Sanderson; other brothers and sisters; and many other family members.

Barbara Aleksinski
(May 7, 1924 - February 18, 2013)

Barbara (Basiewicz) Aleksinski, 88, of Great Falls, a retired caregiver, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 from natural causes at a local care facility.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Barbara was born on May 7, 1924 in Warsaw, Poland. She grew up and attended schools there, receiving a nursing degree. She worked as a Red Cross nurse, fought in the underground, and was subjected to a prisoner of war camp in Germany during World War II.
Barbara married Frank Aleksinski in 1945, and they moved to Great Falls in 1949. She was a member of St. Ann’s Cathedral. She loved to read and help people. She loved music and dancing the polka.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Christine Aleksinski of Great Falls; son Robert Aleksinski of Grayland, WA; brother Marian Basiewicz of Warsaw, Poland; and grandchildren Bobby Aleksinski of Portland, OR and Ginger Aleksinski of Delavan, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Aleksinski, in 1979; son Mark Aleksinski in 2005; adopted grandson Robert Arnold; and her children’s god parents, Bob and Ann Weldele.

Olga Mary Johnson
(August 26, 1908 - February 18, 2013)

Olga S. (Seder) Johnson, 104, of Great Falls and formerly of Belt, a retired ranch wife and homemaker, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 from natural causes at a local care facility.
Funeral services will be held at a later date this spring with burial in the Tiger Butte cemetery. O’Connor Funeral is handling arrangements.
Olga is survived by her daughter, Marlys Hall of Great Falls; son G. F. “Gerry” Johnson of Tiger Butte; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sigurd Johnson (2000).

Leslie Dawn Gregg
(January 10, 1956 - February 18, 2013)

Leslie Dawn Gregg, 57, of Great Falls died Monday, February 18, 2013, of Downs Syndrome at a local care facility.
Funeral services will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Highland cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Leslie was born on January 10, 1956 to Lloyd and Helen (Surmi) Gregg in Great Falls, Montana. She attended Easter Seals for over 30 year where she enjoyed helping on a project every year for the State Fair. At Easter Seals Goodwill, she worked in the mail room and later was involved in community access.
For entertainment she liked to go out for dinner at Pizza Hut on Friday nights and having popcorn and pop at the movies. She especially enjoyed Santa Claus and dressing up for Halloween at Easter Seals parties.
For 30 years she lived with her sister, Nancy, and Nancy’s family; husband Larry and two sons, Larry and Richie. She especially treasured her time with her great niece, Gracie.
Leslie is survived by her sisters, Nancy Zbinden and husband Larry of Great Falls, Marilee Lafond and husband Russell of Roy, MT, Coralee Olson of Tucson, AZ; brother James Krick of Great Falls; seven nephews and four nieces.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Memorials are suggested to East Seals Goodwill or donor’s choice.

Andrew Louis Kimmet
(September 22, 1925 - March 1, 2013)

Andrew L. Kimmet, 87, of Great Falls, a retired General Mills employee and US Army veteran, died on Friday, March 1, 2013 of natural causes at Peace Hospice.
The family would like to greet friends and family during the visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at O’Connor Funeral Home. There will be one hour of viewing prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Great Falls Christian Center with burial to follow at Mount Olivet cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Andrew was born September 22, 1925 in Conception, MO to Adam and Josephine (Rubeck) Kimmet. His family moved to Sunburst when he was 5 years old. He was raised there and later moved to Great Falls. He served in the US Army from 1946 to 1948. He married Clara Redle on November 18, 1950 in Great Falls. They raised five children here.
Andrew worked for the Great Falls Meat Company before going to work for the Great Northern Railway. He began working for General Mills in 1949 and worked there until his retirement in 1986.
He enjoyed gardening, camping, and working around the home. He was a member of Great Falls Christian Center.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Clara Kimmet of Great Falls; daughters Virginia (Steven) Tull of Superior, Karen (Jim) LaRocque of Great Falls, and Bonnie (Paul) Radonich of Great Falls; sons Richard Kimmet of Sun Prairie and Donald (Marsha) Kimmet of Missoula; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother George Kimmet of Billings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and four brothers.
Memorials in Andrew’s name are suggested to the organization of the donor’s choice.

Joseph "Bim" Cottrell
(April 23, 1928 - March 4, 2013)

Joseph “Bim” Cottrell, 84, of Great Falls, a self-employed truck driver, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 of natural causes at a local hospital.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Jo Jo (Dale) Beanblossum, Dee (Bill) Hartman, and Vickie (Cliff) Podvin all of Great Falls, Yvonne Cottrell of Kalispell, Sally Miller and Becky (Garth) Moody both of Havre; sons Gary (Joyce) Cottrell of Great Falls, Joseph (Barb) Cottrell of Vaughn, and Lloyd (Lisa) Rice of Plains; sister Vi Frantich of Washington; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved and lived for them.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cottrell, in 2007.

Donald “Don” Figarelle
(June 19, 1929 - March 3, 2103)

Donald “Don” Figarelle, 83, of Great Falls, a retired sanitation worker for the City of Great Falls and United States Army and Korean War veteran, died on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from complications of influenza at a local hospital.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5 pm to 8 pm at O’Connor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00 am at O’Connor Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Olivet cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Don was born June 19, 1929 to Augusto and Inez (Peressini) Figarelle in Black Eagle. He worked for the Great Northern Railway from 1949 to 1951 as a machinist helper before enlisting in the United States Army. He served in the Korean War from March 1951 to February of 1953. Don then worked for the City of Great Falls Water and Sanitation Department for over 35 years.
Don is survived by his sisters, Clara Williams of Great Falls and Cathy Peska of Chicago, IL; brothers John Figarelle, Ed Figarelle, Mike Figarelle, and August Figarelle all of Great Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tony Figarelle and Richard Figarelle; and sisters Ann Keel and Theresa Figarelle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Great Falls Senior Citizen’s Center or Shodair Children’s Hospital.

Harvey E. Dustrude, Sr.
June 3, 1926 - February 19, 2013

Harvey Earl Dustrude Sr, 86, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Saturday, Feb. 16, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre.

Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at O'Connor Funeral Home. Funeral liturgy is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Ann's Cathedral. Burial with military honors will follow at Highland cemetery. O'Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Harvey attended schools in Wood, S.D., then joined the Marine Corps during World War II. He served in the Palaus Campaign, Okinawa and the Occupation of China. Following his discharge he returned to Montana and worked in construction. He was a teamster for the City of Great Falls. After his retirement he worked for the Great Falls Food Bank.

He was a member of St. Ann's Cathedral.

Harvey is survived by his son, Harvey E. "Rusty" Dustrude Jr. of Havre; a sister, Dorothy Marie Hudson of Rapid City, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
