JACK T. GRAHAM
Jack T. Graham, 82, of Sandia Park died Jan. 11, 2006.
Jack was born in Roscoe, Texas. He was a WWII veteran, general contractor (including "Jack of All Trades"), dealer in art, doughnuts, ice cream and good humor. He worshipped at Mountain Christian Church with those whom he came to love and those who shared his life. He was a larger-than-life presence in any room and his company and running commentary on his surroundings made him the joy and pleasure of those who were drawn to his company. Jack loved the Lord, spoke often of Him to his friends and now enjoys the eternal presence of his heavenly Father.
He is joined in reunion with his first wife, Jody, and his son, Chuck, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his devoted wife Claudia; three children, John, James and wife Jennie, and Beth and husband Bill; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two stepdaughters, Terri and Jennie.
A memorial service was held Sunday at Mountain Christian Church in Cedar Crest.

EARL ARTHUR MOORE
Earl Arthur Moore, 85, of Corona passed away Jan. 11, 2006 in Ruidoso.
Earl was born Dec. 12, 1920, to Emery and Julia (Roth) Bucher in Sunbury, Pa. Earl had been raised by his stepfather, Edgar L. Moore, and took his last name. He married Lovella Akin on Feb. 27, 1939, in Carlsbad. Earl proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Earl had worked as a firefighter at Holloman Air Force Base until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion.
Earl is survived by his wife, Lovella, of the home; a son, Richard Lee Moore and wife Irene of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Lola F. Kanady and husband Frank of Weiser, Idaho; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Earl will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
A graveside service for Earl was held Monday at the Corona Cemetery with Pastor Art Dunn officiating. A lunch was served at the Senior Center in Corona following the service.

LENORA ANN DENNISSON-TODD
Lenora Ann Dennisson-Todd, 68, of Stanley passed away Jan. 11, 2006 in Albuquerque with her loving family beside her.
Lenora was born Sept. 29, 1937, to Everett and Mary (Gates) Dennisson in Stanley. Lenora was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
She is survived by her brother, Larry Dennisson and wife, Dorothy, of Stanley; sisters, Addie Jo Smith and husband, Jack, of Stanley, and Marlyn Kempenich and husband Al of Truth or Consequences; sister-in-law, Shirley Dennison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Todd; parents, Everett and Mary Dennisson; son, Johnny Todd; brother, Jim Dennison; and sister, Clara Virginia Todd. All that knew and loved Lenora will miss her.
A memorial was held Monday at the residence of Larry Dennisson in Stanley.

CLAUDIO B. CHAVEZ
Claudio "Clyde" B. Chavez, 74, a lifelong resident of Stanley, passed away Jan. 14, 2006.
Clyde was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Tapia, N.M. He was a man of great faith and a dedicated and loving husband of 49 years to his wife, Cora Chavez. Clyde was a caring and loving father to his four children, Ray Chavez of Riverside, Calif., Jamie Chavez and wife, Bernadette, of Stanley, Helen Waldorf and husband, Guy, of Stanley, and Marcella Aragon and husband, Tommy, of Moriarty. His grandchildren, Claudia Chavez, David Chavez, Samantha Chavez, Sara Chavez, Joshua Aragon, John Chavez, Morgan Aragon, Hayden Waldorf and Paige Waldorf, were a great pleasure and pride for him.
Clyde served proudly as a Marine and worked for King Brothers Ranch as a truck driver for 54 years. He was known to family and truck driver friends as Goldfinger. Clyde had a compassionate nature and spread his zest for life to all those he encountered. He will long be remembered for the genuine smile that never left his face, his optimism and the kind words he expressed to all.
He leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Joe Willie Chavez and wife, Lila, Chris Chavez and wife, Rita, Mary Pena and husband, Clyde; Lupe Chavez and wife, Eva; David Chavez and wife, Mickie; Linda Chavez, Tommy Chavez and wife, Beatrice; Grace Esquibel and husband, Jesse, Adrian Chavez, and Buck Chavez and wife, Dee.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Onofre and Catalino Chavez; and two brothers, Manuel G. Chavez and Raymond T. Chavez.
A rosary was recited Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. Mass was celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Father William Young officiating. Interment followed at the Stanley Cemetery.

WILLIAM HARPER MCFARLAND
William Harper McFarland, 84, of Stanley passed away Jan. 17, 2006 in Roswell with his loving family beside him.
Harp was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Ballinger, Texas, to John Harp and Willie (Wood) McFarland. He married Elsie Matherly on Feb. 26, 1947. She preceded him in death in January 2003.
Harp grew up in Texas and lived the life of a hard-working cowboy. He worked six or seven days a week and then drove 400 miles to a roping just for the fun of it. His hobby was his work.
Harp is survived by his sons, Bill McFarland and wife Myra of Roswell, Jim McFarland and wife Sandi of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Lee McFarland of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Glen McFarland and wife Norma of Graham, Texas; four grandchildren, J.P. McFarland and wife Jenn of Tucson, Ariz., Jenny Salgado and husband Rick of Rio Rancho, Travis Shives and wife Tammy of Ft. Hood, Texas, and Wesley McFarland of College Station, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Braelyn, Oriana, Noah, Kiara and Brody; and many other family members and a host of friends. All that knew and loved Harp will miss him.
A viewing for Harp will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stanley Union Church in Stanley. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m.at the Stanley Union Church with Rev. Jim Thompson officiating.
The family requests donations to the Stanley Union Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1, Stanley, NM 87056.

HAROLD IRVIN DRESSLER
Harold Irvin Dressler, 77, of Estancia went to be with his Heavenly Father on Dec. 23, 2005.
Harold was born and raised in Mountainair. He worked at the mercantile when you took the groceries to the customer's house and they bought goods on their word.
He served in the Army for 18 months in Korea. The stories he could tell. That was the hardest time of his life.
He worked on the Von Cain Ranch in New Mexico and the Brendwil Ranch in Texas, hauled cattle and was a carpenter. He was a cowboy at heart. The place he loved the most was on a mountain under a tree and the stars. Trapping, hunting and reading were also things he enjoyed.
He lived in Amarillo for 22 years, received his 30-year carpentry pin there, and also was awarded a 15-year pin in New Mexico. He talked about working on the Mountain Bell building all the time.
He is survived by two daughters, Tillie Hullen of Amarillo, and Anna Tucek of Canyon, Texas; two sons, Harold Dressler Jr. and John Dressler, both of Amarillo; a sister, Ova Faye Smith of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren, Madison, Sydney, Averiann, Jordan, Morgan, Emma, Wyatt and Garrett.
Services were held Dec. 27 at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, officiated by Rev. Terry Meyer, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Canyon, Texas.
He was laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. He is very loved and missed.
