WALWORTH - December 16, 2012 at age 76. Ray is survived by his wife, Jorene; children, Brynda (Daniel) Taylor-Flynn, Bethany Rae (Steve) Bennett, Craig (Jennifer) Kinney, Mary Fisher, & Alice Adams; grandchildren, Caitlin & Daniel Flynn, Alyssa Bennet, & John Paul Marks; sister, Faith Randall; several nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends. As a salesman, Ray was well known and well respected in the printing industry.
No prior calling. A Memorial Mass will be planned for spring of 2013. Those wishing may make a contribution to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: Transforming Care Fund, 1200 Driving Park Ave., Newark, NY 14513, in Ray’s memory.

PALMYRA - On December 15, 2012 at the age of 37. He is survived by his wife Lisa von Wiegen; children, Juliana, Owen and John Paul; parents, Gordon and Judy von Wiegen; brother Geoff (Monique) von Wiegen; nephew and niece, Maximilian and Marley von Wiegen; mother and father-in-law, Cindy and Donald Scanlon; other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Brett was a graduate of Palmyra-Macedon Central School and St. John Fisher College.
Friends are invited to join the family, Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 4:30PM -7:30PM at the McGuire/Hargrave and & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. Long, Patrick Thomas

Sodus/ONTARIO - On December 15, 2012 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife Antoinette "Andi" in February 2012. Survived by his son Patrick (Nancy) Long; grandson, Victor Long. Patrick was a long time resident of Ontario. He was born March 24, 1921 to Thomas and Theresa Buccione Long. He worked for many years as a typesetter and also a photographer. Patrick will be buried next to his wife at Calvary cemetery in Ontario. Services are currently pending.

Hanlon, Matthew Peter

ONTARIO - On December 12, 2012 at the age of 25. Predeceased by his grandfather John Bruce Hanlon. Matthew is survived by his mother Melody Hogan-Pfister; father, Matthew (Serena Michels); sisters, Jaclyn Hanlon and Ashley Michels; nephew, Joshua Matthew Rice; grandparents Russ and Sue Pfister; grandmother Nancy Hanlon; aunts and uncles, Pete (Terri), JB (Deb), Cheri (Dave), Mark (Sue), Luke (Terri) and David (Tricia); cousins, Jenna, Jason, Danielle, Mike, Kyle, Max, Hailey, Jacob, Jessica, Leanna, Ashley, Nick, Kyle and Mitch; and many good friends.
Matthew was a talented guitarist whose passion for music touched many lives. Matthew was liked by all who met him and was a great friend. Jesus Christ was Matthew’s saviour.

Parr, Richard C.

PALMYRA - December 11, 2012 at age 96. Mr. Parr is predeceased by his parents, Bertram & Ruth Parr; brother, Robert C. Parr; son, Robert C. Parr. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Doris Parr; sons, Larry (Bonnie) Parr & James Parr; grandchildren, Eric (Angie), Melanie (Mike) Bryan, & Meghan; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Elena, Oliver, Noel, & James; several nieces, nephews, extended family in England & Australia & many friends. Richard was a 70 year member of the Masons, attended the University of Rochester and worked for Garlock of Palmyra for 40 years.
Friends are invited to join the family SATURDAY 1-3 PM at MCGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, where his funeral service will follow at 3 PM. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to a charity of your choice in Richard’s memory.

Hill, Jean Faro

ONTARIO - Died peacefully on December 9, 2012 at the age of 73. Jean was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie VanHoover Faro. Born on November 11, 1939 in Ontario, Jean is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Harry; 2 daughters, Julie (Richard) Cox and Kimberly Hill; two granddaughters, Courtney and Lauren Cox; brother, Walter (Virginia) Faro; sister, Shirley Street, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jean was a 1957 graduate of Wayne Central High School where she was a cheerleader, class officer, sang in chorus and played the French horn. Jean was a life member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ontario Center. Jean worked for Kodak and then focused on raising her two daughters with Harry. Among her other activities were performing in the community theatre musicals, serving as secretary to the town, zoning and planning boards. Jean also accompanied school choruses and enjoyed reading. Jean was a dominating cribbage player and also enjoyed playing Euchre, Bridge and Dominos. Jean enjoyed watching professional tennis. Jean, and her family, are grateful and feel blessed by the many loving and dedicated friends and caregivers she had over the years.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 12 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. A celebration of Jean’s life will take place on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Ontario Center, 1638 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. Interment private. Hayden, David P.

