Ms. Tiffany Nicole Holmes, 24, of 2107 Judd St., Fayetteville, died Monday in her home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by the Rev. George Keels. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery No. 4.
Ms. Holmes is survived by a daughter, Monica R. Holmes of the home; her parents, Joseph and Sarah Nsiah of Harvey, La.; a brother, Twuamasi Nsiah of Harvey; a sister, Tina Nsiah of Harvey; and her maternal grandmother, Sarah Holmes of Fayetteville.
The public will be received today from 1 to 8 p.m. at Wiseman Mortuary.
The family will receive friends at the home of Sarah Holmes, 616 Platinum St.

Retired Army Command Sgt. Maj. Charlie Carter Scearce Jr., 61, of 5121 Pala Verde Drive, Fayetteville, died Wednesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Roosevelt ‘Billy’ Jackson
RAEFORD -- Roosevelt ‘‘Billy’’ Jackson, 73, of 488 Doc Brown Road died Monday.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Laurinburg by the Rev. James C. McLean. Burial with military honors will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Nezzie ‘‘Nell’’ Jackson of the home; three stepsons, Edward Ferguson and Dwayne Ferguson, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Bryant Ferguson of Los Angeles; two stepdaughters, Sheryl Thompson and Natasha White, both of Raeford; a sister, Elizabeth Hampton of Baltimore; three brothers, Henry L. Stubbs of Red Springs, Eddie Stubbs of Laurinburg and Oscar L. Stubbs of Baltimore; and 15 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at East Freedom Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Iris W. Bryant

ERWIN -- Mrs. Iris Whittington Bryant, 66, of 404 Bryant Road died Tuesday in Good Hope Hospital.
Mrs. Bryant was the owner of Iris Poodle Grooming Service. She was the co-owner of L.D. Bryant Landscape Service. She was an Erwin town commissioner.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Price Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Ronnie Byrd. Burial will be in Erwin Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by her husband, L.D. Bryant of Erwin; a son, Michael T. Bryant of Erwin; a daughter, Sharon B. Graham of Jacksonville; her mother, Annie Whittington of Lillington; a brother, Fredrick T. ‘‘Buddy’’ Whittington of Virginia; four sisters, Marian W. Byrd of Apex, Dale A. Shittington of Angier, Brenda W. Page of Godwin and Gay L. Moore of New Jersey; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Donnie R. ‘Bull’ Bullock
HOPE MILLS -- Donnie Royal ‘‘Bull’’ Bullock, 67, of 5450 Wyando Drive died Tuesday in Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, S.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Butler Funeral Home by the Revs. Randy Anderson and Gregg Blackwell. Burial will be in Autryville Church of God cemetery.
Mr. Bullock is survived by a daughter, Dianne Comes of Fayetteville; three sons, Jay Bullock of Hope Mills, Mike Bullock of Dunn and Tommy Bullock of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

LILLINGTON -- Willie Louis Bowden, 60, of 94 Antonio Lane died Monday in Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Mr. Bowden is survived by his wife, Rosalyn Bowden of Raleigh; a son, Michael Montgomery of Raleigh; his mother, Arbetrice Bowden of Raleigh; five sisters, the Rev. Rebecca B. Johnson of Fuquay-Varina, Betty B. Morris, Josephine B. Strickland and Paulette Bowden, all of Raleigh, and Linda B. Wright of Las Vegas; a brother, Paul Bowden of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Pridgen is survived by a daughter, Armelia Currie of Whiteville; a son, Nathaniel Pridgen of Cerro Gordo; two sisters, Betty J. Marsh and Sally M. Arnette, both of Bladenboro; and four brothers, Robert Shipman of Whiteville, Gaddy Shipman of Haywood, Calif., Lacy Shipman of Chicago and Frank Shipman of Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Ann E. Shearer

Mrs. Ann Oliver Evans Shearer, 76, of Fayetteville died Tuesday in her home.
Mrs. Shearer was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She served as the chairman of volunteers and on the board of directors for the Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church by Drs. J.W. Coker and James B. McKoy. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Shearer is survived by three daughters, Susann S. East of Charlotte, Bess S. Treadwell of Fayetteville and John Ann S. Earnhardt of Raleigh; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Stanley Jones Sr. of New York; two sons, Stanley E. Jones Jr. and Richard L. Jones, both of New York; two daughters, Marcia J. McNeill of Lumberton and Deborah J. Jones of New York; her mother, Lillie B. Taylor of Fairmont; three brothers, Alexander Taylor and Nathaniel Taylor, both of Fairmont, and Willie Taylor of Lumberton; a sister, Mary B. Shipman of Fairmont; and nine grandchildren.

Mr. Millard was a member of Faison United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer and a Navy veteran.

Richard J. Bouldin

Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Richard John ‘‘Rocky’’ Bouldin, 74, of 5702 Selkirk Place, Fayetteville, died Tuesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Bouldin was an Air Force command pilot for 32 years and was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake by Chaplain Frank Daniels.
Mr. Bouldin is survived by his wife, Marcella W. Bouldin of Fayetteville; two sons, Richard J. Bouldin of Sidney, Neb., and Christopher J. Bouldin of Chapel Hill; two daughters, Barbara A. Harkai of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Rebecca A. Neal of Benson; seven grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
