SADIE G. MARTINEZ, 86, of Santa Fe died Saturday after a brief illness.
She was born to the late Vicente and Sophia Gutierrez in Golden. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac J. Martinez.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Martinez Sr. and wife Maria; grandsons whom she raised, Vincent Martinez Jr. and wife Lesley and Martin Martinez; daughters, Marty Hoffman and Helen Vigil; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.

ANTONIA (TONITA) PADILLA, 76, of Santa Fe died Friday after a long battle with breast cancer.
She graduated from Loretto Academy in 1945. She then started a 40-year banking career, working first at First National Bank of Santa Fe. She also worked at Santa Fe National Bank and was one of the original employees of Capital Bank, under the direction of Ike Kalangis. Her career culminated in her becoming vice-president of Sunwest Bank. She contributed thousands of dollars to various charities, particularly those involving hunger and children. She was an avid reader, bowler and loved to gamble. She was a parishioner of Cristo Rey Church and a member of the Cristo Rey Altar Society and Union Protectiva Femenina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Cesaria Martinez Rivera and brother, Jose Reyes Rivera.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Jose Padilla and children, Carmen Carrillo and husband Michael Kuhlewind, Andrew and Michael Carrillo; Leo Padilla, Celina Varela and husband Gene, Maria Padilla-Enyart and husband Steve, Cesaria (Cia) Tapia, and Nicole and Arianne Padilla; brother, Matias Rivera, sister, Eloyda Garcia and husband Rudy, and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday at Cristo Rey Church with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, followed by a reception at Cristo Rey Center.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 224523; Dallas, TX 75222.

PAT TRUJILLO, 61, of Abiquiu died unexpectedly Sunday.
He enjoyed the rodeo and hunting. He was a loving husband, devoted to his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Trujillo.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Trujillo of Abiquiu; children, Patrick Trujillo and wife Shannon of Los Alamos and Tanner Trujillo and wife Lenni of Abiquiu, two grandchildren; mother, Tita Trujillo and husband Tony; brothers, Gino Trujillo, Mick Trujillo and wife Debbie, all of Abiquiu; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today in the Sangre De Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will tentatively be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu with burial to follow at Abiquiu Cemetery. Call DeVargas Funeral Home for confirmation.

CASIMIRO "CASEY" BENAVIDEZ SR., 55, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Sunday at Alta Vista Regional Hospital.
He was born in La Manga to Gonzalo Benavidez and Lucy Madrid Benavidez. He was married to Augustina Benavidez in 1998 at Immaculate Conception Church. He graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1969 and was drafted right after high school. He served in the U.S. Army as SP4 during the Vietnam War for two years. He was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed working, building rock walls and restoring historic homes. Through his work, he was well-known for his talent. During his spare time he enjoyed going to the ranch, where he planted and tended to his orchard. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 12. He was preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Benavidez and brother, Fidel Benavidez. He is survived by his wife, Augustina Benavidez of the family home in Las Vegas, N.M.; children, Casey Benavidez Jr. and wife Jessica, Shawn Benavidez, Renee Benavidez and Chalo Benavidez, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; two grandchildren; mother, Lucy Benavidez of Las Vegas, N.M.; brothers and sisters, Manuel Benavidez, Rafael Benavidez, Clorinda Romero and husband Joe, Lena Flores and husband Paul, Jessie Archuleta and husband Arthur, Rose Salazar and husband Johnny, and Helen Vargas and husband Geraldo, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends. A public visitation will be held all day today until time of rosary at the Rogers Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. JEAN BUTLER COYLE, 78, of Santa Fe died Monday. She lived on ranches in New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming and Belize. She was comfortable branding calves on the ranch, relaxing on a cruise or touring Europe. Her vibrant personality and sense of adventure combined with her spiritual belief that there is goodness in everyone brightened many people's lives. She had owned and operated an Indian arts and crafts shop, The Shalako, in Springerville, Ariz. She was a licensed real estate agent and was renovating several properties. She also traveled and bought arts and crafts in Mexico and sold them on her Web site. She engaged in our political system and always articulated her feelings to our political leaders. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Clara Butler; sister, Helen Butler Johnstone and husband M.J. Coyle. She is survived by her son, Patrick and wife Kathy of Livermore, Calif.; Erin Coyle of Santa Fe; Michael Coyle and wife Charlotte of Englewood, Colo.; Matthew and wife Jasandra of Sandia Park; six grandchildren; brother, James G. Butler and wife Mary Ellen; and many other relatives and friends. Mass will be celebrated at Saint Francis Cathedral at 1 p.m. Friday followed by a celebration of her life at her home, 619 Webber St., Santa Fe. CELESTINA M. SISNEROS, 82, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Monday. She was a former resident of Dahlia. She was born in Cañon Blanco to the late Roman Sisneros and Adela Ortega Sisneros. She was married to the late Fidel Sisneros in 1940 at St. Joseph's Church in Anton Chico. She loved sewing, tending to her flower garden and cooking. She was always willing to help her friends and family when they were in need. She was strong in her faith and her devotion was to El Santo Niño de Atocha. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Adela Sisneros; husband, Fidel Sisneros; grandmother who raised her, Sofia Olguin; brothers, Leandro Sisneros, Juan Sisneros, and Casimiro Sisneros; sister, Genoveva Sisneros; daughter, Dora Baca; and sons, Richard Sisneros and Gerald Sisneros. She is survived by her children, Amelia "Molly" Sisneros of the family home in Las Vegas, N.M., Delma Baca of Santa Rosa, Manuel Sisneros and wife Maxine of Santa Fe, Jose Sisneros and wife Christine of Portales, Sofia Christian and husband George of Bakersfield, Calif., Maria Consuelo Chavez of Clovis, Paul D. Sisneros and wife Annie of San Jose, Gloria Garcia and husband Leroy of Sapello, Patricio Raul Sisneros and wife Joan of Farmington; sisters, Rita Velasquez of Anton Chico, Elena Aguilar and husband Margarito and Maria Castillo, all of Portales; brothers, Orlando Sisneros and wife Juanita of Las Animas, Colo., and Antonio Sisneros of Anton Chico; grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was born to E.B. and Laura Elizabeth Bullock in Texas. She enjoyed taking her visiting friends and relatives on private tours of her favorite places in Santa Fe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Irby.
She is survived by her sister, Laura B. Shafer and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at McGee Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

DOMITILA "TILA" T. VILLA, 81, of Chimayó died Wednesday.
She loved to help everyone and everyone loved her. She enjoyed being with people and belonged to a woman's sewing club. She graduated from Menaul High School. She loved cooking, gardening and ranching. She was a caretaker for Amada and Julianita Trujillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Celsa Trujillo; and sister, Urbanita Romero.
She is survived by her husband, George Villa of Chimayó; son, Mario Villa of Chimayó, brothers, Nick Trujillo of Chimayó and Bert Trujillo of Albuquerque and many other relatives and friends.
Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. today at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