Greece/MACEDON - On December 7, 2012 at the age of 70. Predeceased by his wife Judith, parents and a nephew. Survived by daughter Amy (Richard) DiCarlo; son Daniel Hayden; grandson, Nathaniel DiCarlo; cousins, Maurene Bouras and Tom (Marie) Welsh; sister-in-law Susan (Michael) Gokey; niece Sara Shirey, 5 nieces and a nephew. David was a graduate of RIT and a longtime member of the Rochester Crusaders.
No prior calling. A memorial service will be offered at 10AM in the Creation Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, Friday, December 14, 2012. Interment will follow.

Faas, Chester E.

PALMYRA - December 7, 2012 at age 87. Chester is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Elsie (Arthur) Hey. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne Faas; son, Peter (Donna) Faas; daughters, Mary (James) Mundy, Kathleen (Carey) Farrell, & Dianne (Dan Howes) Button; grandchildren, Ashley (Bill Montroy) Faas, Amanda, Julie, Denise, Audrey, Taylor, Collin, Katy, & Jonathon; great-grandchildren, Cameron & Landon; nieces, nephews & cousins. A lifelong resident of Palmyra, Chester was a self-employed dairy farmer.
Friends are invited to join the family SUNDAY 1-3 PM at MCGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, where his funeral service will follow at 3 PM. Friends are also invited to join the family TUESDAY (December 18) at 10 AM at PALMYRA cemetery for his interment. Lilly, Eunice E. “Miss Lilly”

Macedon Center: On December 5, 2012. Predeceased by her husband George F. Lilly; son, George Richard “Dick” Lilly; grandsons Jonathan David Wahl and Bruce E. Wahl; son-in-law Bruce F. Wahl; 2 brothers and a sister. Survived by her daughter Margaret Wahl; daughter-in-law Anna Lilly; 6 grandchildren, Theresa (Mitch), Rich (Kendra), AmyJo, Ronnie, Chris (Amy) and Richelle (Rhonel); 9 great grandchildren, Sean, Destiny, Eric, Nick, Bruce, Madilyn, Tyler, Bradley and Richie; nieces and nephews A great-great grandson is expected in March 2013.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Miss Lilly will be offered on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 1PM at the Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport, NY 14450. Interment was private at Macedon Center cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Palmyra VFW Post 6788 4306 State Route 31, Palmyra, NY 14522.

Gravino, Bernard C. "Bernie"

MACEDON - On December 4, 2012. Predeceased by his parents, Bernie is survived by his daughter Lindsay (Shayne Barry) Gravino; 2 sisters Teresa Gravino and Mary (Gary) Burkett; 6 brothers, Joseph Michael (Janet), Chuck, Jim (Alice), John (Judy), Tom (Barb) and Donnie (Marsha) Gravino; many nieces and nephews.
Bernie worked for many years at Qualitrol in Fairport and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and racecar driver Mark Martin.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 8 from 10AM until 1PM at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon where a service will follow at 1PM. Interment private at Macedon Village cemetery. Memorials in memory of Bernie may be directed to a charity of your choice.

Mannella, Anthony R. Sr.

ROCHESTER - passed away December 2, 2012, at age 98. Predeceased by his daughter, JoAnn Mannella Purdy. Survived by his wife, Lucy Gala Mannella: children patty (Edgar) Mannella Diaz and Anthony (Ellen) Mannella Diaz Jr., 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
No Prior calling. Freinds may join the family on Wednesday, 1:30PM at St. Stanislaus Church, 34 St. Stanislaus Street, Rochester, for his memorial mass. Interment will be private.

Knapp, Kenneth, R. Sr.

MACEDON - Peacefully with his family by his side on November 29, 2012 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Esther Knapp; sister Carol Sinack. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy; children, Kenneth Knapp, Jr., Karen (Harry) Keller, Diane Musgrave, Eileen (Mike) Burdick, Kevin (Dawn) Knapp, and Cindy (Dave) Hook; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister Linda (Daniel) Banach, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was a Xerox retiree and had spent 33 years working as a forklift operator. He enjoyed his years with Xerox. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the staff at Highland Hospital for their wonderful care.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 11AM to 1PM at the All Seasons Chapel located at White Haven Memorial Park, Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY. A service will follow at 1PM. Inurnment will follow the service. Cross, Judith A.

