CLARKTON -- Mrs. Emma Robinson, 84, of Clarkton died Sunday.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pierce’s Chapel AME Zion Church by the Rev. Elijah Coleman. Burial will be in Mitchell Field Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two sons, John Robinson of Paterson, N.J., and Glen Jacobs of Victorville, Calif.
Maggie C. Scarboro

VASS -- Ms. Maggie Campbell Scarboro, 76, of Vass died Wednesday in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Ms. Scarboro was a homemaker.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in New Home Baptist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Phillips. Burial will be in House of the Lord Church cemetery.
Ms. Scarboro is survived by two daughters, Lucille S. Danley and Jeanette S. Baker, both of Carthage; a son, Jimmy R. Scarboro of Sanford; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

James McDonald

James McDonald, 52, of 1203 Irving St., Fayetteville, died Monday in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McDonald worked for National Linen Service.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Wiseman Mortuary chapel by Dr. J.C. White. Burial will be in Mount Hebrew Cemetery in Parkton.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his mother, Lena P. McDonald of Fayetteville; three brothers, Charles McDonald of East Orange, N.J., Rufus McDonald of Fayetteville and Michael McDonald of White Oak; and five sisters, Sharon McNeill of Hope Mills and Deborah McNeill, Theodoshia Butler, Shelia McDonald and Rose M. Moore, all of Fayetteville.

Lloyd Earl Aiken, 72, of Fayetteville died Thursday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Aiken was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for Burlington Industries before retiring. Mr. Aiken was also vice president of Pearces Mill Fire Department.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Revs. Gary Strickland and Dallas Gurganus. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Aiken is survived by his wife, Ruby Aiken of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Miller, Rose Strickland and Patty Mobley, all of Fayetteville; and three sisters, Margaret Allen of Fayetteville, Agnes Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Helen Miller of Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Murray is survived by a daughter, Maureen Fowler of Monterey, Calif.; five sons, Sean Murray of Central Point, Ore., Timothy Murray of Hopkinton, N.H., George Murray III of Minden, Nev., Gregory Murray of Long Beach, Calif., and Kevin Murray of San Pedro, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
