Brenda Clark
GENEVA - Brenda Clark, 67, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 19 with family at her side.
Friends called Monday, Nov. 21 at the Palmisano Funeral Home. A funeral service in Brenda's honor was held Tuesday, Nov. 22 the funeral home. Burial followed in Oaklawn cemetery in Oaks Corners.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lester; son, Donald (Sally) Clark of Geneva; brothers, Donald (Betty) Zettlemoyer of Phelps, Richard (Shirley) Zettlemoyer of Waterloo and Joseph Zettlemoyer of Waterloo; sister, Edna Miller of Geneva; grandchildren, Dawn (Dan) Bedell of Geneva and Candice Clark of Salem, Mass.; great-grandchildren Skylar and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Tessie Zettlemoyer.
Clark L. Iddings
PHELPS - Clark L. Iddings, 70, of 36 Mill St., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at his home.
Friends called Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Cheney Funeral Home, in Phelps.
A funeral service was Friday, Nov. 18 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lynn Spence officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Iddings was born Nov. 13, 1935, in Phelps, the son of the late Earnest and Jessie Bement Iddings. He was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Saratoga. Mr. Iddings retired from the town of Pittsford after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Donna Iddings; daughter, Jeanne (George) Davis of Phelps; son, Stephen Iddings of Pittsford; grandson, Jason Hughson; sisters and brothers, Elaine (Gilbert) Ellis of Sodus, Virginia Babcock of Florida, Gary (Alice) Iddings of Newark and Bonnie (David) Opdyke of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
John P. Reubens
NEWARK - John P. Reubens, 82, entered into rest Friday, Nov. 11, 2005.
Friends and family called at the Stevens Funeral Home in Marion, where a funeral service immediately followed. Interment will be in Marion cemetery.

John was born July 9, 1923, in Manchester, the son of Peter and Flora Smith Reubens. He was a World War II veteran of the Marines. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 1 in Albany. He worked at Jackson & Perkins for 23 years and CH Stewart for 20 y ears.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Esther; daughter, Carol (Duane) Keukelaar of Fairport; son, Donald (Dorothy) VanEnwyck of Newark; grandchildren, Richard, Anne, John Keukelaar and Donald K. VanEnwyck; two great-grandchildren, Richard Jr. and Donovan Keukelaar; stepsister, Ila Keukelaar of Newark; sisters-in-law, Beatrice (Fred) Ross of Marion and Marian Hadlock of Webster; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister, Caroline VandeWalle; and grandchildren, Shawn and Kimberly Keukelaar.
Valerie S. Schmidtka
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Valerie S. Schmidtka of Clifton Springs passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2005.
A memorial service was Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Clifton Springs Baptist Church.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Felix Church Food Cupboard in Clifton Springs.
Valerie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Canandaigua.
She is survived by her parents, Eugene and Geneva Schmidtka of Canandaigua; two sisters, Teresa (Donald) Shaffer and Dawn (Paul) Norton, both of Clifton Springs; two nieces; and two nephews.
Arrangements were by Sainsbury Funeral Home in Shortsville.
Sally Storms
OAKS CORNERS - Sally Storms, 90, formerly of Cross Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends were invited to a graveside service on Monday, Nov. 21 in Resthaven cemetery with Elder Elmer Millard officiating.
Sally was a partner with her husband, Clinton, who died in 1997, at the Midway Mart in Oaks Corners, which they operated for 27 years.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were arranged by the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps.
Martin "Marty" Granger Weld
BREVARD, N.C./CLIFTON SPRINGS - Martin "Marty" Granger Weld, 56, crossed over to his next great adventure on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 from his residence on Probart St., Brevard.
He was born May 29, 1949 in Clifton Springs to Robert and Doreen Weld. He was educated in Clifton Springs at "The School of Hard Knocks." He served his country in the U.S. Navy Stateside and Worldwide.
He is survived by one son, Ryan Weld of Brevard; his father, Robert Weld of Titusville, Fla.; one brother, Eric Weld and wife Julie of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; one sister, Kathryn Meindertsma and husband, Al of Titusville, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marty was preceded in death by his mother, Doreen.
Marty was an excellent carpenter and helped build many fine homes in both Transylvania and Henderson counties. One of his great skills was the ability to teach young people the carpentry trade.
Marty has resided in Brevard for the past 27 years. A large family of friends and animals will miss his generous heart and mischievous grin.