ONTARIO - Age 49, of 2109 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY, died tragically and unexpectedly on November 26th, 2012. Judith was born in Buffalo, NY, January 3, 1963, to Leo L. and Sallie (Fox) Seibold. She was educated in the Pioneer School district, graduating in 1981. After receiving a certificate from Bryant and Stratton College, Judith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Physician Assistant program at the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in May, 1998 with Magna Cum Laude honors. Judith’s most recent position was a home-based Medical Transcriptionist for Execuscribe, Inc, of Rochester, a position she held from 2002 until 2011. Judith married Michael J. Cross, same address, on July 20th, 1996, in a beautiful ceremony conducted in the sunken garden in Highland Park, Rochester, NY, with the Rev. Linda Dolby presiding. The couple resided in the Corn Hill neighborhood of Rochester prior to moving to Ontario in 2005. A previous marriage to Rick Merriam, of Perry, NY, ended in divorce. Besides her loving and devoted spouse, Judith is survived by a sister, Christine (Forest) Bazan, of East Aurora, NY, brothers Michael (Elizabeth) Seibold, West Seneca, NY, and Jeffrey (Catherine) Seibold, East Aurora, NY, as well as three nephews, Peter Seibold, Eric Seibold, and Zachary Bazan, and a niece, Louisa (Anthony) Katlubeck. She is also survived by two very special friends; her former husband, Ricardo, and Edward Gath of Springville, NY. Judith was predeceased by her father, Leo, in 1991, and her mother Sallie in 1999. Judith loved animals and nature, and cats held a special place in her heart. She also loved camping, music, Buffalo Bills football, flower gardening, fine dining, swimming, hiking, and was an avid and prolific reader. Judith was much beloved by all who knew her, a kind and generous person who was quick to laugh and who gave of her heart. In lieu of flowers, Judith’s family would like to ask that donations in her name be made to an animal rescue of your choice.

Dolan, William J. "Bill"

MACEDON - November 26, 2012 at age 83. He was predeceased by his parents Matilda and William Dolan; brother, Robert Dolan. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Shirley Schrader Dolan of 62 yers; daughters, Pat and Guy Yates and Barb and Mike Oeschger; grandchildren Matt (Jessie) Buechel and Carolyn (Matt) Boyd of Arizona, Brandy Oeschger, Melinda (Matt Thomas) Oeschger and Mike Oeschger Jr.; great grandchildren Lily, Liam, and Annabelle Boyd of Arizona; sister-in-law, Melva Dolan; special friends, Tom Collier and his daughters, Julie, Tia, and Megan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the wonderful and caring staff, doctors, nurses, ladies in rehab and aids at Aaron Manor for all of the fantastic care they gave Bill at this most difficult time. Bill owned and operated his own business, Bill's Lock & Key located in Hegedorns for many years. He enjoyed his love of fishing, hunting and fishing trips to Black Lake. Bill was a life long member of the Masons of Waynd Lodge 416 of Ontario, NY.

PALMYRA - Peacefully on November 26, 2012, with her loving family by her side at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, David J. Breen, Sr.; and her parents, Harold and Mildred Phipps and brother, Donald. Survived by her children, Patrick (Linda) Breen, Terri (Charles) Ziegler, Tim (Lois) Breen, Dave (Karen) Breen, Jr., Marty Breen, Kelly Breen and Tom Breen; grandchildren, Jenny (Travis) Whitton, Amy Trask, Christopher (Nichole) Breen, Sarah (Charles) Mitchell, Erin Breen, Trisha (Chad) Redmond, Patrick Breen, Jr., Sean Breen; 12 Great Grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers in G1, at the Fairport Baptist Homes for their wonderful support and care of Sweet Mary Breen.

LaForty, James A.

ONTARIO - Went into the hands of our lord on November 24, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, his loving children Brenda (Tom) Welker, James (Tanya) LaForty, Karen (Kevin Shea) Mohr and Patricia (Todd) Anderson. Jim loved and took great pride in his grandchildren; Josh, Brenna, Hannah, Felecia, Lucas, Bill, Amanda, Justin, Jacob, Christopher and Brittney. Also surviving Jim are a brother Charles (Anita) Seager, a sister, Barb (Arnold) Kaeserman, brother-in-law Tom (Joanne) Schoen, sister-in-law Jean Rogers and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Jim and Kathy are blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends who have enabled Jim's journey with dignity and love.
Jim had an infectious sense of humor and a zest for life. He leaves us with a smile on our face and a rainbow in our heart.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain".
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Living Word Assembly of God Church, 2344 Ridge Road, Ontario, New York at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center, or Lollypop Farm.

Cleveland, Wendy S.

WEBSTER - Suddenly, January 20, 2013, at age 45. Survived by her parents, Bruce and Sandra Cleveland; brother, Gregory (fiancée, Maribeth Weed) of Sodus; aunt, Sharon Rhodey of Hilton; cousins, Robin VanBortle of Lackawana, and Andrew Michielson of Walworth; and many special friends. She graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and was employed by Kodak and Gleasons.
A Memorial Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, in Wendy’s memory.