Mary K. Kester
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Mary K. Kester, 88, formerly of Fifth Street in Corning, more recently of the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at the Clifton Springs Hospital.
Family and friends called Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Haughey Funeral Home in Corning. A prayer service was offered Friday, Feb. 24 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Prayers at St. Mary's Church in Corning. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's cemetery in Corning.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to All Saints Parish, 222 Dodge Ave., Corning 14830; Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Road, Lyons 14489; or to the charity of one's choice.
Mary was a lifetime resident of Corning and retired school nurse teacher of the Corning Painted Post School District and many other schools. Mary and John "Jack" Kester were married
Nov. 9, 1946, in St. Mary's Church in Corning. He predeceased her March 14, 1995.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Derry Jackson of Palmyra; grandson, Jeremiah Jackson (fiancee Melanie Segros); granddaughter, Kate Jackson (Nate Bernardi); brother, Robert (Mary Jane) Krebs of Corning; sister-in-law, Jean Krebs; brothers-in-law, Raymond Manning and Tom Kester, all of Corning; and several nieces and nephews.
Antoinette H. Radder
GENEVA - Antoinette H. Radder, 81, of 1021 Waterloo-Geneva Road, passed away on Sunday, Jan 15, 2006 in the Seneca Nursing Home.
Friends called Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services were Wed., Jan. 18 in the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at noon in the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to Alzheimer's research.
Antoinette was born in Canandaigua and lived in Geneva for many years. She was the daughter of the late Ottavio and Amelia Simeone Pastore. She was retired from the Acme Markets and was a member of VFW Post 2670 Auxiliary and St. Stephen's Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; two daughters, Vivian (Paul) Rosenthal of Phelps and Beth (Jerry) Cooke of Geneva; one son, Carl (Ellen) Radder Jr. of Dresden; five granddaughters; and two great-grandsons; her sister, Elvira McDermott of Canandaigua and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, David Radder and two brothers; and two sisters.
Michael L. MacUmber
SHORTSVILLE - Michael L. MacUmber, age 45, of 1188 County Road 7, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006 in the town of Barrington.
Friends called Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Jan. 20 at St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua with the Rev. Thomas Mull officiating. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford.

Michael was born Dec. 2, 1960, in Chandler, Ariz., the son of Lorn MacUmber and Kathleen Dunhaver. Michael was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors and in the woods. He was also a very hard worker and co-owned and operated Kendia Realty. Michael was also self-taught in the area of hazardous mold and became a certified inspector for mold. He was a member of Environmental Solutions Association and American Indoor Quality Counsel.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Betsy MacUmber of Shortsville; three sons, Alex, Dave and Zeke MacUmber; niece, Cassi, who was like a daughter; father, Lorn (Carol) MacUmber of Colorado; grandmother, Mary Jane Donaldson of Webster; uncles, Fred Donaldson Jr. and Steve (Lane MacAuley) Donaldson; aunt, Maryann (Burke) Dickinson; many special nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Mary Virginia Halbleib; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Simmons, Laurie and Carol MacUmber, Alicia (Money) Burgio and Carol (Gary) VanCola; and Bill Stofer, who was like a brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Dunhaver; his brother, Patrick MacUmber; and grandfather, Fred Donaldson, Sr.
Richard F. Atkinson
PHELPS - Richard F. Atkinson Sr., 79, of 230 Main St., entered into eternal peace Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Friends called Monday, Jan. 23 at the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main St., Phelps. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Lynn Spence officiating.

Mr. Atkinson was born June 6, 1926, in Geneva, the son of the late Fred and Stella Sindinski Atkinson. He retired in 1982 from the American Can Co., in Geneva after 38 years of service. He was a veteran of the Marines, serving in both World War II and the Korean conflict. Mr. Atkinson was a member of Phelps American Legion and a lifetime member of the Newark VFW and former member of the Geneva VFW rifle squad. He was a member of the Buckhorn Sportsman's Club and the Hilltop Gun club. He was also a member of Local Union 1838 UAW. Mr. Atkinson enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and cooking game dinners.
He is survived by his children, Mike Atkinson of Phelps, Debbie Rugg of Dresden, Jeff Atkinson of Clyde, Cheryl (Daren) Hammond of Phelps and Terry (Paula) Atkinson of Phelps; daughter-in-law, Cindy Atkinson of Phelps; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Susan (William) Dinges of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther M. Atkinson, who died in 2001; son, Richie, who died in April 2005; brothers, Arthur and Fred; and sister, Mary Peirgrosso.

Richard Leigh Dunham
PHELPS - Richard L. Dunham, age 81, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 at the Hospice of Rochester/Lifetime Care at St. Mary's after an extended illness.
Richard was born Oct. 8, 1924, to Max and Leora Dunham and was the grandson of George and Rena Butler of Phelps. He attended Phelps Central School and then joined the Navy, serving on the USS Euraylie in the Philippines and also in Australia during World War II. He was a member of the Phelps American Legion Seeley B. Parish Post 457, the Geneva VFW 2670 and the Union of Operating Engineers Local 545 in Syracuse.
Friends called Friday, Jan. 20 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. The Phelps American Legion met at the funeral home on Friday evening, followed by the Geneva VFW. Funeral services were Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Shirley Filiatreau officiating. Private burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery.
Richard was married
to Betty Jane (Eysaman) Dunham, who passed away in 1979. He was remarried
to the late Margaret (Clarke) Dunham, his loving wife of 24 years.
He is survived by daughters, Nancy (David) Osborn of Macon, Georgia, Kathie (Jim) Lyons of New Hartford, Marge (Ed) Fuller of Newark; son, Rick (Terri Stein) of Rochester; two grandsons, Jim (Tracy) VanDamme and Tim (Donna) VanDamme of Clifton Springs; three granddaughters, Stacey (Tim) Riemer of Charlotte, N.C., Deanne Opdyke of Syracuse and Julie (Scott) Morgan of Penfield; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew and Zachary VanDamme, Cassandra and Gabriel VanDamme, and Sydney Riemer and Brady Morgan; step-children, Alan (Patty) Dunham and Patti (Frank) Guerrerri; several cousins and step grandchildren.
Richard was predeceased by a great-grandson, Trevor Richard VanDamme.
